predictions as each game completes. I hope you all
enjoy!
Wild Card
Weekend: January 18, 2013
Well here we are! We are finally
in the Season 22 playoffs. It took a lot longer than
expected, but the fact of the matter is that we're
finally here in the playoffs and everyone is
anticipating the results.

6.)
San Diego (10-6) at 3.) Cincinnati (11-5)
The first game we're breaking down is the Chargers and
Bengals. These two met back in Week 13 with the Chargers
winning handedly, 35-14. The Chargers have been arguably
the hottest team in the MOF in the last 8 games of the
season, going 7-1 in that span and clinching a playoff
spot. With Coach Ron at the helm, these guys know that
the sky is the limit. The Bengals and Coach UKcat are
back in the playoffs again, and he's ready to take the
next step. The Bengals won 11 games this season. Their
biggest win of the season was probably against Dallas,
other than that the Bengals haven't really beaten anyone
that's been eye opening. So what gives? I think that Week
13 game will repeat itself in the Wild Card round here.
I like the Chargers to take care of business, and keep
their hot streak going.
Prediction: Chargers 27, Bengals 21
Result:
5.)
Tennessee (11-5) at 4.) Oakland (10-6)
These two teams did not meet in the regular season, but
they have both taken similar paths to the playoffs. The
Titans finished the season 11-5 but on a bit of a cold
note losing to the Packers and Colts in their last 4
games. However Jake Locker is an MVP candidate, and
Chris Johnson is always a very dangerous explosive back
that can break free at any moment. The Raiders are a
tale of two seasons. They started off the season 5-2,
and looked unbeatable at some times. They then
loss 3 of their next 4 to sit at 6-5 and all of a sudden
things looked very bleak for the Raiders, until they won
4 of their last 5 and clinched the west. The Raiders
also have an MVP candidate in Darren McFadden that will
get some votes. This game will come down to the
following: The run game. Whoever can control the clock
and the ball with the run game, will win this game. I
give the edge to the Titans, and I expect a full wild
card team sweep for the AFC.
Prediction: Titans 34, Raiders 31
Result:

5.)
Ny Giants (12-4) at 4.) Seattle (10-6)
The Giants and Seahawks did not meet in the regular
season. The Seahawks have had a couple coaches this
season, and it ended with Coach LatinYank taking the
team to the playoffs, winning the NFC West. While Coach
Latinyank was there he went 9-4, dominating the NFC West
in the process. The Seahawks are known for their great
young fast defense, and Russell Wilson! Marshawn Lynch
must be a factor in this game though, and he hasn't
really been all season under coach Latinyank's passing
style offense. The Giants have been excellent all season
long, going 12-4 in what many have labeled the best
division in MOF history, the Season 22 NFC East. The
Giants are always a dangerous team, and with that
defense, Eli Manning and that receiving core, they are
going to be a very tough out. Which is why I have to go
with the Giants here, in what could be the toughest wild
card teams in the history of the MOF.
Prediction: Giants 35, Seahawks 20
Result:
6.)
Dallas (12-4) at 3.) Atlanta (11-5)
The Cowboys and Falcons played back in Week 9 with the
Cowboys beating the Falcons down 30-10. Can we see a
repeat of performance? The Cowboys are arguably the team
that NO ONE wants to face here in the playoffs. They are
the only team to beat the Bears this season, and they
beat the Redskins twice! That is more than impressive,
and it shows that the Cowboys are extremely battle
tested. The question is, what Cowboys team will show up?
The Falcons have had a great season as well, winning 8
straight games, including a win over the Giants. I
really like the Falcons here, but it's extremely hard to
go against the Cowboys, who really want a piece of
Chicago again. I'm going with the Cowboys and a clean
complete sweep of wild card teams.
Prediction: Cowboys 38, Falcons 31
