SEASON 42 - SEASON PREDICTIONS

Welcome once again ladies and gentlemen to the annual MOF Season predictions. It's amazing that we are going into our 42nd season here in the MOF, that makes us feel, well really old! We started this league in 2003 and never thought it would become what it has today! Now that we're going into Madden '18 we are looking to once again hammer out 4 to 5 seasons, maybe more if time allows us to!

The MOF is coming off a great set of seasons, with the last one being Season 41. Rookie Coach MrWitness36 took the Bengals to a Super Bowl title in Season 41, and he's still officially a rookie with only 14 regular season games under his belt. Can he do the same with his new team in Chicago? You still got your heavy hitters in Leet (Patriots), Jonesy (Vikings), and Pauly (Texans). So we're curious on how things will be turning out. So without any further interruptions here are your Season 42 Predictions!

AFC EAST
Buffalo Bills - Coach Sweettaz1

Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Detroit Lions (6-10)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Detroit Lions (4-12)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (29-67) .302
Team's Overall Record: 321-317 (.503)

Coach
Sweettaz1 has had his ups and downs in his MOF career, lately it has been more down that up. With his last two seasons in Detroit being miserable, 6-10 and 4-12 respectively. He looks to try to improve, with a not so much improved team in Buffalo. The Bills lost two important pieces of their offense in the off-season with Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods both going to the Rams. They did however make a late trade for Eagles former wide receiver Jordan Matthews, we're pretty sure that has come over with the latest roster update, for Sweettaz's sake, he hopes so. Their biggest off-season move was signing Fullback Patrick DiMarco, when your biggest move is a FB and a kicker, things do not look up. The Bills are in a rebuilding mode, no doubt about it, and in this division Sweettaz is going to have to do some serious work to compete and we just don't see that happening, not this season at least. The Bills still have LeSean McCoy and an improved Tyrod Taylor so hopefully that will be enough to cause some upsets in this division.

Miami Dolphins - Coach CheeferD
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Oakland Raiders (8-8)
Coaches 2nd Full Season: Season 40 Oakland Raiders (7-9)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (167-115) .592
Team's Overall Record: 305-347-1 (.468)

Many people forget CheeferD actually went undefeated in 38 with the Baltimore Ravens. He then stepped away in Season 39, only to return in Season 40 with the Raiders. Some call BS on the Commish for letting him back in with a different team, but either way Cheefer is still with us. Now Cheef might be a MUT head but that makes him a solid coach in Season 42. The more you play, the better you are, that's just common sense. However the last two seasons haven't been that spectacular for Cheefer. 8-8 and 7-9 with the Raiders isn't anything to celebrate, but his near .600 win percentage is. Cheef boasts a 167-115 record over his 19 season career. Only 11 more coaches in MOF history have more wins. The Miami Dolphins are a pretty solid bunch, especially with the addition of Julius Thomas at Tight End. The defense is where the Dolphins look to be strong, with the additions of Nate Allen and Lawrence Timmons, these guys look to challenge for a playoff spot, even the division, in Season 42. The Dolphins lost Mario Williams to retirement, and Tackle Branden Albert to name a few. I believe Jay Cutler might be your starter by mid-season if all else fails with Ryan Tannehill (who isn't injured in the MOF). At the end of the day, I expect Miami and Coach CheeferD to be a force in the AFC.

New England Patriots - Coach Leetpenith
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Kansas City Chiefs (13-2-1)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Kansas City Chiefs (7-9)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (103-33-1) .755
Team's Overall Record: 300-345-2 (.465)

First and foremost we are happy to report that Coach Leet is safe after Hurricane Irma smacked into his state over the last few days. He is currently without power, so in the interim we have Jfon filling in and playing his games, for Leet's sake hopefully that isn't more than a game or two! Last edition of Madden Leet had some success with the Chiefs, but he also had some disappointments too. Last season he went 13-2-1 only to be bounced in the AFC title game to the Bengals and rookie MrWitness. The season before that was Leets worst of his career, 7-9! However when you look at the body of work Leet has put up in his 10 season career, it's pretty astonishing. 103-33-1 that's a .755 win percentage which is 3rd on the all-time win percentage list in MOF history (given at least 6 seasons). Now Leet in control of the Patriots? That's just dangerous. The Patriots, well, are the Patriots. Even though they aren't an MOF power house, they have all the talent that they need to be one in the right hands. The addition of Brandin Cooks gives them a speed threat they haven't seen since Randy Moss. Dwayne Allen moves over from Indianapolis, so now they have a great blocking TE in addition to Gronkowski. Tom Brady hopefully can stay more than 1 season before retiring, especially that he said he wants to play deep into his 40's. Leet is one of the definitely favorites to win the Season 42 Super Bowl and how can you deny that?

New York Jets – Coach Kracknutty ®
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Seattle Seahawks (9-2) *Took team over at (3-2)*
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: N/A
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (9-2) .818
Team's Overall Record: 357-299 (.544)

Coach Kracknutty made his MOF debut last season when he took over for the 3-2 Seattle Seahawks. He finished 9-2 and brought them to the divisional round of the playoffs where he would eventually fall to Mackdaddy's Cardinals. The jury is still out on Kracknutty, but from what we saw so far he looks like he can be a real force in the MOF for a long time to come. The only problem is... he's coaching the Jets. We saw what he could do with a loaded Seattle team, but what will he do with one of the worst teams in the game? Josh McCown looks like he will be the starter, unless Kracknutty can find a deal or start Hackenberg. They made a late trade for Jermaine Kearse of Seattle, but lost Sheldon Richardson in the making. They also lose Darrelle Revis and Nick Mangold, ouch. Not to mention possession receiver Brandon Marshall too. The Jets are rebuilding and it will be very interesting to see what Kracknutty can do with these guys, if he can get the Jets to the playoffs this season, it will be time to start really taking him as a serious threat.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC EAST
At first the AFC East looked like it was all Leet, and the predictions show that but given the recent turn of events, it depends on how many games he will miss due to the hurricane. If he misses more than 2, then Cheefer has a real shot at the division. I expect Miami and New England to be playoff teams, and the Jets to be right there surprising everyone. The Bills have a lot of rebuilding to do.

AFC NORTH
Baltimore Ravens - Coach Remo357 ®
Coaches Last Full Season: N/A
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: N/A
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (0-0) .000
Team's Overall Record: 314-344 (.485)

We are usually good for one or two of these in the beginning of a new game. A pure rookie coach! Coach Remo357 was looking to get into the league last season towards the end but decided to wait it out until Madden '18. Probably a great idea, fresh clean slate to work with. Remo purchased lottery chances and wound up grabbing the highest draft pick for a rookie in Team Draft history with the 6th overall pick, and what did he do? He drafted the Packers, but then traded them to Coach Lhu27 for the Baltimore Ravens. The terms of the deal remain disclosed and that's probably a good thing so Commish doesn't issue any fines. So with that move, Remo jumps into a winnable division, but our motto here is prove to us that you can win first, then we will have confidence in you! The Ravens picked up Brandon Carr and Danny Woodhead in solid off-season moves, also the draft of Marlon Humphrey looks to pay dividends early. They did lose Elvis Dumervil to the 49ers, and Steve Smith to retirement. They still have Breshard Perriman who is a CFM dream, but still have Joe Flacco who is a CFM nightmare! It will be interesting to see how Remo does in his first full season in the MOF, we're all pulling for you.

Cincinnati Bengals - Coach Bengalsonly7
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Cleveland Browns (8-8)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Cleveland Browns (8-8)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (36-59-1) .380
Team's Overall Record: 334-312 (.517)

Finally!! Finally Coach Bengalsonly7 is coaching the Bengals... only. The confusion is now over, no more Bengalsonly coaching the Browns, or Bengalsonly coaching the Eagles, or Bengalsonly not coaching the Bengals. No one is more ecstatic than Coach Bengalsonly who drafted the Bengals in the team draft for Season 42 and beyond. Coach Bo7 (new nickname) had a mediocre time in Cleveland the last two seasons, and overall his record is well under .500 in the MOF. He made some strides over the past two seasons with Cleveland, making some great moves and giving his opponents tough competition. Things will only get easier in Cincinnati, where.. well they just aren't the Browns. The Bengals picked up Kevin Minter in the off-season but that's about it. they drafted John Ross a speedy WR, and lost a couple sold linebackers in Rey Maulauga and Karlos Dansby. With little to no improvement on offense, things are a little scary in Cincinnati. Coach Bo7 is now coaching his favorite team though, and you know the philosophy behind that, when you have your favorite team things tend to go in your favor. I expect the Bengals to be right there when the smoke clears, but they might just fall short.

Cleveland Browns - Coach Sawemoff420
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 San Francisco 49ers (8-8)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 San Francisco 49ers (7-9)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: (17-20) .459
Team's Overall Record: 271-380-2 (.417)

Coach Sawemoff420 returns for Season 42 as he made a puzzling trade when he initially drafted the Cowboys then traded them to Coach Tex for these Browns. Why? Well they are a rebuilding team, and Coach Sawemoff420 is all about that rebuild. The last few seasons he was in San Francisco where he went 8-8 last season, and 7-9 two seasons ago and with that 7-9 record, won the NFC West! In his short MOF career he's 3 games under .500 at 17-20 but he looks to turn that corner with these young Browns. Speaking of which, the Browns made some beautiful draft picks in Myles Garrett, Jabrill Peppers, and Deshone Kizer. They look to make immediate impacts. The trade for Sammie Coates and the signing of Kenny Britt should make Kizer's rookie campaign easier. The Browns lost Joe Haden to division rival Pittsburgh, also let go of Josh McCown and RG3. They lost in what many think to be a blue chip in Terrelle Pryor, and Cornerback Tramon Williams. The Browns have some upside though, like we mentioned they are young, have some cap room, and are ready to compete in a weak division! Let's see if Sawemoff420 can turn these Browns around.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Coach Pettigrew95
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 40 Arizona Cardinals (4-12)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 39 Arizona Cardinals (9-7)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 148-91 (.619)
Team's Overall Record: 353-294-1 (.546)

Pettigrew95 makes his return to the MOF after taking a season off. His last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals were very "un-Pettigrew" like to say the least, either his lost his mojo or just lost interest. Either way he has a chance to regain his glory with one of the best squads in the game. Pettigrew was a Hall of Fame candidate this season, with his .619 win percentage, at 148-91 and 1 Super Bowl Title under his belt. He was awarded a high pick with his lottery purchases, and the Steelers fell into his lap. It's true they lost Sammie Coates, but they signed Justin Hunter and drafted Smith-Schuster to replace him. They also lost defensive icon Lawrence Timmons, and DeAngelo Williams. However, they did sign Joe Haden away from Cleveland. The Steelers didn't need to do much in the off-season since they arguably have the best QB-RB-WR tandum in the MOF. Also don't forget about Martavis Bryant, who is up and coming. As we mentioned Pettigrew is in a winnable division, so the year off rust might not matter here. I think he could either flourish and dominate this division, or we might just see the same thing we saw his last two seasons, mediocrity until he "gets it".

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC NORTH
Like we said, this division is literally up for grabs. Remo is my wild-card because we just don't know anything about him, he might be a juggernaut and win 12 games, or he might fall to the pack and win 5 or 6. The Browns and Bengals also have a shot in my mind to win this division as well, and I see them floating around .500. My X-factor is Pettigrew. He has the resume to be the favorite to win the division, but lately he's fallen off. Which Pettigrew we will see in Pittsburgh?

AFC SOUTH
Houston Texans - Coach Pauly2110

Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 New York Jets (9-7)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 New York Jets (11-5)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 352-175 (.668)
Team's Overall Record: 327-325-1 (.502)

Ladies and gentlemen the most winningest coach in MOF history, has arrived in Houston! Coach Pauly2110 has 352 wins but zero Super Bowl titles! That's an anomaly if I ever saw one. Pauly had the Jets the last few seasons, and last season is the first time he missed the playoffs since Season 32. What does that mean? Nothing really, the last season of a game usually coaches lose interest more than lose talent. However, some question Pauly's management skills, as he picked up some older players during his CFM seasons with the Jets. Anyway, the Texans look to be a force on defense, and that plays exactly into Pauly's hands. They didn't make many moves except for in the draft where they grabbed DeShaun Watson. They also didn't lose too many players of significance, Brock Osweiler and Quintin Demps were the biggest losses. The Texans have a stout defense, and its led by JJ Watt. That's all Pauly really needs to compete, his schemes and adjustments will fit perfectly here and I don't think people really understand how great of a fit this is.

Indianapolis Colts - Coach Natureboy
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 New York Giants (3-13)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 New York Giants (4-12)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 37-92-1 (.288)
Team's Overall Record: 320-331 (.492)

The Natureboy is looking to change his MOF fortunes with a fresh start in Indianapolis. The last few seasons have not been good at all for the Natureboy as he finished 3-13 and 4-12 with the New York Giants. Natureboy has a very poor overall record in his MOF career at 37-92-1 that's a .288 win percentage. Not too great, but you have to give Natureboy credit for sticking with it, never giving up, and playing out his games. It's never easy taking a beating and keep staying. So here he is now with the Colts, who need some help with their roster. They do have Andrew Luck, who if I was him, I'd trade immediately for some draft picks to get this team stronger. They did sign Jabaal Sheard and John Simon to help the LB core, and drafted Tarrell Basham as well. They lost Dwayne Allen to the Patriots which was a pretty surprising move if you ask me. On defense they lost leaders Mike Adams and D'Qwell Jackson. The Colts are in a division where it will be tough to compete, I expect Natureboy to be in the basement until he can really focus on his game play and get his team going. The Natureboy has a little while to go before we can call him a stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun!

Jacksonville Jaguars - Coach BigDre245
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Denver Broncos (6-10)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Denver Broncos (11-5)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 200-104 (.658)
Team's Overall Record: 343-308-1 (.527)

Coach BigDre245 got off the schnide last edition and won his first MOF Superbowl with the Denver Broncos! He also became the first African-American Jewish Eskimo to ever win a Superbowl title too! In all seriousness though, Dre was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2016 and deservingly so. Although Season 41 was not a very good one, finishing 6-10, his overall record is very impressive at 200-104. Now he takes over the Jaguars who have a very impressive young squad. As long as they can figure out the Quarterback situation, they could really compete in this division. The Jaguars signed Calais Campbell, Barry Church and drafted Leanord Fournette in the off-season all very good moves. They did lose lineman Luke Joeckel and Kelvin Beachum, which is never good. They lost Tyson Alualu, Johnathan Cyprien and Prince Amukamara to name a few more. I expect Corey Grant to be a solid player once again, as he always in in the MOF because of his speed. That defense line as well, with Dante Fowler should be a strong point for the Jaguars. I expect Dre to battle Pauly season in and season out for the division title here in the AFC South.

Tennessee Titans - Coach Kalikarpenter
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Los Angeles Rams (6-10)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season:
Season 40 Los Angeles Rams (6-10)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 51-61 (.455)
Team's Overall Record: 309-345 (.472)

Coach Kalikarpenter originally drafted the Chargers but traded them to Coach Gouch for these Titans. Pretty even trade if you ask me, especially since Kali I suppose originally wanted the Titans anyway. The last few seasons have not been great for Kali, especially after his 13-3 rookie campaign back in Season 36 with the Browns. The Rams stint did not go as planned, as he finished 6-10 the last two seasons. But this is a new start in Tennessee, and he has a promising team. Led by Marcus Mariota. The Titans made some moves in the off-season, grabbing division foe's Johnathan Cyprien to play safety, CB Logan Ryan from the Patriots, and Sylvester Williams from Denver. They also signed David King and drafted Cornerback Adoree' Jackson. They did lose what many consider their #1 receiver in Kendall Wright, Tight End Anthony Fasano, and G Chance Warmack. The Titans on paper have a very good team, but with Pauly and Dre in this division, it will be tough to dethrone one of them right away. I think it will take a season or two for Kali to come into his own and maybe compete for a division title.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC SOUTH
To me this is a 2 team race this season, with the Texans and Jaguars. I am leaning towards Pauly being a top team in the conference, so I expect him and the Texans to win this division, but I also expect Dre to bounce back with the Jaguars and make the playoffs too. Look for the Titans and Colts to finish 3rd and 4th respectively. I think the Titans have an upside, and could be a surprise if things fall well.

AFC WEST
Denver Broncos - Coach TBCPlowboy ®

Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Indianapolis Colts (7-2) *Took over team at (4-3)*
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: N/A
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 7-2 (.778)
Team's Overall Record: 349-305 (.534)

TBCPlowboy, what a great name for an MOF coach, I tell you what! TBC took over for the Colts last season when they were 4-3, he finished the season at 7-2 and snuck into the playoffs where he would eventually fall to the current champion Bengals and Coach MrWitness36. Little is really known about Coach TBC and that works in his favor. Instead of the Colts, now he has a different horse this season, the Broncos. Denver added Jamaal Charles in the off-season which really doesn't help in the MOF since his speed has diminished a bit. They also signed DT Domato Peko from Cincinnati. They did lose Russell Okung, offensive tackle. They also lost defenders DeMarcus Ware and Sylvester Williams as well. However the Broncos defense is very good, and the reason they will be competitive. They do have questions at QB and that could really put a damper on their season. I do like TBC, and from the little we saw of him last season, he could be a real tough out.

Kansas City Chiefs - Coach QPeezy35
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Dallas Cowboys (8-8)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Dallas Cowboys (10-6)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 260-172 (.602)
Team's Overall Record: 342-292-1 (.539)

Coach Q is no longer in Dallas! It's weird to see him in the AFC to be honest. Q did draft the Raiders initially but then traded them to Coach Powers a couple days later for the Kansas City Chiefs. Very solid move by a hall of fame coach. Speaking of which, the Cowboys and Q had a good marriage last edition. Season 41 wasnt terrific, as he finished 8-8 but the season before he was 10-6, and Season 39 he was 13-3. However no super bowl appearance, and always a flop in the post-season. Q's career record is very good 260-172 (.602) but his playoff record is is 7-13 with 1 Super Bowl loss. He needs to be a better post-season coach, that is what is hanging below his head. The Chiefs are a very good team, and good fit for Q. They drafted QB Pat Mahomes and it looks like he will get the job in KC. They also signed C.J. Spiller and drafted Week 1 (real life) star RB Kareem Hunt. In the off-season they lost Jamaal Charles, Dontari Poe, Nick Foles, and David King. I don't think these losses will set them back, and I think Kansas City is the favorite to win this division as long as Q can hold his attention to the league!

Los Angeles Chargers – Gouch ®
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Miami Dolphins (4-10) *Took over team at (1-1)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: N/A
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 4-10 (.286)
Team's Overall Record: 316-333 (.487)

Gouch jumped into the MOF last season and lit the league on fire with his first win over Coach Betts' Redskins! He had the league talking and thinking he would be the next big thing... it didn't really turn out that way for Gouch as he went 3-10 in his next 13 games. The rookie showed some poise though and is ready to compete in the AFC West with the new look Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers signed OT Russell Okung in the off-season which was a good pickup, but they did lose some talent in LB Manti Te'o, CB Brandon Flowers, and RB Danny Woodhead. Their defense however still looks great with Bosa and Ingram leading the charge (no pun intended). It's a tough call for Gouch, who really played poorly last season and now has a team that is equal or even worse than Miami. So how will he do? I think he will be towards the bottom of the division until he can prove he can compete with the big boys.

Oakland Raiders - Coach RobPowers
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 19 Baltimore Ravens (6-10)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 14 Green Bay Packers (9-7)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 75-85 (.469)
Team's Overall Record: 304-335 (.476)

Well look what the dog dragged home. Coach Rob F'n Powers is back in the MOF!!! The radio host star hasn't been seen since Season 19 when he went 6-10 with the Baltimore Ravens. Rob's career record is 10 games under .500 but the fact that he's back is what matters most! Powers also has his favorite team, the Oakland Raiders and again a coach with his favorite team is very dangerous. The generosity of in-division rival Qpeezy made it happen when he traded these Raiders for the Chiefs, and now they will battle it out for the division. I believe on paper the Raiders are probably the most talented team in the division with Carr and Cooper leading the offense. The signing of Marshawn Lynch is huge, he's a bruising back with Super Bowl experience and that will really help them control the clock when they need to. I think the Raiders have a shot, but it will be tough. Rob will have to shake the rust off and deal with Q's Chiefs and TCB's Broncos.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC WEST
I think this division has a chance to be pretty close. I still am leaning toward Q's Chiefs as the favorites because of his track record, but the Broncos are my wild-card. He could have a great season and wind up jumping ahead of everyone based on his finish with the Colts last season. You have the Chargers and Raiders who I put a tier below the Chiefs and Broncos, but don't be surprised if RobPowers comes through with the Raiders!!

NFC EAST

Dallas Cowboys - Coach Texmexgalvan

Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Tennessee Titans (2-14)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Tennessee Titans (4-12)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 70-172-2 (.291)
Team's Overall Record: 359-291 (.552)

Texmexgalvan caught a diamond in the rough when he traded the Browns for the Cowboys in the draft. How .. well I'm not going to ask any questions, but the fact of the matter is that Tex now has one of the better teams in the game and it was basically handed to him. Tex had a rough last few seasons coaching the Tennessee Titans, going 2-14 and 4-12 in his last two seasons. His overall record here in the MOF is not a very impressive one, 70-172-2 (.291) he's been here 16 seasons and has never won a playoff game. However some think that can change this season and beyond with these Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys offensive line is second to none, and Ezekiel Elliot is already one of the leagues premier backs. That combined with Dak and Dez, the Cowboys are ready to win now. The addition of CB Nolan Carroll, G Jonathan Cooper, and S Robert Blanton already add depth to a pretty in depth team. Of course they did lose two corners, Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne. They also lost Doug Free and Ronald Leary off the line. Have no fear though, Dallas is still stacked. But can Tex win with them? That's the question, if Tex can't win with the Cowboys then I'm not sure who he can win with.

New York Giants - Coach Enzo
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Philadelphia Eagles (11-5)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season:
Season 40 Philadelphia Eagles (10-6)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 53-63 (.457)
Team's Overall Record: 316-332-2 (.488)

Enzo makes his return to the NFC East where he was coaching the Eagles for the past few seasons. He had alot of success in Philadelphia, last season going 11-5 and then 10-6 in Season 40. Enzo is one of those under the radar coaches who is starting to come into his own. Enzo's overall record is still 10 games under .500 but he has made strides over the past few seasons and is now ready to make some leaps with the solid New York Giants football squad. The Giants made a splash in free-agency, signing WR Brandon Marshall away from the Jets. They drafted a solution for their Tight End woes in Evan Engram. They did not lose many players of significance, as Victor Cruz was cut, and Robbie Gould went to San Francisco. Enzo believes these Giants can compete for a division title, and I do too. They have the weapons and Enzo has the skill to make an impact. It's just competing with the heavy hitters that could hold him back.

Philadelphia Eagles - Mrosado11
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Chicago Bears (6-10)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 38 Philadelphia Eagles (9-7)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 26-25 (.510)
Team's Overall Record: 310-341 (.476)

Coach Rosado made his MOF comeback last season with the Chicago Bears, and although it didn't go as planned as he went 6-10, the main picture was to get into the new game this season, and that's what he did, and he got exactly what he wanted. His Philadelphia Eagles. The last time Rosado coached the Eagles, he went 9-7 and made the playoffs in Season 38, so you can say playing with your team in this situation works out very well for him. The Eagles made some improvements in the off-season, grabbing Alshon Jeffrey from Chicago, LeGarrette Blount from the Patriots, WR Torrey Smith from the 49ers, and DE Chris Long from the Patriots to name a few. They did lose WR Jordan Matthews, CB Leodis McKelvin, DE Connor Barwin, and CB Nolan Carroll. Nothing too significant that would affect too much. Rosado I believe can compete for the division title this season, but will he? The way he played with the Bears puts a sour taste in my mouth, and I don't have confidence that he can immediately turn things around with the Eagles. I think we will see signs of greatness and signs of woefulness.

Washington Redskins - Coach Mackdaddy
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Arizona Cardinals (13-3)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 11 Jacksonville Jaguars (12-4)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 46-18 (.719)
Team's Overall Record: 400-254 (.612)

I have to admit it's strange not seeing Coach Betts with the Redskins. Instead we have Coach Mackdaddy who made his triumphant return last season after a 30 season hiatus. He didn't miss a beat either, his last season before last he went 12-4 with the Jaguars on PS2 in Season 11. What did he do last season? 13-3 with the Cardinals. Very impressive consistency from Mackdaddy, he's just a talented madden player there's no doubt about it. His career record speaks for itself 46-18 (.719) and now he is in a competitive division but a division he is the favorite to win. The Redskins signed Terrelle Pryor in the off-season and it has generated alot of buzz as he has looked very good in camp. They did let go of DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, so hopefully what they have left will fill in okay. The Redskins also improved their linebacking corps by signing Zach Brown and Terrell McClain. The addition of D.J. Swearinger at safety should provide some help over the top as well. The question marks on this team are at QB basically, if Cousins can perform under Mackdaddy they will compete for the NFC crown! If he cannot, then he might fall out of the playoffs all together. I'd tend to believe in the prior (no pun intended).

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC EAST
The Redskins are the favorites and by a wide margin. I think Mackdaddy is better than any other coach in this division by alot. The Eagles and Giants will both fight each other for 2nd place, and possibly have a shot at a wild-card. I expect Tex and the Cowboys to be in the basement, at least this season.

Chicago Bears - Coach MrWitness36 ®

Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Cincinnati Bengals (10-4) *(Took over team at 2-0)* *SEASON 41 SUPER BOWL CHAMPION*
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: N/A
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 10-4 (.714)
Team's Overall Record: 372-280-1 (.570)

The Bears used to be one of the most dominate teams in MOF history. They are still the 2nd best team in MOF history behind the Redskins, but it used to be much closer. However now it looks like the Bears can return to MOF dominance as the Season 41 champion MrWitness36 has come to the Windy City. Coach MrWitness36 had himself a huge welcome season as he came in and took over the 2-0 Bengals, finished 10-4 and went on to win the Super Bowl! All that and he's still considered an MOF rookie because he's only played 14 regular season games! Crazy! The Bears made some moves in the off-season grabbing what they believe to be their QB of the future in Mike Glennon in a trade with Tampa Bay. They also signed a couple receivers in Markus Wheaton and Kendall Wright. In addition to that they signed Tight End Dion Sims as well. They had to make up for the loss of Alshon Jeffrey and Eddie Royal and I believe they did that. They also lost Quarterbacks Jay Cutler and Brian Hoyer in the off-season, which many believe to be "not a big deal" and so do I. The Bears have some talent on offense and defense its just getting the correct coach in here to guide them, which I think they have. I think the Bears will compete for the division crown season in and season out.

Detroit Lions - Coach Hovadagod_23

Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 100-239 (.295)

Coach Hova had himself quite a failed Madden '17 where we saw him coach the Patriots, one of the best teams in the game year in and year out. The last two seasons saw Hova finish 4-12 and 6-10 respectively. Hova's overall record here in the MOF is not very pretty, he finally won his 100th game last season, but he also has 239 losses. A winning percentage of .295 over 22 seasons. That's longevity at its finest! There's nothing we want to see more than for Hova to win some games, but he definitely picked the wrong division to do that. The Detroit Lions have a pretty solid squad, with Stafford and Tate. They also signed Guard TJ Lang to help with the line. On defense they signed MLB Paul Worrilow away from the Falcons, and DT Akeem Spence to make up for the loss of DeAndre Levy. They also signed D.J. Hayden from the Raiders to help with that secondary. However there's not much that is going to help you against coaches like Jonesy, Dolan, and MrWitness. Hova is in a gauntelt division and I'd really be surprised if he won more than 4 games season in and season out. Something will have to go catastrophically wrong for Hova to compete in this division, no offense.

Green Bay Packers - Coach Lhu27

Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 158-93-1 (.629)

Coach Lhu27 is back for some more sets of seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Better known as Dolan, he led the Packers to some very good seasons last edition, including his last two seasons where he finished 10-6 and 11-5. With the best QB in the MOF Aaron Rodgers, it's tough not to win games. Dolan is a hall of fame coach, and the MOF Trophy is named after him, so his legacy is continuing on here in Green Bay. His career record is very solid boasting a .629 winning percentage with 158 wins, 93 losses, and 1 tie. He looks to continue his success in one of the toughest divisions we've seen in a long time. But that's the thing with Dolan, he welcomes competition. On to the Packers, they did not do much in the off-season at all. They signed Tight End Martellus Bennett away from the Pats, and lost Tight End Jared Cook. They also signed Ricky Jean-Francois, and Jahri Evans. They did lose Eddie Lacy and James Starks and that puts some pressure on Ty Montgomery to the be the featured back. The receiving corps of the Packers is their strong suite. Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, and Jeff Janis round out a very dangerous corps. Mike Daniels, Clay Matthews, and Nick Perry are solid front 7 guys. The loss of Sam Shields in the secondary hurts them a bit, but the safeties should make up for it in Clinton-Dix and Burnett. The Packers will be there when the smoke clears, its just what place will he be in?

Minnesota Vikings - Coach WLJones228

eam's Overall Record: 280-368-4 (.433)

Good ole' Jonesy! Every league needs a heel and Jonesy seems to be the man here in the MOF. You have to love to hate him, as he boasts the best winning percentage in MOF history through his short 6 seasons here. He is 67-14 that's an .827 winning percentage. He also has 2 super bowl rings in 6 seasons. This is why he was "screwed" in the MOF team draft. He originally wanted the Panthers, but they were drafted ahead of him then traded to Dpanther, so thats why Jonesy is now here in Minnesota. Jonesy had a great edition in Madden '17 with the Chargers, who are now the LA Chargers, he went 11-5 last season and 14-2 in Season 40 which included his Super Bowl title. The Vikings are a dangerous team, and in the hands of Jonesy they are a super bowl contender. The loss of Adrian Peterson really won't be felt, as they drafted Dalvin Cook to replace him. They also signed Latavius Murray, so their run game is now stronger without him. The Vikings offensive line will be hurting a little bit with the loss of Matt Kalil, they did sign Riley Reiff to take his spot but there will be some growing pains. The quarterback situation could be better, because when you have 3 quarterbacks you have no quarterbacks. Sam Bradford, Teddy Bridgewater, and the newly signed RG3 will all be battling for that #1 spot. The receivers of the Vikings have some speed, and that's Jonesy's game. Stefon Diggs, Adam Theilen, and Michael Floyd present a nice tandum. Kyle Rudolph is a great redzone weapon as well. The defensive line of the Vikings is very strong with Danielle Hunter, Everson Griffen, and Linval Joseph leading the way. Anthony Barr has been moved to MLB, and Eric Kendricks to ROLB. Travis Feeney is also an underrated pick up at LOLB. Xavier Rhoes and Tramaine Brock are one of the best CB duos in the league, you put Harrison Smith in the mix, and you have one of the best defensive backfields in the MOF. I think Jonesy will be the favorite to win this division, but it wont be easy with Dolan and MrWitness in here too. Either way, these guys will be a perennial playoff team.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC NORTH
Best division in the MOF hands down. You have 5 MOF Super Bowl rings in one spot. I am giving the slight edge to Jonesy in this division because of his shear dominance in his career here. No one has yet to solve him and he will probably win another ring or two in Madden '18 too. If anyone was going to stop him though, it would be Dolan and the Packers. Dolan has a way of breaking things down and finding weaknesses. Don't forget the Bears and the defending champ MrWitness. They will also be right there when it's said and done. I believe we will see 3 teams in the playoffs out of this division season in and season out. Coach Hova, god bless ya.

Atlanta Falcons - Coach BigReg
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Minnesota Vikings (8-8)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Minnesota Vikings (12-4)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 41-36-1 (.559)
Team's Overall Record: 311-342-1 (.476)

BigReg finally got his Falcons! After purchasing 100 lottery balls, and making demands to pay a ransom for the #1 pick, BigReg actually landed the #1 pick and grabbed his boys. Last seasons he was coaching the Vikings, and had himself up and down seasons. His best season was Season 40 where he went 12-4 and won the division. Last season not that great as he finished 8-8. BigReg's MOF career sees him at 41-36-1 just above .500 with a .559 win percentage. That should improve now that he is in his comfort zone in Hotlanta. The Falcons didn't really do too much in the off-season, but they did lose their fullback Patrick DiMarco which might do some harm. The offensive line of the Falcons is very very solid, probably the best spot on the team. With Jake Matthews, Andy Levitre, Alex Mack, Ryan Wendell, and Ryan Schraeder, these guys don't have anyone under 78 on their starting line. Of course Matt Ryan takes the helm at QB and he is one of the best QBs in the game. Runningbacks are also a strong spot on the Falcons, as they have Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman splitting the load. Julio Jones stars in their receiving corps which also includes Muhammed Sanu, Taylor Gabriel, and Andre Roberts. Austin Hooper rounds out their offense at Tight End, and what an offense these guys have! Vic Beasley and Adrian Clayborn start at DE for the Falcons and newly signed Dontari Poe is at DT along with Grady Jarrett. The linebackers could use some improvement, as the loss of Paul Worrilow will hurt them a bit. Deion Jones is the top rated linebacker on the team, followed by Brooks Reed. Desmond Trufant is a blue chip Corner and he's joined by Jalen Collins and Robert Alford, in a very good 3-some at CB. Keanue Neal and Ricardo Allen are the starting safeties. The Falcons have what it takes to compete now and for a while, BigReg knows his team inside and out and I would be surprised if he didn't win this division or make the post-season.

Carolina Panthers - Coach Dpanther95
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Carolina Panthers (2-14)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Carolina Panthers (6-10)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 141-280 (.335)
Team's Overall Record: 305-348-1 (.467)

Dpanther is entering his 28th season in the MOF and that is extremely impressive. Dpanther of course had the Panthers in Madden '17 and although he didn't win many games, he would pull off a surprising victory now and again. Dpanther's overall record here in the MOF is not very good, it's not the worst, but he will probably be the first coach to 300 losses in MOF history. His career record is 141-280 (.335). But just like Hova, that doesn't mean a thing. Dpanther is here for the long haul, and he's been a huge staple to this league for a very very long time. Now the Panthers come into this season a very talented bunch, there is alot of hype around RB Christian McCaffrey for good reason. The offensive line of the Panthers got a nice boost as they signed Matt Kalil away from the Vikings. Sprinkle in Andrew Norwell, Ryan Kalil, Trai Turner, and Taylor Moton and you have a pretty solid offensive line. Of course you have Cam Newton at QB one of the stronger QBs in the game, but we just learned while writing this column that he suffered an injury against the 49ers that will put him out a few weeks, so Derek Anderson will have to come up big. We mentioned Christian McCaffrey already at RB, but the starter is still Jonathan Stewart, at 30 years young he can still move the rock. At receiver the Panthers have Kelvin Benjamin, who also got hurt against the 49ers, other than that they are a little weak at this spot. Greg Olsen is still doing his thing at tight end as well rated a whopping 99 in the game! On defense the Panthers got back Julius Peppers and put him on the line along with Charles Johnson and Mario Addison. Kawann Short is one of the best DT's in the game and Star Lotulelei is a nice 2nd option as well. Linebackers are absolutely sick on the Panthers, you got Shaq Thompson, Luke Kuechly, and Thomas Davis Sr. Wowser! The Panthers also resigned Captain Munnerlyn to play CB along side James Bradberry and newly signed Kevon Seymour. Kurt Coleman and Mike Adams round out their safety positions. Every season we wait for Dpanther to break out, and the way this season already started with two huge injuries it doesn't look so good already. We are hoping he can compete, and in this division it could be a possibility down the road.

New Orleans Saints - Coach MrRoclo
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Buffalo Bills (11-5)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season:
Season 40 Buffalo Bills (12-4)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 159-140 (.532)
Team's Overall Record: 360-292 (.552)

MrRoclo has left his Buffalo Bills for the big easy, New Orleans and that was probably a good idea. He wasn't taking those Bills over the top like he should have been. He did have some nice seasons in Buffalo, the last two in particular finishing 11-5 and 12-4. Roc is having a late resurgence in his MOF career moving himself 19 games over .500 at 159-140. We believe Roc drafted the Saints to be in the same division as Jfon and build an already nice rivalry that these two have off the field. Just last season Roc and Jfon had themselves an exhibition best of 7 game series. But this time it counts! The Saints lost Jahri Evans, who has been on the team for a long time. Their offensive line is still very solid with Terron Armstead (86), Zach Strief (87), Max Unger (85), Larry Warford (87), and Ryan Ramcyzk (81). Drew Brees of course is Drew Brees, lets just see how long he lasts before he retires on Roclo. The runningback situation is a little dicey under Roc, as Adrian Peterson looks to be the premier back and at the age of 32, we're not sure if he can carry the load like he used to. The trade of Mark Ingram to the Redskins right before the franchise started made it clear that they want AP to be the man. At receiver, the loss of Brandin Cooks hurts, there's no doubt about that. They did sign Ted Ginn but that will not make up for Cooks. Michael Thomas and Willie Snead will have to pick up the slack left by Cooks. Coby Fleener looks to continue to be a solid target for Drew Brees and this offense. The defensive line is led by Cameron Jordan who is rated a 94, the next best lineman on the team is Nick Fairley, a DT. Linebacker unit is hurting as well, the highest rated player is a 77 in newly acquired Manti Te'o. The secondary lost Kenny Vaccaro in a trade to the Jaguars, and you have to wonder what Roc is doing so early trading away prime pieces. He's hoping Delvin Breaux, Sterling Moore, Rafael Bush, and Marcus Williams can provide secondary power. Roc is one of those wild-cards that I talk about alot. He made some interesting moves, more like a "build for the future" kind of thing, but why do that when you can win now with this roster? Roc has the talent to compete for a division, but he's going to have to beat Big Reg's Falcons in those head to heads.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Coach Jfon

Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 192-222 (.464)

Congratulations to the 2017 Hall of Fame inductee Coach Jfon! Well deserved dedication on and off the field makes Jfon worthy of the HOF induction. Now onto the field. JFon had the Bucs last season, well he has the damn Bucs every season doesn't he? The last few seasons have been very bad for Jfon, the worst its been in a while. Season 40 was his worst season of his MOF career when he finished 2-14. Last season he was 6-10 but that was such an improvement that he wont comeback coach of the year *giggle*. So what makes you think he can turn things around in Madden '18? Well the more you play, the better you are. Jfon seems to be playing alot, lobbing for staff, scrimmaging, and exhibition games. So he has to improve on last season. With the addition of DeSean Jackson, he now has a deep threat too. First we break down the offensive line. Only two players on the line are rated over an 80. That would be Center Ali Marpet and Right Tackle Demar Dotson. The rest are in the 70s, and that's not a good sign. The quarterback situation is solid, Jameis Winston is an up and coming star but there is no longer a backup plan as Mike Glennon was traded to the Bears in the off-season. Instead they signed Ryan Fitzpatrick for a "just in case" option. The runningbacks department lack a little bit of speed, but not talent. Doug Martin is still in his prime and Charles Sims is a great secondary. You look at receivers and this is where the Bucs are very strong Mike Evans and the above mentioned DeSean Jackson give Winston great dangerous weapons. Tight ends Cameron Brate and OJ Howard also give Winston some safety blankets as well. On the defensive side of the ball the Bucs defensive like is average, led by Gerald McCoy at DT, and Robert Ayers at DE. Levonte David leads a decent linebacker unit with Kwon Alexander and Kendell Beckwith. Brent Grimes is a true #1 CB and Vernon Hargreaves provides coverage on the opposite side. The two safety spots are solid for the Bucs with Keith Tandy and TJ Ward starting. The Bucs are Jfon's babies, and he knows them better than anyone. We expect pretty much the same result from Jfon, although don't be surprised if one season he goes 10-6 and then 1-15 the next. He's very inconsistent but we do know that he's a first half of the season team!

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC SOUTH
I believe this is a two team race this season. I like the Falcons to edge out the Saints only because I don't know what Roc is really doing getting rid of Ingram and Vaccaro, maybe he's tanking? I don't know, but I give the edge to the Falcons with the Saints right behind him. The rivalry between Dpanther and Jfon will continue as the who the hell will be in 3rd place contest begins.

Arizona Cardinals - Coach Trigrdan

Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Atlanta Falcons (6-10)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Atlanta Falcons (6-10)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 258-214 (.547)
Team's Overall Record: 257-395 (.394)

Coach Trig is back with Arizona, where he found alot of success in Season 24, winning the division. We usually call this "The Arizona Challenge" but the Cardinals have been getting better and better and it's not really a challenge anymore to select them in the team draft. Trig had the Falcons in Madden '17 and after his Super Bowl season in Season 38, losing to Dre's Broncos, it was all downhill after that. Finishing 8-8, and then 6-10 twice. Trig is usually a strong competitor and I think he will regain his mojo with the Arizona Cardinals. Speaking of which, the Cardinals signed Karlos Dansby and Jarvis Jones in the offseason and drafted Haasan Reddick to solidify their linebacking unit. The offensive line is where we will start though, and if you look at Left Tackle, this is a glaring hole for the Cardinals. D.J. Humphries on paper is your starting LT rated at 74. Mike Iupati is at LG rated an 82, A.Q. Sipley at C (82), Alex Boone is at RG rated an 83, and Jared Veldheer at right tackle rated an 86. I'm not sure if there was talks of moving Veldheer to LT, but it should be taken into consideration. Carson Palmer enters another season as the Cardinals starting QB, but how long will he last? He's probably one more injury away from calling it a career, and its not a necessity this season, but Coach Trig will have to address this soon. David Johnson is at RB and is arguably the best RB in the game with his 93 AGI and 92 SPD. Watch out for T.J. Logan as a spell back. Larry Fitzgerald leads the receiving team, but again, for how long? He's 34 years old and not getting any faster. John Brown makes up for what Fitzgerald lacks in speed and Jason Brown is not too shabby either. Jermaine Gresham locks down the Tight End position. The defensive line took a big hit when they lost Calais Campbell to the Jaguars, its left a big hole on the line because now the highest rated lineman is Robert Nkemdiche at a 79. The linebackers make up for the weak defensive line, with Chandler Jones leading the pack. Deone Buchanon and Karlos Dansby are in the middle and Markus Golden at the other OLB side. Patrick Peterson still one of the best corners in the game and will have to lock it down for the Cardinals who really lack a 2nd tier CB. Tyrann Mathieu of course one of the best safeties in the league still starting over at FS and Tyvon Branch and Antoine Bethea will split SS duties. The Cardinals have talent, they are not what they used to be for sure, but Trig can compete with these guys, we think, as long as we see the Season 38/39 Trig and not the Season 40/41 Trig.

Los Angeles Rams - Coach DoubleD187
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 New Orleans Saints (11-5)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 New Orleans Saints (13-3)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 43-17 (.717)
Team's Overall Record: 306-349 (.467)

Coach DoubleD187 takes his talents to Los Angeles after the last few seasons in New Orleans, which saw back to back Super Bowl appearances, but back to back Super Bowl losses! Can he continue his success in Los Angeles? DoubleD187 came into the league in Season 38 where he took over a 1-3 team. Since then he's been one of the best coaches in the league, boasting a 43-17 record, that's a .717 winning percentage. That has to be taken into consideration when predicting Season 42. The Rams made some nice moves, picking up Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods both from Buffalo. They also signed Connor Barwin and Andrew Whitworth. Speaking of the offensive line, as we mentioned Whitworth is a 92 rated LT, one of the tops in the game. They do not have much depth on the line, carrying just 7 offensive lineman, that might come back to haunt them, but the ones they do have are pretty solid Saffold (80), Sullivan (82), Brown (74), and Havenstein (78). Jared Goff looks to be the starter and is ready to develop. His weapons include RB Todd Gurley who will take the bulk of the carries. Sammy Watkins was a big move coming over from Buffalo and he turns into the new #1 WR, Tavon Austin and Robert Woods are good speed options in the slot and #2 spot. Tight End is a little weak with Gerald Everett looking to get the starting job. The defensive line of the Rams is their strongest point, with blue chipper Aaron Donald at RE, one of the best defensive players in the league. Michael Brockers and Tyrunn Walker are at DT, and Ethan Westbrooks is at LE. Robert Quinn has been moved to ROLB  and he is opposite of newly signed Connor Barwin. Alec Ogeltree and Mark Barron are in the middle. The secondary of the Rams are average, with Trumaine Johnson as the #1 CB rated at 84. Darrelle Revis was a late signing for Coach DoubleD and will man the #2 CB spot. Lamarcus Joyner and Maurice Alexander are the starting safeties. DoubleD is one of the better user coaches in the league, so his MLB's will have some picks and he will make alot of plays, thats what makes him so dangerous. I believe DoubleD's Rams should be the favorite to win this division until other coaches prove they can consistently keep up with him.

San Francisco 49ers - Coach Commissioner Dypko
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Pittsburgh Steelers (5-11)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 336-269 (.555)
Team's Overall Record: 347-307 (.531)

Commissioner Dypko is back where he belongs, in San Francisco! This will mark the 7th time Commish has controlled his team, the 49ers. Last edition he had the Pittsburgh Steelers, and He had a 10-6, 7-9, 11-5, and 5-11 campaign. He turned Ryan Shazier into an absolute beast, and competed well when he was engaged into his team. Commish has always been a little above average, at 336-269 (.555) he has the 2nd most wins in MOF history, right behind Pauly, but when you play basically every season of existence you will turn out the most wins (and most losses is close too). The 49ers are not a very strong team, we know this. However Commish made a splash by re-signing Colin Kaepernick in his first move as Coach. The offensive line needs work, big time. LT Joe Staley is the best lineman on the team rated at an 87.  Then you have Zane Beadles at LG (76), C Daniel Kilgore (76), RG Brandon Fusco (73) - although I think Laken Tomlinson will prob take this job, and at RT they have Trent Brown (77) so this will be something Commish has to improve if he wants a successful run game. As we mentioned above, Kaepernick looks to get the starting job at QB but Brian Hoyer is waiting in the wings if anything were to go wrong. This is also somethign the 49ers must improve on. Runningback is pretty solid, with Carlos Hyde getting most of the carries, but speedy Raheem Mostert getting some spelly carries. They also have Matt Brieda and Joe Williams to get some touches too. The nice signing of FB Kyle Juszyck will help in both the run game and pass game. The signing of Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin immediately give them a #1 and #2 WR as they lost Torrey Smith in the off-season. Aldrick Robinson is a pretty nice slot WR as well. TE they drafted a kid named George Kittle who looks to be the starter and Logan Paulsen the 2nd string TE. The 49ers will be running a 3-4 so Aaron Lynch looks to start at LE along with Arik Armstead getting some time on the field as well. Right End is rookie Solomon Thomas who made an impact in his first game already, and at DT you have DeForest Buckner. Linebackers are pretty nice in San Francisco, Malcolm Smith was moved to LOLB, NoVorro Bowman is the starter at MLB, and rookie Reuben Foster is the 2nd MLB. Brock Coyle is also ready if anyone of them go down. At ROLB the 49ers have their free-agent prize Elvis Dumervil! Cornerbacks on this team need an upgrade as well, the highest rated is a 77 in Rashard Robinson. Jimmie Ward and Eric Reid are at SS and FS respectively. Commish can compete, we already know this. It's just how much time does he have to put into his team? With the newborn here, his time will be diminishing but he made a vow to the league to keep it on top, and so far in the week that his baby boy has been here, the MOF has not missed a beat! Given that, I think the 49ers are at best a 2nd place team maybe 3rd, fighting with the Rams and Seahawks.

Seattle Seahawks - Coach Krayzie300
Coaches Last Full Season: Season 41 Jacksonville Jaguars (7-8-1)
Coaches 2nd Last Full Season: Season 40 Jacksonville Jaguars (11-5)
Coaches Overall Regular Season Record: 169-209-1 (.447)
Team's Overall Record: 352-298-2 (.541)

Coach Krayzie300 came into his own last edition of Madden. It started with Season 38 where he went 8-8 with the Jaguars, we know something was happening. Then in Season 39 it happened, Krayzie won the division at 11-5. Season 40 he did the same thing, 11-5 and made the post-season! Last season didn't really go as planned at 7-8-1 but Krayzie made it known that he will be a force from here on out. His career record is 169-209-1 that is a .447 winning percentage, but like we said, his recent MOF tenure has been much better than his past (maybe because he didn't have the Vikings, just sayin). So this edition of Madden Krayzie has selected the Seattle Seahawks, who are straight up beasts. In the off-season they traded for DT Sheldon Richardson, in a huge move to bolster even more a great defense. Offensive line is where we will start in Seattle. The addition of Luke Joeckel solidifies up LG which was a little bit of a problem on this team, and Justin Britt (82) will be at LT. The loss of Max Unger still hasn't been dealt with at Center, and right now they have Ethan Pocic (76) in the starting role. At RG they have Oday Aboushi (77) and finshing off the starting 5 at RT is Matt Tobin (75). So there's no doubt that the offensive line of the Seahawks are one of the weak points. What's not a weak point however is Quarterback. One of the tops in the league, and definitely the cream of the crop in the west, Russell Wilson is ready to make an impact in Season 42. Many believe the Seahawks also didn't replace Marshawn Lynch yet, but the signing of Eddie Lacy should give them the bruising RB that they missed last season. Thomas Rawls looks to get the starting job once again with his 90 speed and 88 ACC. Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett are very nice receivers and Paul Richardson will be a very good slot guy with a lot of speed. Jimmy Graham is Krayzie's safety net at TE and I expect big things out of him this season. The defense is where my chops are licked here. Left End is Frank Clark, a 24 year old speedster (84), at Right End is the All-Pro Michael Bennett (93 overall), and now at DT is Sheldon Richardson (89 overall). Very very solid defensive line , that will be tough to run on. The linebackers are even more solid, Cliff Avril moves over to LOLB (85 overall), Bobby Wagner is one of the top MLBs in the game rated at 96 and K.J. Wright is at ROLB (90 overall). Wow.. what a front 7. Not done yet, the secondary is arguably also the best in the MOF. With Richard Sherman and DeShawn Snead at CB. Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor return as Legion of Boom members ready to lay down the law. The Seahawks on paper are excellent, everywhere but offensive line, will that matter? Yes I think it will. The run game will suffer, but I think Seattle and Krayzie has a chance at this division, but they could also finish 4th... I like to say he has a shot at wild-card for sure.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC WEST
This is actually a very competitive division, but DoubleD has proven that he is one of the elite coaches in the MOF and until he isn't he will be predicted as such. So I'm taking the Rams to win this division, and the 49ers and Seahawks to closely battle for a wild-card spot. The Cardinals could be a dark horse, but by the way Trig was playing his last few seasons in Atlanta, I think that might follow him this season into Season 42.
