COACH BUBBA DURAN'S AI GENERATED POWER RANKINGS
Week 2 Edition
1. KnightNoles — Seahawks ⏸️
Previous: #1 | 86 OVR
Week 1: W 40–17 vs Patriots
Week 2: vs Cardinals
Knight entered at #1 and then backed it up. Seattle dominated an 87 OVR Patriots team by 23 points. Add a .726 career record and four championships, and there isn't enough reason to knock him off the top.
Week 2 impact: The #1 spot is on the line against MrWitness36.
2. Beast10790 — Dolphins ⬆️ 2
Previous: #4 | 74 OVR
Week 1: W 45–12 vs Raiders
Week 2: vs 49ers
The scary part isn't the 45 points—it's that Beast is doing this with the lowest-rated roster in the league. His .736 career percentage and three championships already established the coaching pedigree. A 33-point opening win reinforces it.
3. MrWitness36 — Cardinals ⬆️ 2
Previous: #5 | 76 OVR
Week 1: W 42–10 vs Chargers
Week 2: vs Seahawks
Another elite coach overcoming a weaker roster. Witness destroyed Los Angeles by 32 and now gets the ultimate test.
#3 Cardinals vs #1 Seahawks.
Winner has an excellent argument for #1 next week.
4. Bubbaduran07 — Chiefs ⬆️ 3
Previous: #7 | 84 OVR
Week 1: W 35–25 vs Broncos
Week 2: vs Colts
Probably the best quality win of Week 1.
Bubba didn't beat a bottom-ranked opponent—he beat preseason #2 MackDaddy, a six-time champion with an 87 OVR Broncos roster. Kansas City deserves the Top 5 jump.
Now the Chiefs have to avoid the classic letdown against MrRoclo.
5. MMXCalibur — Rams ⬆️ 3
Previous: #8 | 90 OVR
Week 1: W 30–12 vs 49ers
Week 2: vs Giants
The best roster in Madden 27 looked like the best roster. MMX handled an 85 OVR San Francisco team by 18.
With the Giants next, 2–0 looks very possible.
6. MackDaddy — Broncos ⬇️ 4
Previous: #2 | 87 OVR
Week 1: L 35–25 vs Chiefs
Week 2: vs Jaguars
I'm not dropping MackDaddy farther than this.
A 513–234–1 record, six Super Bowl championships and 49 playoff wins mean too much. He lost a legitimate game against another established coach—not some catastrophic upset.
Denver can immediately rebound against BigDre.
7. Commish Jeff — Lions ⬆️ 2
Previous: #9 | 86 OVR
Week 1: W 42–7 vs Saints
Week 2: vs Bills
35-point victory.
Jeff has 748 career wins and now has an 86 OVR Detroit roster underneath him. That's a potentially dangerous combination.
He could be Top 5 very soon.
8. BigReub0904 — Titans ⬇️ 5
Previous: #3 | 76 OVR
Week 1: SIM L 49–9 vs Jets
Week 2: vs Eagles
This is the big correction.
BigReub should not fall to #10 or lower because of a simulated game. He's still 192–41 (.824) with two championships. That's arguably the best statistical coaching résumé on the board.
He drops because Tennessee technically starts 0–1, but Week 2 is our first real opportunity to evaluate him.
9. Canesbucs1 — Jets ⬇️ 3
Previous: #6 | 77 OVR
Week 1: SIM W 49–9 vs Titans
Week 2: vs Packers
Same logic in reverse.
I'm not moving Canes into the Top 3 because the CPU won 49–9. His seven championships keep him comfortably Top 10, but Week 2 against Boobie will tell us considerably more.
10. Boobie_MTZ7 — Packers ⏸️
Previous: #10 | 81 OVR
Week 1: W 36–20 vs Vikings
Week 2: vs Jets
Boobie did what he was supposed to do. Green Bay won comfortably and now gets a massive opportunity against Canes.
Beat the Jets and Top 6–7 territory becomes realistic.
11. Domi_TSX — Bears ⬆️ 2
Previous: #13 | 83 OVR
Week 1: W 27–25 vs Panthers
Week 2: vs Vikings
It wasn't pretty, but 1–0 is 1–0.
Domi already owns a championship and .616 career winning percentage. Starting Madden 27 with a victory moves him toward the Top 10.
12. Coach QKP35 — Ravens ⏸️
Previous: #12 | 88 OVR
Week 1: SIM W 17–7 vs Colts
Week 2: vs Saints
QKP stays exactly where he started.
That's appropriate for a simulated result. Baltimore remains one of the league's strongest rosters at 88 OVR, and now we'll wait for actual games to determine movement.
13. BigDre245 — Jaguars ⬇️ 2
Previous: #11 | 79 OVR
Week 1: L 21–15 vs Browns
Week 2: vs Broncos
This was an upset, but BigDre's 647–375–1 career record prevents a huge fall.
Unfortunately, MackDaddy is waiting in Week 2.
Starting 0–2 would create a much larger drop.
14. Jfon — Bengals ⬆️ 6 🔥
Previous: #20 | 83 OVR
Week 1: W 27–0 vs Buccaneers
Week 2: vs Texans
One of Week 1's biggest winners.
A shutout is a shutout.
Jfon's career résumé isn't elite, but 518 victories provide plenty of experience. Cincinnati couldn't have asked for a better start.
15. Snooppanther — Browns ⬆️ 3 🔥
Previous: #18 | 78 OVR
Week 1: W 21–15 vs Jaguars
Week 2: vs Buccaneers
This ranking is about who you beat.
Snooppanther knocked off preseason #11 BigDre despite Jacksonville having the more accomplished coach.
Now Cleveland has a legitimate opportunity to start 2–0.
16. Latinyank77478 — 49ers ⬇️ 2
Previous: #14 | 85 OVR
Week 1: L 30–12 vs Rams
Week 2: vs Dolphins
Losing to a 90 OVR Rams team isn't devastating.
But now Latin gets #2 Beast10790.
Pull that upset and #16 disappears quickly.
17. CheeferD — Eagles ⬇️ 1
Previous: #16 | 88 OVR
Week 1: SIM L 32–31 vs Commanders
Week 2: vs Titans
One-point simulated loss.
That's barely enough information to move Cheefer at all. The 88 OVR Eagles remain one of Madden 27's most talented teams.
18. MrRoclo — Colts ⬇️ 3
Previous: #15 | 82 OVR
Week 1: SIM L 17–7 vs Ravens
Week 2: vs Chiefs
This is the corrected ranking.
Roclo shouldn't fall 11 positions over a simulation. He's 565–444–1 with 29 playoff appearances, 25 playoff victories and a Super Bowl championship.
Week 2 is a completely different story.
If Roclo actually beats #4 Bubba, he could immediately return toward the Top 12.
19. TSG_Lee34 — Cowboys ⬆️ 6 🚀
Previous: #25 | 84 OVR
Week 1: W 49–35 vs Giants
Week 2: vs Commanders
TSG's career numbers kept Dallas low preseason.
Then Dallas dropped 49 points.
That's enough to earn one of the week's largest jumps. Beat Washington and TSG starts building an entirely different Madden 27 résumé.
20. Mindenplaya — Patriots ⬇️ 1
Previous: #19 | 87 OVR
Week 1: L 40–17 vs Seahawks
Week 2: vs Steelers
I'm also limiting this drop.
Minden lost badly—but it was against #1 KnightNoles. New England still has an 87 OVR roster.
Week 2 is much more important.
21. Coach QC — Texans ⬆️ 5 🚀
Previous: #26 | 82 OVR
Week 1: W 13–10 vs Bills
Week 2: vs Bengals
QC gets rewarded for an actual win.
Houston knocked off an 85 OVR Buffalo roster, and that means considerably more to these rankings than a simulated victory.
Now he gets red-hot Cincinnati.
22. Krayzie300 — Panthers ⏸️
Previous: #22 | 80 OVR
Week 1: L 27–25 vs Bears
Week 2: vs Falcons
A two-point loss against #11 Domi isn't enough for me to punish Krayzie.
He stays put.
23. BigReg — Falcons ⬇️ 6
Previous: #17 | 81 OVR
Week 1: SIM L 31–13 vs Steelers
Week 2: vs Panthers
This is still a larger drop than Roclo because BigReg's career résumé isn't as strong as the Colts coach's.
But because it was simulated, Atlanta gets a clean opportunity to recover against Carolina.
24. Bengalsonly_7 — Commanders ⏸️
Previous: #24 | 79 OVR
Week 1: SIM W 32–31 vs Eagles
Week 2: vs Cowboys
Washington stays put.
I'm not rewarding Bengalsonly significantly for a CPU-generated upset any more than I'm heavily punishing Cheefer for it.
25. Shawtypizzle — Giants ⬇️ 2
Previous: #23 | 79 OVR
Week 1: L 49–35 vs Cowboys
Week 2: vs Rams
The offense produced 35.
The defense surrendered 49.
And now the schedule hands New York the 90 OVR Rams.
That's rough.
26. BuffaloBill — Bills ⬇️ 5
Previous: #21 | 85 OVR
Week 1: L 13–10 vs Texans
Week 2: vs Lions
Buffalo's roster is too talented for me to completely bury them.
But losing to preseason #26 Coach QC was one of Week 1's legitimate upsets.
Now Buffalo gets a Lions team that just won 42–7.
27. Remo357 — Steelers ⬆️ 4
Previous: #31 | 83 OVR
Week 1: SIM W 31–13 vs Falcons
Week 2: vs Patriots
I'm giving Remo some movement because Pittsburgh technically starts 1–0, but the SIM label prevents a massive jump.
Beating Minden in an actual game would mean much more.
28. ThaTiger74 — Vikings ⬆️ 1
Previous: #29 | 80 OVR
Week 1: L 36–20 vs Packers
Week 2: vs Bears
No upset against Boobie, but Minnesota avoids falling because the teams underneath them had even worse openings.
29. ELBuccs — Buccaneers ⬇️ 1
Previous: #28 | 81 OVR
Week 1: L 27–0 vs Bengals
Week 2: vs Browns
Getting shut out hurts.
Cleveland isn't an easy rebound anymore either after Snooppanther's Week 1 upset.
30. AJ072694 — Saints ⬇️ 3
Previous: #27 | 78 OVR
Week 1: L 42–7 vs Lions
Week 2: vs Ravens
New Orleans suffered the largest defeat of Week 1 at 35 points.
Then the schedule gives them an 88 OVR Baltimore team.
31. Lynx — Chargers ⬇️ 1
Previous: #30 | 82 OVR
Week 1: L 42–10 vs Cardinals
Week 2: vs Raiders
The good news?
Week 2 couldn't be set up much better for a rebound.
It's #31 vs #32, and the winner is moving.
32. Big_Country1112 — Raiders ⏸️
Previous: #32 | 77 OVR
Week 1: L 45–12 vs Dolphins
Week 2: vs Chargers
Big Country is now coming off an 0–16 career start and a 33-point opening loss.
There's no argument for moving him yet.
But beating Lynx would finally give Big Country his first career MOF victory.
🔥 WEEK 2 GAMES TO WATCH
⭐ GAME OF THE WEEK
#1 KnightNoles — Seahawks vs #3 MrWitness36 — Cardinals
This is about as good as it gets. KnightNoles opened with a 40–17 win while MrWitness36 destroyed the Chargers 42–10. Both are 1–0, both are multiple-time champions, and both made statements in Week 1.
What's at stake: The winner has the inside track on #1 next week. If Witness beats the current #1 after winning by 32 in Week 1, it's going to be extremely difficult to keep him out of the top spot.
👀 #9 Canesbucs1 — Jets vs #10 Boobie_MTZ7 — Packers
This is our first chance to really evaluate Canes after the Jets' 49–9 SIM win over BigReub. Boobie actually played his opener and beat Minnesota 36–20.
What's at stake: Winner could jump into the Top 6–7. A Packers victory would be especially valuable because it would give Boobie a win over a seven-time champion.
⚔️ #6 MackDaddy — Broncos vs #13 BigDre245 — Jaguars
Two MOF heavyweights are both looking to avoid 0–2. MackDaddy lost 35–25 to Bubba while BigDre was upset 21–15 by Snooppanther.
What's at stake: Huge. The winner stabilizes his ranking. The loser becomes one of the biggest potential Week 3 fallers.
🚨 #4 Bubbaduran07 — Chiefs vs #18 MrRoclo — Colts
Bubba earned one of Week 1's biggest wins by knocking off preseason #2 MackDaddy 35–25. MrRoclo technically starts 0–1, but his 17–7 loss was a SIM, so this will be a much better indication of where Indianapolis belongs.
What's at stake: Kansas City can validate its move from #7 → #4 and reach 2–0. If MrRoclo beats a Top-5 Chiefs team, he could erase nearly all the damage from his simulated Week 1 loss.
💥 #2 Beast10790 — Dolphins vs #16 Latinyank77478 — 49ers
Beast is somehow making a 74 OVR Miami roster look terrifying after a 45–12 opening win. Latin has to rebound quickly after losing 30–12 to the Rams.
What's at stake: Beast could be #1 with another dominant win and a Knight loss. Latin could potentially jump back toward the Top 10 by pulling the upset.
🚨 WEEK 2 UPSET ALERTS
#18 MrRoclo over #4 Bubbaduran07 — Don't let that #18 fool you. Roclo has 565 career wins and a championship, and his only Season 87 loss was simulated.
#16 Latinyank77478 over #2 Beast10790 — Miami has the superior coach résumé, but San Francisco has an 85 OVR roster compared with Miami's 74. That's an enormous talent advantage.
#13 BigDre245 over #6 MackDaddy — Calling BigDre an underdog feels strange. He's 647–375–1 with 38 career playoff wins. Denver better not treat this like an easy rebound game.
#26 BuffaloBill over #7 Commish Jeff — This would be a massive rankings upset. Buffalo has an 85 OVR roster, though, so there is enough talent there to make things interesting.
📈 BIGGEST WEEK 1 RISERS
Jfon: #20 → #14 (+6) — A 27–0 shutout demanded attention.
TSG_Lee34: #25 → #19 (+6) — Putting up 49 points after entering at #25 completely changes the early perception of Dallas.
Coach QC: #26 → #21 (+5) — Houston's 13–10 victory over an 85 OVR Buffalo team was a legitimate upset.
Snooppanther: #18 → #15 (+3) — Beat preseason #11 BigDre and now has an opportunity to start 2–0.
Bubbaduran07: #7 → #4 (+3) — Unlike some Week 1 winners, Bubba beat an elite opponent: preseason #2 MackDaddy.
📉 BIGGEST WEEK 1 FALLERS
BigReub0904: #3 → #8 (-5) — Normally a 49–9 loss would cause an enormous collapse, but it was a SIM loss. His .824 career percentage keeps him inside the Top 10.
BuffaloBill: #21 → #26 (-5) — An 85 OVR Bills team losing to preseason #26 Houston hurts.
MackDaddy: #2 → #6 (-4) — The six-time champion stays Top 10, but Bubba earned the right to jump him after the 35–25 result.
MrRoclo: #15 → #18 (-3) — Only a small punishment because the Colts' loss was simulated.
AJ072694: #27 → #30 (-3) — Losing 42–7 makes it difficult to stay ahead of many teams.
🎯 WEEK 2: WHAT TO WATCH
The biggest question is who takes #1. KnightNoles controls his destiny, but he's facing #3 MrWitness36. Beast is sitting at #2 waiting for either of them to slip.
Then there's the Chiefs. Bubba went from preseason #7 to #4 by beating MackDaddy. Another win would put Kansas City at 2–0 and make a Top-3 ranking very realistic depending on what happens above them.
At the other end, Chargers vs Raiders might be the most important bottom-of-the-rankings game. Lynx is #31, Big Country is #32, and both were blown out in Week 1. Big Country is still searching for his first career MOF victory.
Week 2 has everything: #1 vs #3, two legendary coaches trying to avoid 0–2, Top-10 coaches facing each other, potential redemption games, and a battle to escape #32.
Now we find out which Week 1 performances were statements—and which were just one-week noise.
