The MOF playoff picture was solved entering Week 18, with the only thing to battle for was seeding. For the last few editions now we have seen the playoffs expand by 1 team in each conference, and now we have 6 wild-card games! Also including the extra game, we could see a champion with 20 wins in one season! That's extraordinary. With the MOF playoffs, its always a crap shoot. Just because you were dominant in the regular season, doesn't mean you will be dominant in the playoffs. Despite the unpredictability our staffers and I have sent in our picks for the playoffs! I hope you all enjoy.
*Remember all these predictions are very in depth. We go game by game with the current schedule and predict games 1 by 1 and that's how we come up with our algorithms. Remember this is all in good fun and for some, some bulletin board material! Enjoy

AFC:
Wild Card Round:
7. Tennessee (9-8) at 2. LA Chargers (15-2): The Titans just squeaked their way into the playoffs and have lost 3 straight. They have the 5th best offense in the MOF and we know how streaky Roclo can be. Beast returned this season to the Chargers and boasted a 15-2 record, some say he had a soft schedule but either way he put up 15 wins and had the 2nd best defense doing it. I like the Chargers in this game in a low scoring battle, 23-17.
6. Kansas City (10-7) at 3. Pittsburgh (13-4): These two met last season in the wild-card matchup as well and the Steelers won 27-9. The Steelers are obviously favored in this game since they are the defending champions, but the Chiefs seem to give them fits and push them to the limit. I'm not sure which Mahomes will show up but if they can improve on their 32nd ranked pass offense they have a shot. I'm still going Pittsburgh, 30-21.
5. Baltimore (12-5) at 4. Jacksonville (10-7): It's funny to think Baltimore had a "down" year going 12-5 and having a top 6 offense, and top 6 defense. Mack is a season removed from winning back to back titles, i think we forgot that. The Jaguars sure won't forget, as they are game planning for Lamar and company as we speak. The Jags won a huge Week 18 game vs the Titans to earn the the division and get to play Mack. I like the Ravens to win this game, 31-17.
Divisional Round:
3. Pittsburgh (13-4) at 2. LA Chargers (15-2): This will easily be the biggest hurdle for Coach Beast since his return. The defending champs coming to town. The Steelers are finding ways to win in the playoffs, and I dont think that ends with this game. I think it will be close in the first half, then BigReub's adjustments will prove to be too much for the Chargers as the Steelers will advance to the AFC title game. Steelers, 35-24.
5. Baltimore (12-5) at 1. Buffalo (16-1): Another great game, the Bills have gotten the better of Coach Mack the last two times they have played but the last time they played in the playoffs, Coach Mack took down the Bills in the AFC title game of Season 73. The Bills and Coach Bubba are destined this season, they have had an impressive run and I think they will knock off the Ravens here by a score of 38-31.
AFC Championship:
3. Pittsburgh (13-4) at 1. Buffalo (16-1): We all better tune in for this one because it's going to be must see tv. I like the Bills explosive offense, but the Steelers can hang with them too if they need to. That's the thing about the Steelers and Coach BigReub, they can beat you in a lot of different ways. They can run, they can pass, they can play defense. Whatever needs to be done. I think that's what happens here, and the Steelers go back to the Super Bowl to defend their title. Steelers, 35-31.
NFC:
Wild Card Round:
7. Philadelphia (9-8) at 2. Seattle (11-6): These two met earlier in the season where Seattle won by a score of 37-17. The Seahawks have built an unbelievable team up there in Seattle and they are doing it with defense. 7th best overall, and that secondary is a no fly zone if i ever saw one. The Eagles are limping into the playoffs 3-5 in their last 8 games. We know the bread and butter is that run game for Philadelphia and Seattle is just too good against the run. Seahawks win, 28-14.
6. New Orleans (11-6) at 3. Washington (10-7): I really like this game, I think it has the chance to be the game of the week. Both of these guys are looking to break through this playoff. The Commanders offense runs through Antonio Gibson, and if he gets going the Commanders will be tough to stop. That combined with the 3rd best defense in the MOF, the Saints could have a tough time. I like the Commanders to hang around early, but turnovers could be the story here in a low scoring game. Saints, 21-17.
5. Carolina (13-4) at 4. Detroit (9-8): These two seem to face off every single post-season. The previous two times, the Panthers won handedly. I'm sure Jfon and the Lions are ready to return the favor. We have seen Jahmyr Gibbs completely take over the league this season, making the Lions the 8th best rushing offense in the MOF. The Panthers are a 13-4 wild-card team and have the 2nd best offense in the league as they are dynamic in the run and pass. I expect the Panthers to be too much for Jfon here, 31-20.
Divisional Round:
5. Carolina (13-4) at 2. Seattle (11-6): Coach Q is known to beat the top guys once in a while, Mack, Wilky, etc. But the playoffs is a different story. For some reason the Seahawks fall short. I think this game is going to be really good. I really like Seattle's passing defense even though their rush defense is rated higher, they have playmakers back in the secondary. However, the Panthers just know how to win. They figure it out each game it seems like, and I think they will fall down early but come back in the 2nd half. Panthers, 31-27.
6. New Orleans (11-6) at 1. Atlanta (15-2): The Falcons have won the last 7 meetings between these two teams, and it's almost like its in the Saints heads now. I think the Saints will have their hands full, and of course it's always hard to beat a team 3 times in 1 season but I really don't see the Saints beating the Falcons here, It would be a huge upset if they did. I think Atlanta is just built to win in the playoffs, and that's exactly what they'll do here. Falcons, 35-20.
NFC Championship:
5. Carolina (13-4) at 1. Atlanta (15-2): The Panthers and Falcons, once again, in the NFC title game. Who would've thought. The Panthers took the Falcons down last season in the NFC title game 38-21. The Falcons beat the Panthers in the 1st season of the edition in the NFC title game 41-31. So here's the rubber game. I think we're going to see explosiveness. These two know each other so well, they know what each other are trying to do. Expect to see alot of HB wheel routes, alot of QB drop backs, and alot of points. I think the Falcons will hold off the Panthers by a score of 49-45, but it could even be more than that.
SUPER BOWL 75:
Pittsburgh vs Atlanta: This is going to be a great game. I really like Pittsburgh to try and play keep away, and get out to an early lead. I think it will backfire eventually, as the Falcons can pretty much score at will from anywhere on the field. I think Atlanta takes a 2nd half lead which causes Pittsburgh to panic a bit and make some mistakes. I like Atlanta to win their first SB of the edition by a score of 34-27.
