Raiders Fall to Saints 38–12 as Offensive Struggles Continue

NEW ORLEANS — The Las Vegas Raiders are still searching for answers.

After another difficult afternoon, the Raiders fell to the New Orleans Saints 38–12, dropping another game as head coach Big Country continues his search for his first win.

Cousins Struggles Under Center

Quarterback Kirk Cousins had a rough outing, completing just 8 of 19 passes. He finished the game without a touchdown and threw three interceptions, making it difficult for the Raiders to generate any consistent offense through the air.

While the passing game struggled, the Raiders found some success on the ground.

Jeanty Provides a Spark

Running back Ashton Jeanty continued to show his ability to produce despite the team's struggles. Jeanty carried the ball 13 times for 52 yards, averaging 4.0 yards per carry. He also contributed three receptions for 25 yards.

However, the Raiders couldn't turn those opportunities into touchdowns.

The team's only touchdown came from Mike Washington Jr., who broke loose for a spectacular 39-yard touchdown run. Washington finished with just three carries, but turned them into 43 rushing yards and one touchdown, providing one of the few bright spots for the Raiders.

McCoy Leads the Defense

Defensively, Jermod McCoy led the Raiders with seven tackles and added two solo sacks, giving the defense some production despite the Saints putting 38 points on the board.

Meanwhile, Maxx Crosby was held in check throughout the afternoon and was unable to make his usual impact on the game.

Special Teams Shows Explosiveness

Special teams provided another positive for Las Vegas.

Darian Porter recorded 150 all-purpose yards, showcasing the explosiveness that has made him a dangerous weapon whenever he gets the ball in his hands.

But the individual flashes weren't enough to overcome the team's overall struggles.

For Coach Big Country, the pressure continues to build as he searches for his first victory.

The Raiders have shown flashes from their running game, defense and special teams, but consistency remains elusive. The offense, particularly the passing game, has struggled to find its rhythm.

With another loss added to the record, Big Country now faces the challenge of keeping his locker room together, lifting morale and finding a way to get the Raiders back on track.
