MOF SEASON 88 WEEK 2 POWER RANKINGS

MOF Season 88 Week 2 Power Rankings

Week 1 Makes an Immediate Impact

One week is in the books, and the Season 88 MOF Power Rankings are already moving.

The defending champion New York Giants survived another battle with Philadelphia, Miami continued rolling, Kansas City opened with an impressive Top 10 victory over Detroit, and Seattle looked dominant in a 48–14 win over San Francisco.

But the biggest Week 1 statement belonged to Canesbucs1 and the New York Jets. After entering S88 at #19, the seven-time champion exploded for 59 points against New England and makes the biggest jump near the top of this week's rankings.

Elsewhere, MrRoclo continues to have BigDre245's number, AssuredFame extended his actual-game winning streak, Coach QC finally stopped Houston's slide, and Remo357 needed only one week to match Pittsburgh's entire S87 win total.

SIM results receive minimal weight in these rankings.

Let's get into the Week 2 MOF Power Rankings.

👑 1. Shawtypizzle — New York Giants

1–0 | Previous #1 | W 38–33 vs Philadelphia Eagles
Week 2: New Orleans Saints

The champs remain on top.

CheeferD gave Shawtypizzle another battle, but New York survived 38–33. The Giants have now beaten Philadelphia by a combined six points over their last two meetings.

Until somebody takes down the defending champion, Shawtypizzle owns #1.

2. BigReub0904 — Miami Dolphins

1–0 | Previous #2 | W 42–33 vs Dallas Cowboys
Week 2: Buffalo Bills

Miami picked up right where it left off.

TSG_Lee34 made the Dolphins work, but BigReub0904 put another 42 points on the board and opened S88 with a victory.

The defending AFC champions remain firmly at #2.

3. Jfon — Cincinnati Bengals

1–0 | Previous #3 | SIM W 41–6 vs Green Bay Packers
Week 2: Pittsburgh Steelers

Cincinnati stays #3, but not because of the 41–6 score.

The game against Green Bay was a SIM, so it receives very little ranking weight.

Jfon remains this high because of what he accomplished during the S87 postseason, including playoff victories over Baltimore and Kansas City on the way to the AFC Championship.

Week 2 against Remo357 gives us our first actual look at the S88 Bengals.

🔥 4. KnightNoles — Seattle Seahawks

1–0 | Previous #4 | W 48–14 vs San Francisco 49ers
Week 2: Minnesota Vikings

KnightNoles didn't just win.

Seattle destroyed San Francisco 48–14.

Coming off an NFC Championship appearance, the four-time champion immediately showed that last season's postseason run wasn't something he plans on leaving behind.

Seattle remains #4 and continues putting pressure on the Top 3.

5. Bubbaduran07 — Kansas City Chiefs

1–0 | Previous #5 | W 41–27 vs Detroit Lions
Week 2: Green Bay Packers

Kansas City needed a response after its disappointing S87 playoff exit.

It got one.

Bubbaduran07 opened S88 against #10 Commish Jeff and Detroit and came away with a convincing 41–27 victory.

The Chiefs don't move because everyone ahead of them remains deserving of their position, but Kansas City owns one of Week 1's best quality victories.

Green Bay comes next.

🔥 6. BigReg — Atlanta Falcons

1–0 | Previous #6 | W 56–35 vs Washington Commanders
Week 2: Indianapolis Colts

The Atlanta offense is already rolling.

BigReg dropped 56 points on Washington and continued the momentum that made Atlanta one of the hottest teams at the end of S87.

Now things get much more interesting.

Week 2 gives us #6 BigReg vs #7 MrRoclo.

🚀 7. MrRoclo — Indianapolis Colts ⬆️1

1–0 | Previous #8 | W 27–9 vs Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 2: Atlanta Falcons

MrRoclo moves into the #7 spot after another convincing victory over BigDre245.

Indianapolis beat Jacksonville 38–17 to finish S87.

The Colts opened S88 by beating the Jaguars again, this time 27–9.

That's a combined 65–26 over the last two meetings.

A win over #6 BigReg could send MrRoclo toward the Top 5.

8. Krayzie300 — Carolina Panthers ⬇️1

1–0 | Previous #7 | W 23–21 vs New Orleans Saints
Week 2: Chicago Bears

Krayzie300 didn't do anything wrong.

Carolina won.

The Panthers simply slide one spot because MrRoclo's 18-point victory over Jacksonville was more impressive than Carolina's narrow 23–21 win over New Orleans.

Krayzie300 remains firmly inside the Top 10.

9. MrWitness36 — Arizona Cardinals

1–0 | Previous #9 | W 20–17 vs Los Angeles Rams
Week 2: Detroit Lions

MrWitness36 picks up an important early victory.

Arizona beat #11 MMXCalibur and the Rams 20–17 in a matchup between two coaches who spent much of S87 near the top of the rankings.

Now MrWitness36 gets another quality opportunity against Commish Jeff.

A 2–0 start with wins over the Rams and Lions would be difficult to ignore.

10. Coach QKP35 — Baltimore Ravens ⬆️2

1–0 | Previous #12 | W 34–26 vs Los Angeles Chargers
Week 2: Cleveland Browns

Baltimore is back inside the Top 10.

Coach QKP35 handled Lynx and the Chargers 34–26, giving the Ravens a solid opening victory after their S87 playoff disappointment.

Next comes Snooppanther.

Cleveland beat Baltimore last season, so Coach QKP35 already knows this isn't a matchup to overlook.

🚀 11. Canesbucs1 — New York Jets ⬆️8

1–0 | Previous #19 | W 59–31 vs New England Patriots
Week 2: Houston Texans

Welcome back, Canesbucs1.

This was the biggest Week 1 statement outside the preseason Top 10.

The seven-time champion didn't just beat #13 Mindenplaya and New England.

The Jets destroyed the Patriots 59–31.

After a disappointing 6–11 S87, Canesbucs1 needed something to show that season was behind him.

Scoring 59 against an 11-win playoff team will do it.

12. Commish Jeff — Detroit Lions ⬇️2

0–1 | Previous #10 | L 41–27 vs Kansas City Chiefs
Week 2: Arizona Cardinals

Detroit falls two spots, but there's no reason to panic.

Commish Jeff's opening loss came against #5 Bubbaduran07 and Kansas City, and the Lions still put 27 points on the board.

The schedule doesn't get easier.

Now Detroit gets #9 MrWitness36 and Arizona.

An 0–2 start would create a much bigger rankings problem.

13. MMXCalibur — Los Angeles Rams ⬇️2

0–1 | Previous #11 | L 20–17 vs Arizona Cardinals
Week 2: San Francisco 49ers

MMXCalibur loses another close one.

The Rams fell 20–17 to #9 MrWitness36 and Arizona, so this isn't a result that destroys their ranking.

But there's a larger concern.

Dating back to the end of S87, Los Angeles has now lost three consecutive actual games.

The Rams need to stop the slide against San Francisco.

14. Snooppanther — Cleveland Browns

1–0 | Previous #14 | W 28–27 vs Denver Broncos
Week 2: Baltimore Ravens

Cleveland survived a scare.

MackDaddy pushed the Browns all the way to the finish before Snooppanther escaped 28–27.

The victory keeps Cleveland at #14.

Now comes a much bigger opportunity.

Beat #10 Coach QKP35 and Baltimore, and Snooppanther could make a significant jump next week.

15. CheeferD — Philadelphia Eagles ⬆️1

0–1 | Previous #16 | L 38–33 vs New York Giants
Week 2: Washington Commanders

Yes, CheeferD is moving up after a loss.

Context matters.

Philadelphia has played Shawtypizzle and the Giants twice in consecutive actual games and lost 56–55 and 38–33.

That's six combined points separating the Eagles from the defending champions.

CheeferD continues proving that Philadelphia is better than the record suggests.

🔥 16. AssuredFame — Tennessee Titans ⬆️5

1–0 | Previous #21 | W 44–41 vs Buffalo Bills
Week 2: New England Patriots

The streak continues.

AssuredFame closed S87 with three consecutive actual victories.

Tennessee then opened S88 by beating Buffalo 44–41.

That's now four straight actual wins.

At this point, it isn't just a good finish to last season. The Titans are becoming a legitimate riser.

17. Boobie_MTZ7 — Green Bay Packers

0–1 | Previous #17 | SIM L 41–6 vs Cincinnati Bengals
Week 2: Kansas City Chiefs

Ignore the 41–6 score for ranking purposes.

Green Bay's loss to Cincinnati came through SIM, so Boobie_MTZ7 stays exactly where he entered the season.

Now we get a real measuring stick.

Boobie_MTZ7 faces #5 Bubbaduran07 and Kansas City in Week 2.

18. BigDre245 — Jacksonville Jaguars ⬇️3

0–1 | Previous #15 | L 27–9 vs Indianapolis Colts
Week 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Indianapolis has become BigDre245's problem.

Jacksonville closed S87 with a 38–17 loss to MrRoclo.

Then the Jaguars opened S88 with another loss to the Colts, 27–9.

That's two straight actual losses to Indianapolis by a combined 39 points.

Tampa Bay provides BigDre245 with a much-needed opportunity to rebound.

19. AJ072694 — New Orleans Saints ⬇️1

0–1 | Previous #18 | L 23–21 vs Carolina Panthers
Week 2: New York Giants

AJ072694 drops one spot, but there's nothing alarming about the Week 1 performance.

New Orleans went toe-to-toe with #8 Krayzie300 and Carolina and lost by only two, 23–21.

Unfortunately, things get considerably harder.

#1 Shawtypizzle and the defending champion Giants are next.

An upset would completely change the Saints' ranking.

20. TSG_Lee34 — Dallas Cowboys

0–1 | Previous #20 | L 42–33 vs Miami Dolphins
Week 2: Los Angeles Chargers

Dallas remains #20.

TSG_Lee34 scored 33 points against #2 BigReub0904 and the defending AFC champion Dolphins and remained competitive.

There's no reason to punish the Cowboys heavily for that.

The Chargers provide a more favorable matchup in Week 2.

21. Mindenplaya — New England Patriots ⬇️8

0–1 | Previous #13 | L 59–31 vs New York Jets
Week 2: Tennessee Titans

This was the Week 1 shocker.

Mindenplaya entered S88 at #13 after winning 11 games last season.

Then New England surrendered 59 points to Canesbucs1 and the Jets.

The Patriots have enough S87 success to avoid completely crashing, but losing by 28 to the preseason #19 team requires a major adjustment.

And now red-hot Tennessee is coming.

🚀 22. Coach QC — Houston Texans ⬆️6

1–0 | Previous #28 | W 13–3 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 2: New York Jets

Houston finally stopped the bleeding.

Coach QC ended S87 with four consecutive actual losses after once sitting at 8–5.

The Texans opened S88 by holding Tampa Bay to only three points in a 13–3 victory.

The offense wasn't spectacular.

The defense was.

Now Coach QC gets the hottest riser of Week 1 in Canesbucs1.

23. MackDaddy — Denver Broncos ⬆️1

0–1 | Previous #24 | L 28–27 vs Cleveland Browns
Week 2: Las Vegas Raiders

Sometimes a loss can still show progress.

Denver finished S87 just 4–13.

MackDaddy opened S88 by taking #14 Snooppanther and Cleveland down to the wire before losing 28–27.

For a six-time champion trying to rebound from one of his worst seasons, that's at least encouraging.

Las Vegas comes next.

🚀 24. Remo357 — Pittsburgh Steelers ⬆️8

1–0 | Previous #32 | W 40–26 vs Las Vegas Raiders
Week 2: Cincinnati Bengals

Pittsburgh won one game during all of S87.

Remo357 needed exactly one week to match that total in S88.

The Steelers beat Las Vegas 40–26, scoring 40 points in the process.

Beating the preseason #31 team doesn't suddenly make Pittsburgh a contender, but an actual 14-point victory after a 1–15 season deserves a major jump.

Now comes a completely different challenge:

#3 Jfon and the Cincinnati Bengals.

25. BuffaloBill — Buffalo Bills ⬆️2

0–1 | Previous #27 | L 44–41 vs Tennessee Titans
Week 2: Miami Dolphins

BuffaloBill showed some life in defeat.

Buffalo pushed #16 AssuredFame and Tennessee to the limit before losing 44–41.

The Bills move up two spots despite the loss.

Unfortunately, #2 BigReub0904 and Miami are next.

26. Bengalsonly_7 — Washington Commanders ⬇️4

0–1 | Previous #22 | L 56–35 vs Atlanta Falcons
Week 2: Philadelphia Eagles

Washington's offense scored 35.

Normally, that gives you a chance.

Not when the defense allows 56.

Bengalsonly_7 takes a four-position hit and now faces #15 CheeferD and a Philadelphia team that just pushed the defending champions to the limit.

27. Domi_TSX — Chicago Bears ⬇️2

0–1 | Previous #25 | SIM L 41–25 vs Minnesota Vikings
Week 2: Carolina Panthers

Chicago's loss came through SIM, so Domi_TSX receives very little individual punishment.

The Bears slide primarily because actual victories elsewhere created movement.

Week 2 against #8 Krayzie300 and Carolina gives Domi_TSX an opportunity to control his own ranking.

28. ThaTiger74 — Minnesota Vikings ⬆️1

1–0 | Previous #29 | SIM W 41–25 vs Chicago Bears
Week 2: Seattle Seahawks

Minnesota technically starts 1–0.

But because the Chicago game was simulated, ThaTiger74 gets almost no individual credit for the 41–25 score.

The Vikings move only one spot.

A Week 2 matchup with #4 KnightNoles and Seattle could tell us considerably more.

29. Lynx — Los Angeles Chargers ⬆️1

0–1 | Previous #30 | L 34–26 vs Baltimore Ravens
Week 2: Dallas Cowboys

The Chargers lost, but they were competitive.

Lynx stayed within eight points of #10 Coach QKP35 and Baltimore in a 34–26 defeat.

That's enough to show some improvement after a difficult S87.

Dallas is next.

30. ELBuccs — Tampa Bay Buccaneers ⬇️4

0–1 | Previous #26 | L 13–3 vs Houston Texans
Week 2: Jacksonville Jaguars

The defense wasn't the problem.

Three points were.

Tampa Bay couldn't generate anything offensively against Coach QC and Houston and fell 13–3.

The Buccaneers now meet a Jacksonville team that is equally desperate to avoid an 0–2 start.

31. Latinyank77478 — San Francisco 49ers ⬇️8

0–1 | Previous #23 | L 48–14 vs Seattle Seahawks
Week 2: Los Angeles Rams

This was the biggest Week 1 collapse in the rankings.

Losing to #4 KnightNoles and Seattle isn't embarrassing.

Losing 48–14 is a different story.

San Francisco falls eight positions and now gets an angry MMXCalibur and Los Angeles team trying to avoid another actual loss.

32. Big_Country1112 — Las Vegas Raiders ⬇️1

0–1 | Previous #31 | L 40–26 vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 2: Denver Broncos

Las Vegas had the perfect opportunity to begin climbing.

Big_Country1112 faced the only coach ranked below him.

Instead, Remo357 and Pittsburgh won 40–26.

With the Steelers escaping the basement, Big_Country1112 inherits #32.

The good news is another opportunity arrives immediately against Denver.

🔥 Week 2 Games to Watch

#6 BigReg — Atlanta Falcons vs #7 MrRoclo — Indianapolis Colts

This is the game of the week.

BigReg just scored 56 points, while MrRoclo has now beaten BigDre245 twice in consecutive actual games by a combined score of 65–26.

The winner could be knocking on the door of the Top 5.

#9 MrWitness36 — Arizona Cardinals vs #12 Commish Jeff — Detroit Lions

MrWitness36 opened with a quality victory over MMXCalibur.

Commish Jeff opened with a 14-point loss to Bubbaduran07 and Kansas City.

Arizona has an opportunity to establish itself as a legitimate Top 10 fixture, while Detroit needs to avoid an 0–2 start.

#10 Coach QKP35 — Baltimore Ravens vs #14 Snooppanther — Cleveland Browns

Snooppanther has already proven he can beat Coach QKP35.

Now Cleveland gets another shot.

A Baltimore victory could push Coach QKP35 even higher, while another Browns victory over the Ravens would send Snooppanther climbing.

#11 Canesbucs1 — New York Jets vs #22 Coach QC — Houston Texans

Suddenly, this is interesting.

Canesbucs1 just put 59 points on New England.

Coach QC and Houston just held Tampa Bay to three.

Something has to give.

#5 Bubbaduran07 — Kansas City Chiefs vs #17 Boobie_MTZ7 — Green Bay Packers

Don't let Green Bay's 41–6 Week 1 score fool you.

That game was simulated.

Boobie_MTZ7 gets his actual S88 debut against a Kansas City team coming off an impressive 41–27 victory over Detroit.

Bubbaduran07 has an opportunity to start 2–0 before the Chiefs' huge Week 3 matchup with #1 Shawtypizzle and the defending champion New York Giants.

The Top Is Holding — For Now

Week 1 produced plenty of movement, but the league's elite remains largely intact.

Shawtypizzle still has the crown.

BigReub0904 remains directly behind him.

Jfon holds #3 based largely on his AFC Championship run, while KnightNoles and Bubbaduran07 opened S88 with two of the week's strongest actual victories.

But the middle of the rankings is already getting crowded.

MrRoclo is climbing.

Canesbucs1 might be back.

AssuredFame has quietly won four consecutive actual games.

And after one of the worst seasons of his career, Remo357 already has Pittsburgh moving in the right direction.

It's only Week 2.

But the rankings are already getting interesting.
