Welcome to MOF Season 88! It still amazes me to say that number out loud. What started 24 years ago as an idea between a 21-year-old kid and Dolan (Lhu27) has grown into 88 seasons of rivalries, championships, unforgettable moments and friendships. We've come a long way since those early days, and none of it happens without the coaches who continue to make this league special. Whether you've been here for decades or just joined us, thank you for keeping this community competitive, entertaining and a place to escape the everyday grind. Now, with another season of Madden 27 ahead of us, it's time to see who rises, who falls and who proves the Commissioner wrong!
Before we dive into Season 88, let's revisit the madness of Season 87. Coach Shawtypizzle and the New York Giants defeated BigReub0904's Miami Dolphins 35–26 in Super Bowl 87, earning Shawty his second MOF championship. But there won't be a title defense from the same coach: Shawty was removed early in Season 88, leaving the Giants to move forward under new leadership. BigReub's run was a story of its own. He started the season with Tennessee before moving to Miami, then took the Dolphins all the way to the championship game. That threw a wrench into my Super Bowl prediction of Titans versus Seahawks. Technically I picked the wrong AFC team, but I did pick the right coach to make it there! As for the playoff field, I correctly predicted four of seven teams in each conference. Not exactly perfection, but enough to keep me coming back for another shot. Here's the official Season 87 report card before we put my Season 88 picks on the line.

Commissioner's silver lining: BigReub0904 reached the Super Bowl after switching from the Titans to the Dolphins. Wrong team, right coach! The 57.1% score measures playoff-team selections only, not game-by-game accuracy. Baltimore, Kansas City and Atlanta were the three correctly predicted division winners.
