MOF SEASON 72 PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS

Season 72 MOF Playoff Predictions: Who Will Win Super Bowl 71?

The MOF playoff picture was solved entering Week 18, with the only thing to battle for was seeding. For the last few editions now we have seen the playoffs expand by 1 team in each conference, and now we have 6 wild-card games! Also including the extra game, we could see a champion with 20 wins in one season! That's extraordinary. With the MOF playoffs, its always a crap shoot. Just because you were dominant in the regular season, doesn't mean you will be dominant in the playoffs. Despite the unpredictability our staffers and I have sent in our picks for the playoffs! I hope you all enjoy.

*Remember all these predictions are very in depth. We go game by game with the current schedule and predict games 1 by 1 and that's how we come up with our algorithms. Remember this is all in good fun and for some, some bulletin board material! Enjoy

AFC:
Wild Card Round: I'm not sure how the Jaguars got into the playoffs here, starting 1-7 and finishing 8-9 to make the playoffs is a feat in itself. However going up against Mack's Ravens is going to be a tall task. I like the Ravens to end the Jaguars hopes in a 34-16 score. The Jets and Gouch travel to the mile high to play Denver and Coach Big Reg. These guys played in Week 5 with Denver winning 31-28. I see the same type of game here, Denver getting the late score to move on, 28-24. The Steelers who are a 5th seed at 14-3 is pretty remarkable. The Colts snuck into the playoffs with a Week 18 win over the Texans, and although i like the way the Colts have been playing I dont think anyone would be picking against the Steelers here. 41-17 Steelers.
Divisional Round: Denver at Baltimore is going to be one of those close games until the 4th quarter. That's when Lamar and Mack will take over. I expect Baltimore to take over the 4th quarter and move onto the AFC title game by a score of 31-21. The Steelers travel to UNDEFEATED Buffalo in a juggernaut of a game. I think Bubba has been great this season, and his passing attack will stifle the Steelers defense. I like Buffalo to continue their undefeated season with a 35-30 win over Pittsburgh.
AFC Championship: This is going to be a great game. Undefeated Buffalo hosting the Baltimore Ravens and Coach Mack. Some say Bubba hasn't been battle tested and that might be true, but to get to this point without a single loss is incredible. I think Buffalo gets out to a hot start but I expect Baltimore to chip away and force Buffalo into mistakes late that will seal the AFC for the Ravens. 28-26 Ravens.

NFC:
Wild Card Round: The Panthers have arguably been the hottest team in the NFC entering the playoffs. After starting 1-4 the Panthers have gone 11-1. I think that streak comes to an end against Jfon's Lions. These two played back in Week 5 with the Lions winning 31-27, I see the same exact score this time too Lions win 31-27. The Eagles and Saints are an interesting matchup. The Saints beat the Falcons twice to earn the NFC South crown, and the Eagles are playing hot football at the right time. I like Pettigrew's playoff experience to be a huge factor in this one, I expect a late mistake by Boobie that will cost them the game. Eagles 23-20. The Falcons and 49ers have already played as we write this up, but I honestly would have went with Atlanta in a close tough game 21-17.
Divisional: I think we're going to see an instant classic with Detroit and Atlanta. They played back in Week 3 where the Falcons won 13-7 in a defensive fight. I think Detroit has fine tuned their offense to score more than 7 points and Jfon's defense is always a tough one to figure out. I expect Detroit to move on to the NFC title game with a 27-20 win over the Falcons. The Commanders and Eagles once again. The Commanders have won 8 straight and 10 out of their last 11 games, they have beat the Eagles twice and I expect them to beat the Eagles for a 3rd time. Betts just has whatever it is, even though both games were decided by less than a score, I still expect the Commanders to come out on top here 41-27 against the Eagles.
NFC Championship: If you look at the history between Jfon and Betts, Betts usually comes out on top, but I feel like there is something behind Jfon this season and i'm not sure what it is. I expect this game to be fantastic must watch football. I like the Commanders to get out to a lead, but Jfon to roar back with his multiple weapons on offense. I like Detroit in a late score to move onto the Super Bowl 38-34.

SUPER BOWL 72:
Baltimore vs Detroit. I think this is going to be a great game. I really like Jfon but I just think Mack's Ravens are going to be too much for them to overcome. I think Lamar will take the game over, Coach Mack will force some turnovers and he will play keep away. I expect a low scoring affair, that the Ravens will win 21-17 as Mack will win his 2nd Super Bowl here in the MOF.
