Welcome
once again ladies and gentlemen to the annual MOF
Season predictions. It saddens me to say that this
will officially be the last season under PlayStation
3 and although we've had some excellent seasons, and
memories it's time to move forward. The MOF stays
ahead of the curve, and it's innovative. Which is
why in March 2014 the MOF will exclusively be on the
PlayStation 4 with Madden '25. However, that's
neither here nor there, because we have 1 final
season left on the PS3, Season 28. We want to make
this season not only memorable, but epic.
We just finished the Season 28 draft, and we did
have some surprises in there, like MOF Commissioner designating himself as 32nd pick, and Coach
Betts returning home to the Redskins. We also see
the first ever division with 3 former Super Bowl
Champions, including the current champion. This
season is going to be great, and we want to send PS3
off the right way. So without further ado, here are
your Season 28 predictions!

AFC East
Buffalo Bills: Coach Beast10790 - Season 27:
Chicago Bears (11-5) *Super Bowl Runner-Up*
Miami Dolphins: Coach Bubbaduran07 - Season 27:
Denver Broncos (13-3)
New England Patriots: Coach Uccbrett - Season 27:
New England Patriots (14-2) *Defending Champion*
New York Jets: Coach Latinyank77478 - Season 27: New
York Jets (10-6)
Analysis: The AFC East comes into this season
with 3 former champions, and correct me if I am
wrong but this is the first time that has ever
happened. 3 defending champions in the same
division. We have had numerous monstrous divisions
in the past, but this one might take the cake. First
you have the Buffalo Bills in Coach Beast, who has 1
title under his belt, with the Buffalo Bills back in
Season 21. What was impressive about Beast last
season is that he came in when the Bears were 2-2,
and took them to an 11-5 record, and right to the
Super Bowl where he was 2 points away from hoisting
his 2nd Super Bowl title. He has his team this
season, and with that running game of Spiller and
Jackson, they will be an extreme threat to the rest
of the AFC. The Miami Dolphins bring in Season 26's
champion, Bubbaduran. Bubba had a great season with
the Broncos in Season 27, trying to defend his title
he was tripped up in the Divisional playoffs by
Coach BigDre245 but that doesn't mean he should be
taken lightly. Although the Miami Dolphins are NOT
the Denver Broncos, they still have a pretty solid
defense, and can put up points. I expect a step
backwards for Duran, but that's still better than
most coaches here in the MOF. The defending champion
Coach Uccbrett is back with the Patriots, he has
decided to defend his title and go for a repeat with
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. It looks like Brady
will be the AFC MVP from Season 27, and its really
hard to pick against Brett and this team. He only
lost 2 games last season on his way to his first MOF
Super Bowl title. He will be receiving the trophy
very soon, and he'll get to enjoy that for a few
months. In final, the New York Jets. A team that
might be on the outside looking in when it's all
said and done, because when you're in a division
full of defending champions, it's never easy. Coach
Alex is still a mastermind with his Jets, and I
expect them to win double digit games, but he might
take the Qpeezy award and be a 10 win team, with no
playoffs.
In Final: This is the most talented division
in MOF history, and I know it's been said before,
but the only way you're getting better than this is
to have 4 defending champions in the same division.
This is the Patriots division to lose, he's used to
the team, he won the championship last season with
them and he has Tom Brady. I expect the Bills to be
right there with the Patriots, and for Miami and the
Jets to battle for 3rd place. I think we definitely
see 2 wild-card teams out of this division.
AFC North
Baltimore Ravens: Coach Dagger27 - Season 27:
Indianapolis Colts (8-8)
Cincinnati Bengals: Coach Woody_08 - Season 27:
Buffalo Bills (6-10)
Cleveland Browns: Coach Classo1999 - Season 27:
Tennessee Titans (7-9)
Pittsburgh Steelers: Coach Pettigrew95 - Season 27:
St. Louis Rams (12-4)
Analysis: When you look at the AFC North, you
say to yourself, there are alot of good defenses
here. That is definitely true. The division is
overloaded with D. Even the Browns have a very good
defense. You look at the coaches and you say, okay 1
coach from last season finished with a winning
record, so what's the deal? Well the Baltimore
Ravens come into the season with Coach Dagger at the
sticks. Dagger had an up and down season with the
Colts, finishing 8-8 although he won the AFC South
with that record, he did not get passed the Jets in
the wild-card round. As long as Dagger doesn't find
himself on a boat during the playoffs, I think he
can improve on his mediocre record of last season.
The Cincinnati Bengals are my sleeper pick this
season. Coach Woody finished 6-10 with the Bills a
season ago, but he had some very nice victories
during the stretch. He is arguably the best user
safety in the league, and he seems to make all the
tackles, which is very impressive. If he can improve
his offensive play from a season ago, these guys
could easily win this division. The Cleveland Browns
are coached by rookie Classo1999 or Shawn Malone.
Malone took over the Titans last season after Coach
Loki was dismissed, he finished with a 7-9 record
and almost snuck his way into the playoffs. This
season he has a far less superior team in the
Browns, well on offense anyway. The defense of the
Browns is very good, but unfortunately defense does
not win you championships in this game. The offense
of Cleveland is stagnant, with slow old running
backs, and a QB problem. The Pittsburgh Steelers are
coming in as the favorite of the division, with
Coach Pettigrew at the helm, he brings his 12-4
record from a season ago to the steel city. The
early rumblings hear that Pettigrew is not very
happy with the speed of the defensive backs, so that
could be a weakness that opponents may try to
exploit. I am sure he will figure it all out though,
and be the one that rises up.
In Final: Pittsburgh's division to lose. I
don't really see anyone matching his talent, unless
a coach gets hot here. I think the Bengals and
Ravens will battle for 2nd place, but both coaches
will most likely miss the playoffs due to the AFC
East Beasts. I think Cleveland will have a rough go
at it, but in the end will probably cause an upset
or two.
AFC South
Houston Texans: Coach BigDre245 - Season 27:
Baltimore Ravens (12-4)
Indianapolis Colts: Coach Ukcat98 - Season 27:
Cincinnati Bengals (4-12)
Jacksonville Jaguars: MOF Commissioner - Season 27:
Detroit Lions (11-5)
Tennessee Titans: Coach Maddenusa09 - Season 27:
Houston Texans (3-13)
Analysis: The AFC South has been given a bad rep
because of last season. The Colts won the division
with an 8-8 record, and the rest of the division
below .500, making it the weakest division in the
MOF. This season might be about the same, although
it might not be the weakest, it will have at least
two teams with sub .500 records. The Houston Texans
come into the season the easy favorite to win this
division. BigDre245 is coming off an excellent
season with the Ravens, where he was just 1 win away
from making his first Super Bowl. He finished 12-4,
winning the North, and knocking out the defending
champ Duran. The Texans are a good team that
finished with a bad NFL record, so expect big things
out of Dre. The Indianapolis Colts have a TON of
talent, and will only get better with the updates.
Coach Ukcat though has had 2 very rough seasons with
Madden '25. Including last season with his favorite
team, finishing 4-12. So expectations are
understandably low entering Season 28. The
Jacksonville Jaguars are manned by MOF Commissioner.
Dypko punished himself last season for going
unsportsmanlike on Coach Krayzie, in order to break
some records, and he gave himself the last pick in
Season 28's draft. Well he has been stuck with the
Jaguars, which we all expected. The Jaguars are not
a very good team, that's a shock to no one, and the
QB situation might be a revolving door, but I think
Dypko's skills alone will earn him second place in
the division. The Titans are manned up by Coach
Maddenusa09 who initially began the season with the
Redskins last season, and then resigned, and came
back to finish the Texans season. Overall I think he
might've won 1 or 2 games total. Maddenusa's skills
are lacking a bit, but that's okay because that's
not what the MOF is all about. Maddenusa will fight
to the finish, but unfortunately the season does not
look bright for him and the Titans.
In Final: I'd be shocked if Houston didn't
win this division by 3 or more games. Dypko's
Jaguars could be a surprise team if he can figure
out that offense and 4-3 defense, but don't count on
it. The Titans and Colts will battle each other for
3rd place, and I think they will both finish with
double digit loses.
AFC West
Denver Broncos: Coach Rmorales26 - Season 27:
Arizona Cardinals (4-12)
Kansas City Chiefs: Coach IGotASxyWife - Season 27:
New Orleans Saints (7-9)
Oakland Raiders: Coach TeamKA - Season 27: Oakland
Raiders (7-9)
San Diego Chargers: Coach CheeferD - Season 26:
Indianapolis Colts (13-3)
Analysis: The AFC West will be an interesting
division to say the least. We have a bunch of middle
of the pack coaches and none really stand out as
being dominant. Cheefer is coming back off his 1
year suspension for illegal substance abuse, and
TeamKA is again, back with the Raiders. The Denver
Broncos are the most talented team in the division
no doubt about, as they are coached by Rmorales.
Coach Ralfy is the essential MOF veteran. Has been
here for a very long time, and I think maybe Pauly
and Jfon have been here longer than him. Ralfy has
been one to underachieve with his teams, as he
finished 4-12 last season, and he only technically
won 1 game and the rest were sims. So the
expectations are not high in Mile High. The Chiefs
are coached by IGSW this season. And Coach IGSW has
not been the same since he won his Super Bowl title
back in Season 18. This will make 10 seasons now
since he's won his title, and he would love to get
back to the glory days, and he has a shot with the
Chiefs. Jamaal Charles, and a very good defense has
these guys on my list of WATCH OUT NOW. The Oakland
Raiders are once again coached by TeamKA. KA seems
to get off to slow starts, and then steamrolls at
the end. I believe he won 5 of his last 6 games last
season to finish 7-9, including a win over the
champion Patriots. The Raiders and Coach TeamKA were
the AFC Champions back in Season 25, and he looks to
get back to the promise land this season. However, I
think he will have to put a little more time in if
he wants to get back. The San Diego Chargers are a
very underrated squad, and with Cheefer at the helm,
it looks like these guys will be the team to beat
this season. Cheefer had a season off due to
violating the substance abuse policy, but now he has
back and better than ever. He said the season off
refreshed him and he's ready to compete. I agree
with him, and I think this is going to be a very
good season for the Cheef.
In Final: I see this division in 2 tiers. The
Chargers, and the rest. I think San Diego is the
clear cut favorite to win the division, with the
Chiefs and Raiders battling for 2nd place and a
possible wild-card berth. The Broncos are my dark
horse, because if Rafael puts the time and effort in
that i know he can, he could definitely be dominant
with the Broncos.

NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: Coach Trigrdan - Season 27: New York
Giants (10-6)
New York Giants: Coach Enzo - Season 27: Washington
Redskins (5-11)
Philadelphia Eagles: Coach MrRoclo - Season 27:
Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)
Washington Redskins: Coach NYRedsins35 - Season 27:
Atlanta Falcons (9-7)
Analysis: The NFC East always seems to be a
division of prominence. It always has great teams,
finishing with great records, and we always have a
10 win or 11 win team miss the playoffs. Last season
was no different. The Giants and Eagles both
finished 10-6 and both missed the playoffs, as the
Cowboys finished 11-5 and won the division. This
season will probably be no different. The Dallas
Cowboys bring in Coach Trigrdan who last season took
the Giants to a 10-6 record, after coming off a
Super Bowl loss to the Broncos. The Cowboys are no
doubt a great team, and they have a lot of weapons
on the offensive side. Coach Trigr should not be
overlooked because he missed the playoffs last
season, he's had arguably the best last 10 seasons
of anyone in the MOF. The Giants are coached by Enzo
this season, who came into last season taking over
the Redskins for Coach Maddenusa. He finished the
season at 5-11 but word has it that Enzo can ball,
and he's going to turn it around with Big Blue. The
Giants have a lot of nice weapons and talent around
the team, so I dont see this being entirely
impossible. The Philadelphia Eagles, for the 3rd
straight season, are coached by MrRoclo. Roclo has
gotten better to his defense, as he finished 9-7,
and then 10-6 last season. So how about 11-5 for an
encore? We will have to see, the competition is, as
usual, tough here in the NFC East. Finally, the
Redskins. Coach Betts had enough of venturing out
into the wild with another team, and although Betts
finished with a 9-7 record last season, he won his
division and even won a playoff game, but all Betts
are off (no pun intended) this season, as he returns
to DC. Look for him to put up great numbers once
again, and to be on top of the world in Washington.
In Final: This is going to be heavy
competition throughout. The Redskins have to be the
favorite, because Betts is a 4-time champion with
the Redskins and he knows the ins and outs. The
Eagles are next on my list, because when you play
with a team for 3 straight seasons, you start to
become an expert on that team. The Cowboys and
Giants will also be teams to watch for. Bottom line,
this division has the potential to have 3 playoff
teams, but also has the potential to have 1 because
of them beating up each other.
NFC North
Chicago Bears: Coach Pauly2110 - Season 27:
Pittsburgh Steelers (6-10)
Detroit Lions: Coach Whosnext83 - Season 27: Seattle
Seahawks (11-5)
Green Bay Packers: Coach Stormdownburst - Season 27:
San Diego Chargers (6-10)
Minnesota Vikings: Coach Krayzie300 - Season 27:
Minnesota Vikings (2-14)
Analysis: The NFC Norris division is set to do
some serious battle this season. Although you just
have 1 team with a winning record from last season,
you have some old school coaches in this division.
Every coach has had his share of history, including
two hall of famers. The Chicago Bears are the MOF's
version of the New York Yankees. Winning 6
Championships and making 7 Super Bowls in just 27
seasons. This season the Bears are coached by none
other than Coach Pauly2110. The hall of fame coach
is glorifying himself, stating to pack that MOF
trophy and ship it to him early, because the title
is his this season. Well in the words of Lee Corso,
NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND. Pauly had a rough season with
the Steelers, going 6-10 in his comeback season. He
also subbed for the Buccaneers and lost a bunch of
games with them too. As long as he doesn't drink
during his games, he will be a lock for the
playoffs. I believe he will have a different focus
knowing that this is the last season of PS3. The
Detroit Lions who are everyone's favorite, are
coached by Whosnext83. Last season he took the
Seahawks to an 11-5 record as he made his triumphant
return to the league. The Seahawks are a much better
squad than the Lions, we understand that, but the
Lions have Calvin Johnson. The same Johnson who
broke every receiving record in MOF history last
season. I think the Lions are going to be the team
to beat here. The Green Bay Packers are starting to
fall in the all-time records, as Footballray took
them to a 4-12 record last season. This season the
Packers are coached by a familiar face, Coach
Stormdownburst. It seems like every couple seasons
Coach Storm coaches the Packers, but never really
achieves anything special with them. I don't think
this season will be any different. The Packers have
a lot of talent, I just think Storm is out coached
most of the time during his games. The Minnesota
Vikings have hired back Coach Krayzie even after his
2-14 season. To be honest, he really went about 2-10
and then received 3 or 4 simmed loses. The Vikings
lack a QB there's no question about that, but
Krayzie did pretty well with Freeman at the helm
last season. When Krayzie is 100% dedicated to his
team, he does pretty well. He just needs to find
that focus once again, and he will be a tough out.
In Final: Two team race. The Bears and the
Lions will fight each other for first place, it will
be the head to head games that will determine the
winner of this division. I think both teams are
playoff bound, and the Packers and Vikings will be
battling each other to not be in last place.
NFC South
Atlanta Falcons: Coach Footballray - Season 27:
Green Bay Packers (4-12)
Carolina Panthers: Coach Dpanther95 - Season 27:
Carolina Panthers (7-9)
New Orleans Saints: Coach Cedarpoint2k - Season 27:
Cleveland Browns (8-8)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Coach Jfon - Season 27: Miami
Dolphins (10-6)
Analysis: The NFC South returns with an MOF
rivalry that has stood the test of time. The
Buccaneers and the Panthers. Both coaches have had
their teams more often than not, and have developed
a very nice rivalry over the years. The Atlanta
Falcons won this division last season with a 9-7
record, they return this season with Coach
Footballray, who I believe did not win a single game
after he took over the Packers mid-season.
Footballray has a little more to learn about this
game before he becomes competitive, and I think this
will be a rough go for him until he can figure it
out. There is no question however, that the Falcons
have a lot of weapons.. but so did the Packers. The
Carolina Panthers are back with Coach Dpanther95.
Dpanther had a decent season winning 7 games with
these same Panthers, and we all know he has been
waiting for the day that Carolina was an actual
competitive NFL team so he could have a good team in
Madden, and that time is now. The Panthers could be
a surprise team, especially in this division. I say
this every season, but the most deserving coach to
finally reach the post-season is and always will be
Coach Dpanther. The New Orleans Saints have a new
coach at the helm, and that is Cedarpoint. Coach
Cedarpoint took the Browns last season, to an 8-8
record which many believe is impressive in its own
right. Cedarpoint has always been a coach that has
his good days and bad days, and when he is on, he is
on! The Saints are that team that will break him
into a new light, if he cannot win with the Saints,
then he doesn't deserve to win at all! However, I
believe barring any type of distraction, he has to
be the favorite to win this division. The Tampa Bay
Buccaneers have a familiar face coming back to them,
and that's coach JFon. Coach Jfon saw what life was
like without Tampa Bay last season, and with a
decent team in the Dolphins. He won 10 games. Now he
has to deal with a QB that is less accurate than Ray
Charles, and a RB who is as fragile as him too. The
Buccaneers will be that team that will beat the
defending champ, then lose to the worst team from a
season ago. That's how Jfon's seasons have gone with
Tampa Bay, and I don't expect anything less than
that again.
In Final: Toss up. This division is a
complete toss up, with 2 real teams the Panthers and
Saints vying for first place, with the Bucs mixed
in. I think the Saints have the edge, because Cedar
is just a great coach and has a great team. I think
the Panthers will be much improved from a season
ago, as we go the team gets better. And the Bucs
with Jfon will also be competitive but not enough to
overtake the division. I think we can see this
division being 10-6, 9-7, 8-8 or 9-7, 8-8, 7-9, with
those 3 teams separated by a game or two.
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals: Coach Qpeezy35 - Season 27:
Dallas Cowboys (11-5)
San Francisco 49ers: Coach Trevpap - Season 27: San
Francisco 49ers (9-7)
Seattle Seahawks: Coach Raydar - Season 27:
Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11)
St. Louis Rams: Coach Gbryan - Rookie
Analysis: The NFC West is turning into a
division of excellent teams. Every team in this
division has a solid squad, and when it comes down
to it, any one of them realistically could come away
with the division title. The Arizona Challenge this
season is taken by none other than Coach Qpeezy.
Peezy was known as a coach who would win 10 or 11
games and miss the damn playoffs, somehow this
happened two seasons in a row to him, which
discouraged him from returning. However we did talk
him back into coming back, because the MOF wouldn't
be the same without him. So we finish out PS3 with
Peezy taking the Arizona Challenge, and I believe
with the talent on defense and the solid play of
Carson Palmer, these guys could be your division
champions. The San Francisco 49ers are back with
Coach Trevpap who took the 49ers to a (6-2) record
before going on his cruise. He came back and
finished the season 3-5 and missed the post-season.
You better believe he will be on his game from start
to finish this season, and be ready to win with the
most talented team from top to bottom in the game.
The Seattle Seahawks however, might want to argue
that point. Coach Raydar who finished 5-11 with the
Jaguars last season, finally gets a shot at coaching
a fantastic team, the top rated team in the game,
the Seahawks. Seattle is undoubtedly a great team
and they are always in the mix just because of their
raw talent. The St. Louis Rams are coached by rookie
Gbryan, and not much is really know about him other
than he's Beast's boy. If he plays anything like
Beast, the NFC West is going to be turned upside
down. But we all know how I am with predicting
rookies records, you have to earn respect to be
shown respect, so for now I think the Rams will be
finishing in the bottom of the NFC West.
In Final: This division is going to be a nice
fight between three teams. I give the edge to Qpeezy,
because he always finds a way to win the tough
games, and I just love the Cardinals defense. I
think the 49ers and Seahawks have a legitimate shot
at the wild-card but the x-factor will be their head
to head games.
