MOF SEASON 68 PREDICTIONS

Season 68 MOF Predictions: Playoff Picks, Award Predictions, Super Bowl Champion. A brand new MOF season is on the horizon, which means only one thing, predictions! Which teams will play into the post-season, and who will square off in the Super Bowl? We make our best guess.

Before we start the predictions, I want to take a moment and talk about the longevity and success of this league. 20 years ago, I was a 21 year old kid with an idea to create an online madden league, but really had no idea how it worked. With the help of Dolan (Lhu27) we created the MOF. We had some bumps and bruises in our first few seasons, but now 67 seasons later here we are. One of the most prestigious leagues out there. As we enter our unprecedented 68th season, a number that not many leagues have seen, I want to thank every single one of you for making this league what it is. I say this all the time, but this is a wonderful hobby for all of us. Something to get our minds off the everyday grind and have a place to escape for a few hours a week. I take pride and pleasure in providing that for you guys, so again, thank you for making the MOF great!

Welcome to the Season 68 Predictions! First of all, I am chalking my poor predictions up to a massive amount of team hopping and turnover! Right after the predictions were released last season, Dre went back to the Jags and Shawty went to the Broncos. Then BigReub left the Texans for the Raiders. Oh and then Hicks came back to go to Houston, then went to New England when WingedAngel left, then we got RobPowers back in Houston. Doug left Baltimore, where Minden went, then Alex came back to grab the Rams. You guys got all that? Oh I'm not done. Wilky left the league and Miami went to Remo, who left the Vikings but still made the playoffs and we welcomed JeromeMP to the MOF. How about to start this season? We saw Pauly leave the league after a 1 and done season, Q left Dallas to go to Detroit, we got Estrada back to Dallas. Boobie is missing in action, so the Giants were available an PremierPlayer has come back to take them. Are we done yet? Yea I think so. ANYWAY. After all that turmoil, in the most shocking revelation of all, we saw MackDaddy snap his 29 season playoff streak by going 9-8 with the Bills and missing the post-season. We also saw MMX completely turn his fortunes around and win the NFC South with the Saints. Commish had a nice bounce back season and won the AFC North. We also saw the two rookies BigReub and Betroit have monster seasons but just fall short of the promise land. When all the dust and smoke settled, we saw MrWitness36 hoist up his 4th Super Bowl title in a 45-3 win over MrRoclo's Titans. Now what is in store this season? We will have more turnover? I hope not. Can CoachQ turn his fortunes around? Maybe we will see a new champion? Will Mack come back? All that and more will be answered as we go through our Season 68 season predictions.

*Remember all these predictions are very in depth. We go game by game with the current schedule and predict games 1 by 1 and that's how we come up with our algorithms. Remember this is all in good fun and for some, some bulletin board material! Enjoy

Biggest Off-Season Addition: LB Roquan Smith - NE (91 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: SS Jordan Poyer - BUF (90 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: LB Kareem Wakefield - NYJ (79 ovr)

Obviously the talk of the division (and the league) was the lack of dominance by Coach MackDaddy's Bills. Which opened the door last season for Coach Bhicks14's Patriots, Coach Wilky (who turned into Coach Remo's) Dolphins and Coach DoubleD's Jets. The only coach that really stepped up was Hicks and those Patriots who won the division and knocked out the Bills on the last week of the season. I think things will change this season. Coach Mack's Bills went 9-8 last season but had the top defense in terms of yards given up per game, which is crazy. The Bills lost Jordan Poyer yes, but the secondary and defense is still stacked. I expect a bounce back season from the Bills and Coach Mack, who I have favored to win the division coming into the season. Of course that doesn't mean the Patriots won't compete. I still think the division could be won by the Patriots who acquired LB Roquan Smith in free-agency, the biggest move in the division. Hicks gets to start from Week 1 with these Patriots, and that could either be a good thing or a bad thing as they went 8-5 after he took over last season. Expect the Pats to compete for the division, but to fall short. I expect them to be at the top or close to it, in the wild-card race. The New York Jets and Coach DoubleD had a tough Season 67 finishing 6-11. But DoubleD does what DoubleD does. He had himself yet another good draft, even though it was simmed, they were able to grab one of the top players in the draft in LB Kareem Wakefield. They also drafted LT Zach Nails (78 ovr) and RG Tavares Collins (76 ovr). So the Jets are obviously primed and ready to develop. I really don't think it will be this season, but the Jets are on their way up for sure and don't be surprised if they were able to sneak into the wild-card. I just think they are a season away still. Miami was taken over last season by Coach Remo who finished the season 1-6 but still was able to get into the playoffs. The Dolphins made headlines when they traded WR Jaylen Waddle in the off-season to the Saints for SS C.J. Gardner-Johnson. They felt Waddle was expendable since they have Tyreek Hill, but some questioned the move. The Dolphins are in a tough division, they have QB issues and questions, they lost Raheem Mostert but have a stud in HB Chase Edmonds (90 speed) who should start from Week 1. The Dolphins are a question mark. I think Remo needs to hit the practice field to compete with some of the coaches in this division, and that's why I have them finishing in last this season.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: LT Tyron Smith - PIT (97 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: HB Joe Mixon - CIN (94 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: RE Damarr Rivers - CIN (81 ovr)

The AFC North is exactly what we predicted last season. The race came down to the Steelers and Bengals and the only thing that propelled Pittsburgh was the two head to head wins over the Bengals that they had. The Browns were a pleasant surprise as well, even though they only won 6 games they gave every opponent a challenge. The Ravens were taken over by Coach Minden after Week 5 and he struggled a bit but the Ravens were still a dangerous team as well. The Pittsburgh Steelers are given the edge this season because of how they ended last season. They finished strong as Najee Harris finished 2nd in rushing in the MOF with over 2000 yards. With the addition of LT Tyron Smith, those numbers could even get better which is scary. The Steelers have a lot of depth at WR with Johnson, Claypool, Pickens, and Austin. They also have a lot of playmakers on defense, which makes me give them the edge in the division but the real question is QB. Will Pickett hold off Mariota? I think the Bengals could easily swap places with the Steelers, it will come down to those head to head games once again, I believe. The Bengals went into the offseason looking to improve that already dominant defensive line, with the draft pick of RE Damarr Rivers, they look to have quite possibly the best defensive line in football with Hendrickson and Hunter. Ja'Marr Chase had himself a fantastic season, and there's no reason to believe he won't do it again. The Bengals did trade away HB Joe Mixon, which left some scratching their heads, but with Marcus Kirkpatrick (93 speed) waiting in the wings, they look to develop him quickly. I think the Bengals will be a playoff contender if they do not win the division, either way they will be in the discussion. The Ravens finished 5-12 last season, and struggled at times with turnovers. I think Coach Minden needs to let Lamar loose! Let that fella run run run. The Ravens have a bit of an identity crisis, and If they can't figure out how to use Lamar the right way, they will struggle once again. It's hard to be a certain type of coach and control a team like the Ravens, who are really a running team 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The defense is not what it used to be but they still have Patrick McQueen and Marlon Humphrey. I expect the Ravens to struggle a bit, until they can figure out a way to let Lamar run. The Cleveland Browns, as we mentioned above, were much more competitive than we thought they'd be last season. They finished 6-11 but they felt like they had a better season than that. The Browns come into the season with Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb perfectly in tact. They also still have Kareem Hunt, who probably should be traded for some draft picks or depth, anyway. The Browns have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, it's up to Coach ELBuccs to get his skill up! This division isn't a super strong one, and if the Browns were to get hot they could easily surprise the league and win the AFC North. I still have them finishing tied for 3rd with the Ravens, but if i were to choose, I'd probably give the edge to the Browns between the two.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: DE Chris Jones - IND (92 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: QB Ryan Annihilate - TEN (83 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: TE Ramon Rich - IND (80 ovr)

The AFC South was turned on its head last season when Dre came back to the Jaguars before the season after he initially drafted the Broncos. The division immediately became tougher. The Jags didn't win the division, the Titans did but it was a hell of a race. The Colts who were expected to win the division, tripped up and finished 5-12. Then the Texans who had 3 different coaches last season, finished with RobPowers going 6-7 in a 7-10 season. The Titans are the favored team to win the division entering Season 68. The Titans reached the Super Bowl last season with QB Malik Willis winning the Season 67 MVP award. Also you had TE Chigoziem Okonkwon win TE of the year and offensive rookie of the year, on top of THAT you had LB Khalan Tolson win defensive rookie of the year. The Titans have a great core of young talent and Derrick Henry. They are set up to win now, and to win in the future and I really think they should compete for a title this season, and probably next season and the one after that too. I have the Jaguars coming in next, who could easily win the division as well. They are just two head to head losses vs the Titans away from winning it last season. The Jaguars didn't really do too much in the off-season, but they are young and are developing at a rapid rate. You look over their roster, and you don't really see any holes. As long as the Jaguars limit their turnovers, they will have a chance to win every game they play. Trevor Lawrence had himself a great season (despite the interceptions) and James Robinson is a tank, and should be a tank this season too. The Jaguars will be a top team in the AFC and I fully expect them to be in the playoffs either as a division winner or a wild-card team. The Indianapolis Colts and Coach Healy had himself a down season, which was a huge surprise. We expected the Colts to compete for the division title before the season, and they completely flopped and finished in last place. 3 of those 5 wins though, were against the Titans and Jaguars, go figure. Coach Healy is one of those coaches who is always looking to improve, and has impeccable GM skills. Those were on display this off-season as they acquired the best player of any team in the division in DT Chris Jones (92 overall). They also went out and drafted a franchise QB in Jake Bowen with the 11th pick overall and he looks to start immediately. They also drafted the top player in the division, TE Ramon Rich who is gonna be a tank with 89 speed at 6'5" at TIGHT END!!! Watch out. They also acquired CB Jaycee Horn, who looks to be the top CB with his 92 speed. The Colts improved their team arguably better than anyone in the MOF, and I expect that to really show on the field. The Colts will have a bounce back season and will compete for that division. If they do fall short, I also expect them to be a wild-card contender no doubt about it. The Houston Texans were treated like a stepchild last season, with three different coaches. It started with BigReub losing the first game, then Bhicks came in and went 1-2 before leaving for New England. Enter RobPowers! The Voice of the MOF made his triumphant return, and with not such a talented team, went 6-7 in surprising fashion with these Texans. It looks like Powers isn't going anywhere as the Texans signed him to a multiple year contract. Powers has been working day and night trying to improve this roster and last season they went and traded for Baker Mayfield and Tony Pollard. They traded for DT BJ Hill in the off-season and signed former Bills safety Jordan Poyer. So they are doing their part. I think Houston is a dark horse not only in this division, but in the MOF. I have them finishing last only because the talent isn't as good as the other teams in the division. But this division can be very very good and very dangerous. If the Texans finish 10-7 and in a wild-card spot, I won't be surprised. So just know, the prediction is only based on the competition level of the AFC South.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: FS Jabrill Peppers - LV (83 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: DE Chris Jones - KC (92 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: RT Alani Bynes - KC (75 ovr)

The AFC West had some turnover early as well, just like the rest of the divisions in the MOF. The Raiders who were drafted by AssuredFame were immediately let go, and BigReub came to town and dominated, going 14-3 and winning the division. We saw the BigDre leave the division right before the season and Shawty came in. Then we saw the Chiefs take a step back, surprisingly and the Chargers and Coach BuffaloBill have a great season, another surprise! So all in all this division was completely opposite as to what we thought it would be last season before it started. So with all that said and a clean fresh slate to start from, the Raiders come back strong and I think they are far and away the favorites to win this division. BigReub has turned into a force to be reckoned with in this league early in his career. The Raiders went out in the off-season and signed FS Jabrill Peppers in what was the biggest off-season move in the division. Other than that move the Raiders did not lose or gain much in the off-season, and that's completely ok. The Raiders are still stacked, with Jacobs and Davante Adams. Derek Carr even had a great season 67. I expect more of the same, the Raiders will be a Super Bowl contender and my pick to win the west. The Kansas City Chiefs had a disappointing season 67 finishing 6-11 after winning the division last edition in the last season. The Chiefs had a tough go with Mahomes throwing over 60 interceptions and when you turn the ball over that much, it's very hard to win games. The Chiefs went out and traded DT Chris Jones which paved the way for Derrick Nnadi to start at DT. They also went out and drafted RT Alani Bynes who is the top rookie coming into the division. The Chiefs are another one of those teams who didn't do too much in the off-season, basically because of their cap issues but their team is very strong. I expect a bounce back season from Bubba and the Chiefs. I think they have a shot at a wild-card, I really don't think they will compete with the Raiders for the division, but expect them to be a wild-card contender. The Los Angeles Chargers were a great team in Season 67, finishing 10-7 and getting to the playoffs. We did not expect that from BuffaloBill last season, and with these predictions we are thinking that was a fluke. The lack of respect Coach Bill is getting is unprecedented, and I'm sure he's printing this out and pasting it on his locker room wall. We were wrong last season, we could be wrong again, but I think the Chargers take a step back this season with the tougher schedule and finish behind the Chiefs. I wouldn't be surprised if they finished in 2nd, but I do not think they have what it takes to dethrone the Raiders. The Chargers went out and traded for speedy WR Anthony Schwartz from the Browns, which immediately gives them a deep threat for Herbert. The Chargers are stacked, there's no denying that. The roster does not have any holes so why aren't they getting the love!? The Denver Broncos were swapped right before last season to Shawtypizzle who finished 7-10 last season. He had some signs of greatness and some not so much. Russell Wilson is the x-factor as the Broncos will ride or die with his performance. The Broncos have some nice receivers for Wilson, in Sutton and Jeudy. Even Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler are great slot WRs as well. The Broncos didn't do much in the off-season to improve this defense though and they do have some nice pieces in the secondary but they could have used some upgrades on the line and linebacker unit. Either way, I think the Broncos will finish last in this division. This division has the potential to be very very good and the Broncos are the odd team out unfortunately. But then again, we know Shawty is always good for 1 or 2 seasons where he goes nuts and wins 10 or 11 games!

Biggest Off-Season Addition: SS Adrian Amos - PHI (87 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: HB Christian McCaffrey - DAL (97 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: CB LaMarcus Poyer - DAL (78 ovr)

Another division that did not live up to the hype last season was the NFC East. We all expected each team to win 10+ game and maybe be the first division in MOF history that all made the post-season. Instead, the Eagles well, were the Eagles and won the entire thing. The Redsk... Commanders did make the playoffs by the skin of their teeth at 9-8. The Giants and Coach Boobie went missing at the end of the season and finished 8-9, and Coach Q left the Cowboys after a 4-13 season, and went to the Lions. Well, what happened? I tell you what didn't happen first. The Eagles and Coach Witness were as advertised. We expected them to win the division, and get to the big game and they did that. But instead of losing, they won, 45-3 over the Titans for Witness' 4th MOF title. Theres nothing that is stopping me from picking them once again to repeat as they really only lost 1 game the other loss was a sim that EA reversed. The Eagles also picked up the top free-agent in the division in SS Adrian Amos (87 ovr). They also picked up former Eagle DE Brandon Graham, the ageless wonder at 35 yrs old. The emergence of Nakobe Dean is something to keep an eye on as he won defensive MVP, and rookie of the year with his 89 speed at MLB, that's a nice weapon. The Eagles are the favorites to win the division, no question, but I think it won't be as easy this time. Estrada is back wit the Cowboys and I expect Portis to have a bounce back season. The Dallas Cowboys made a switch at coach and Coach Q is out and Estrada is back! Estrada had a lot of success before his MOF departure a few seasons ago. He was known as the regular season champion, never had the post-season success that he wanted, but he sure is capable. Estrada immediately came in and traded Christian McCaffrey back to Coach Q for a 1st rounder, which they turned into the top pick in the NFC East, CB LaMarcus Poyer (78 ovr). The Cowboys have a very nice roster a very nice core with Dak, Zeke, and Lamb. Of course Zeke is getting older now but he is still a force, and will be a force. I expect Dallas to be a real force under Estrada, i think they will fall short of the division but they should be a wild-card team no question. The Washington Commanders and Coach Portiss26 were a playoff team last season, but it didn't feel like a successful season did it? 9-8 is a good season, but for Coach Portisss it's not. They had an early exit in the wild-card round, and they are looking to bounce back from that. I expect Washington to have a stronger season, sometimes it take a season with a new game to get into the swing of things. I expect Antonio Gibson to have a huge season, and Sam Howell to progress more as Washington's QB. Washington had a late signing in LB Andrew Van Ginkel who will probably start at OLB immediately. Although I don't think Washington will challenge the Eagles for the division but they should get into the post-season once again. The Giants have had some drama already to start the season. Coach Boobie left the team before Week 18 (hope everything is ok) and has been completely unresponsive since. That sim loss killed their chances at making the playoffs and ended Boobie's tenure as Giants coach. Coach PremierPlayer was brought in after the off-season to take over for a rookie who was not able to keep up with the league, either way, PremierPlayer is back in the MOF and he has a challenge in the Giants awaiting. Not only is in a division with Witness, Estrada, and Portis, he has a rebuilding roster on his hands. The former coach declined to sign Daniel Jones, and instead picked Ryan Tannehill and Jameis Winston to take over at QB. They also traded for Elijah Moore last season, in a good move, but still kind of lack a #1 receiver. Of course they have Barkley, but defenses are going to stack that box against the Giants so they are going to have to figure out who is going to start at QB. I expect the Giants to struggle a bit in Premier's first season back but after that, they should be competitive.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: HB Christian McCaffrey - DET (97 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: LB Roquan Smith - CHI (91 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: CB Vonn Smith - MIN (83 ovr)

The NFC North was destroyed by the Packers last season and Coach Enzo who finished 13-7. The next best team, the Lions at 7-10. So that's a 6 game division lead, wow. Coach Pauly has already left us and Coach QKP35 has picked back up in Detroit. The Vikings also lost Coach Remo during the season and picked up JeromeMP who looks to be promising as he finished 3-3 to end the season. The Bears did not have a very good Season 67 at 6-11 but things could change this season. What is not changing, is who we are picking to win the NFC north. We have the Packers once again leading the NFC North, and they should do it pretty handedly. The Packers didn't really change much in the off-season and they didn't have to. They signed RG Justin Pugh, and that was a solid move, but the Packers also did not lose much either. Aaron Rodgers is another year older at 38 but still rated a 93 with 92 THP and 91 THA. The Packers fell short in the playoffs to the 49ers, but they have the talent to get to the Super Bowl, it's just a matter of execution. CoachQ did not have a great season in Dallas, as he went 4-13 last season. Which prompted the switch to Detroit. Fresh team, fresh start with the same Christian McCaffrey! Q is another one of those coaches who has superior GM skills and they were on full display this off-season as he did trade for CMC, Bobby Wagner, and drafted QB Will Robbins to be the face of the franchise. Don't forget they signed Daniel Jones to back up and have D'Andre Swift backing up CMC. Oh and Jameson Williams, 98 speed at WR. The weapons are undoubtedly there for the Lions, Bobby Wagner was a huge pick up for the defense as well as was Zach Cunningham. I think Q turns things around this season with Detroit, they will battle for a wild-card spot, i don't think they will fight for the division this season but I do expect them to fight for a wild-card. The Minnesota Vikings and Coach JeromeMP have a clean slate this season, as he came in last season and finished 3-3 and won some nice games, including a win over the Packers. The Vikings went out and not only drafted the top rated player in the division, but the top rated rookie in the entire MOF. CB Vonn Smith (83 ovr) will be ready to lock down his side of the field from day 1. The Vikings also drafted future star Ed Kowalski at QB who looks to be the starter as Cousins was cut. The Vikings have nice pieces and it looks like JeromeMP could be a real surprise entering a full season as a rookie. It's hard to really gauge how good or not good a coach is after 6 games so we're gonna say the Vikings finish around .500. Can he be better? He sure can. Can he be worse? He sure can. The Chicago Bears and Trig had a tough Season 67 finishing 6-11 and putting Trig under .500 for his career. Madden 23 has been tough for everyone including Trig and the Bears. Justin Fields threw 58 interceptions last season and only 25 TDs. That will obviously have to improve. They also went out and cut David Montgomery and gave the full time RB job to Khalil Herbert. Watch out for Darrynton Evans as well (92 speed). I really like Darnell Mooney, but getting him the ball is the problem. The Bears didn't really do much in the off-season to improve the team, and with this division getting better and better it's going to be tougher to keep up. I expect the Bears to unfortunately finish last this season, but we're hoping he can turn things around.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: HB Joe Mixon - CAR (94 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: LT Tyron Smith - NO (97 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: LG Jonathan MacKenzie - ATL (75 ovr)

The NFC South was a big surprise last season as we saw MMX completely turn around his fortune from last season and finish 13-4 with these Saints. The Buccaneers were also tough finishing 10-7 and earning a wild-card spot. The Falcons and Panthers fell short at 7-10 but had some nice spots during the season. So the Saints come into the season in cap hell, that's really the only way to put it. The Saints had to make some serious moves in the off-season to get their cap right and that included trading LT Tyron Smith, SS CJ Gardner-Johnson, and cutting QB Jameis Winston. QB will look at bit different as they moved Taysom Hill back to QB from TE, and signed Carson Wentz. Who will be the starter? Probably Wentz if i had to choose. They did go out and trade for Jaylen Waddle, who is under a rookie contract in what was a really nice move. The also signed SS John Johnson to replace Gardner-Johnson. The Saints had trouble, but MMX really did a great job on rolling with it and getting through. They lost some talent yes, but they didn't dismantle the team. I still think they are the favorites to win the division but it really depends on who that QB is going to be and how he performs. Tampa Bay came out strong last season finishing 10-7 and unfortunately losing in the wild-card round to the Packers. The Buccaneers didn't make too many roster moves and Tom Brady is back once again at the age of 46. His throw power is 89 but accuracy is 99. Brady will be great until he's 50! The Bucs offense is really nice, Fournette, Evans, Godwin, Scotty Miller. They have a lot of weapons. The defense is very good too, Shaquil Barrett had himself a great Season 67. I do expect the Bucs to have a similar season, give or take a win. It will be a tougher time dealing with Atlanta who I think got better, and the NFC East is going to be tough to knock out of a spot. So playoffs will be tougher for the Bucs, they might have to try to knock the Saints out of the division to get into the post-season. The Atlanta Falcons finished 7-10 last season and we were a little surprised by that. Atlanta did go out and draft Jonathan MacKenzie the top rookie pick in the division (75 ovr). The real issue was the performance of Desmond Ridder who threw 64 interceptions. The play of the QB will have to improve, which I think it will. The Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson had a nice season 67, and I think he will have another nice season at the age of 32. The Falcons still have Calvin Ridley and arguably the best TE in the game in Kyle Pitts. Is that enough to overtake the Bucs for 2nd place? Well the Falcons swept the season series with Tampa last season, so a couple more wins and yes they could and they could battle for a wild-card spot if things fall their way. The Carolina Panthers finished 7-10 last season, but it felt more like 4-13, why? I don't really know, but I do know that they landed HB Joe Mixon in what was one of the biggest moves of the season for any team. They also signed HB Ronald Jones to back him up. QB is the main question mark for the Panthers, who at the moment are starting Matt Corral (71 ovr). He did throw 36 interceptions last season but given the state of interceptions for the entire league, that's really not that bad. The Panthers are one of those teams a lot like the Falcons, they could definitely win 10 games if the QB plays better. Joe Mixon makes that much of a difference for your team. I still think the Panthers end up finishing last, but I'm not that confident in that prediction.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: RE Marcus Davenport - SEA (84 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: LB Bobby Wagner - LAR (89 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: FS Braxton Durant - SEA (76 ovr)

The NFC West was exactly what we thought it would be. The emergence of Betroit took the 49ers to the division title, coach Pettigrew dominated with the Seahawks. The Rams had a coaching change and brought back Coach Latinyank77478, and the Cardinals and Eddie finished last. The 49ers first and foremost were fantastic all season 67, winning 14 games and getting to the NFC title game. They fell short against the eventual champion Eagles, but that's not anything to shake your head at. When I think of these 49ers, I think of the development of RB Tyrion Davis-Price. The 22 yr old had himself a fantastic season 67 with 1,663 yards and 25 Touchdowns. I expect another monster season out of him this go around. This defense though, that's where it's at. They had the most takeaways in the history of the MOF with 96 last season, and with alot of young speedy defensive backs. I expect the 49ers to win this division once again, they will battle Seattle once again but I give them the edge, and they are a top super bowl contender going into the season. The Seattle Seahawks and Coach Petti had a phenomenal season 67, finishing 13-4. We welcomed RB Kenneth Walker III into the stratosphere of great players as he won the NFC MVP, RB of the year and ROY. Well deserved too as Walker rushed for 2,568 yards and 23 touchdowns. The Seahawks also signed RE Marcus Davenport, biggest off-season move of the division and drafted FS Braxton Durant, top rookie entering the division as well. The Seahawks also drafted QB Daniel Melvin who looks to be the starter over Matt Ryan. The Seahawks have a really nice roster, and Petti just knows how to win. I expect him to definitely be a wild-card team if they don't knock off the 49ers for the west title first. The Los Angeles Rams started the season 0-5 before Alex came back and took them to a 2-10 record. Tough way to come back to the MOF, but it's always hard with a new game and a new team in the middle of a season. Alex is doing his best to turn this roster around as the cap is starting to be a problem as the seasons go here. They were able to trade LB Bobby Wagner but rumor has it that Aaron Donald is next on the block! Matthew Stafford is getting older, and he might be on his way out too. The Rams are in need of a rebuild but they have a nice roster too, so each player move is a tough decision. The Rams will be better than last season. I expect Alex to play better with a fresh season start. However, their schedule is a little brutal and the 49ers and Seahawks are just that elite. The Cardinals had a really tough season 67 finishing 3-14. They went out and traded Rondale Moore and Andy Isabella last season, in two moves that were highly questionable. In the off-season they went out and signed JuJu Smith-Schuster, and they do have Marquise Brown, but just imagine all that speed if they kept Isabella and Moore. They also drafted a QB with the 4th overall pick, which is another questionable move unless they are trading Kyler Murray, which we haven't heard. The Cardinals have some issues on their roster, especially their offensive line and defensive line. JJ Watt retired, which puts them in a bit of a hole. Right now their best defensive lineman is an 82 overall and is 30 years old. Their secondary is a bit better with Budda Baker and Byron Murphy but these guys need a rebuild. I expect Arizona to finish in last this season until they really figure out what direction to go.
