SEASON 38 - SEASON PREDICTIONS

Welcome once again ladies and gentlemen to the annual MOF Season predictions. We are officially ready to begin a fresh franchise with a fresh new game, Madden '17. This will be the first time the MOF has started from the get go with a CFM style league, so this should be interesting!

The MOF is coming off a great set of seasons, with the last one being Season 37. Rookie Coach WLJones228 took the Panthers all the way to the title as they beat Pauly's Chiefs, which marks Pauly's 5th Super Bowl appearance and 5th Super Bowl loss! The MOF was saddened by the losses of Leetpenith and Beast10790, both perennial picks to get to the big dance every single season. So that means we will start to have some new dominant faces around here, and we cant wait to see who emerges in their absence! Without further ado, here are your Season 38 MOF Predictions.

AFC EAST
Buffalo Bills - Coach MrRoclo

Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Tennessee Titans (9-7)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (119-116) .506
Team's Overall Record: 281-293 (.490)

Roclo had two 9-7 seasons and one 4-12 season in Madden '16 and now he has drafted the Buffalo Bills. The Bills lost Mario Williams, which might be a bigger deal than they make it. They replaced him with Shaq Lawson out of the draft, so hopefully he doesn't miss a beat there. Roclo picked the Bills kind of high, so we're wondering what the reason was for that. His overall record is just above .500 with a 119-116 overall mark. I believe if he puts the time in, Roc can be a heavy hitter in the AFC. However, that is what separates the good from the great. If Roclo puts the work in, he can make that jump this season. As far as winning this division, it all comes down to how he can play with what he has. We all know the Jets and Pauly will be up towards the top, so the games vs the Jets will be the determining factor.

Miami Dolphins - Coach Ukcat98
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 32 Cincinnati Bengals (9-7)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (101-121) .455
Team's Overall Record: 286-303 (.486)

The Miami Dolphins had quite a busy offseason. They added Mario Williams, to replace Olivier Vernon but they also lost Lamar Miller and Brent Grimes to name a few. They also added Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell to bolster their defense. Coach Ukcat98 also makes his return to the MOF after a few seasons off. This will be his first taste of MOF CFM and we're really curious to see how he does. Ukcat has a career record a little bit under .500 and has only won 3 playoff games in his 14 seasons here in the MOF. He looks to turn that around with these Phins. He's in a very tough division, with a team that is struggling to find an identity. They did sign Arian Foster, which wasn't a key addition, but could be. We don't expect much out of Ukcat this season, but hopefully he can turn this team into a contender.

New England Patriots - Coach Hovadagod_23
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Arizona Cardinals (2-14)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (79-196) .287
Team's Overall Record: 279-302-2 (.480)

Coach Hova's Madden '16 experience was not the best. Hova had some serious problems managing his team towards the end, and went from 6-10, to 3-13, to 2-14 with a very good Arizona Cardinals team. Now he has the New England Patriots, one of the best teams in the game. Sure they lost Chandler Jones, but they signed Chris Long and Martellius Bennett along side Rob Gronkowski, that makes them a huge red zone dominant team. However the lack of Hova's skill might come into play in this division. It will be hard to beat coaches like Pauly and Roclo, he could compete with Ukcat for a little while, but he's going to have to turn into the most improved coach of the year if he's going to challenge for the AFC East.

New York Jets – Coach Pauly2110
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Kansas City Chiefs (14-2)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (303-161) .653
Team's Overall Record: 308-284 (.520)

Pauly is the 2nd coach to win 300 games in his MOF career, the other only being the Commissioner. Pauly's accolades are incredibly impressive and Madden '16 was no different. Going 11-5, 14-2 and 14-2 again, he had an amazing 3-season run with the Chiefs. Unfortunately this did not equal a ring. Pauly lost his 5th career Super Bowl last season to the Panthers and Coach Jonesy. So what gives? Are the Jets the answer? If anyone knows Pauly he is a die hard Patriots fan, so taking the Jets is something that really surprises us. Onto the Jets, they lost alot. D'Brickashaw and Snacks are two huge losses. However the addition of Ryan Clady and Matt Forte should help the offense. The defense is still very good, and Pauly is the mastermind of the defensive side of the ball. Regardless of the Pats fan coaching the Jets, these guys are the favorite of the AFC East. Pauly will always be the favorite, no matter where he goes, let's see if he can live up to the hype and possibly bring home a ring.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC EAST
Pauly's division to lose. As long as he comes out and plays his style of ball he will win 12 games easy. I believe Roclo is the 2nd best coach in this division, and has some talent on his roster too. I could see him competing for a wild-card spot. I think Miami and New England will be battling for 3rd place, with both teams losing double digit games.

AFC NORTH
Baltimore Ravens - Coach CheeferD
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Denver Broncos (8-8)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (132-94) .584
Team's Overall Record: 286-298 (.490)

Coach Cheef has selected the Baltimore Ravens for Season 38. Cheef had the Broncos in Madden '16 and had a very successful three seasons there. 8-8, 12-4 and 13-3. He went down in wins every season, but was consistently a tough team to beat. This season he has the Ravens, who are obviously not as talented as the Broncos and that defense, however Cheef with Elvis Dumervil will be a treat to watch. The Ravens signed Mike Wallace in the off-season to make up for the loss of Torrey Smith a couple years ago, and hopefully that can give them that deep threat along with Breshard Perriman who is always a video game potential MVP. The QB position might need an upgrade, as Flacco comes in at an 82 overall. Their run game also isn't anything to shake a stick at, so the offense might struggle a bit. Cheef is a veteran though, so im sure he will find a way to win games with these guys, but it wont be as easy as it was in Denver.

Cincinnati Bengals - Coach Srt4thatass
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Indianapolis Colts (2-14)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (4-34) .105
Team's Overall Record: 297-285 (.510)

Coach Alex Pando better known as Srt4thatass has not had the success that he wish he would have in his early MOF career. Boasting a 4-34 career record, he looks to turn his career around in Cincinnati for Madden '17. Last season he went 2-14 with the Colts, where he let Andrew Luck go in free-agency, so his GM skills might be slacking a little bit. The Bengals enter this season without Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones, two good receivers along side AJ Green. However, they did sign Brandon Lafell to fill that void. Another big loss was Leon Hall, a veteran CB. Given the track record of Coach Pando, i think it might take a little while for him to find success in Cincinnati, even though they are a very talented team. I look for him to be in the basement of this division at least for this season.

Cleveland Browns - Coach Bengalsonly7
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Philadelphia Eagles (5-11)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: (11-21) .344
Team's Overall Record: 246-342-1 (.419)

Coach Bengalsonly7 coached the Eagles the last 3 seasons, and now is coaching the Browns this season... very confusing. Anyway, Bengalsonly's first season was Season 36 where he went 6-10 with the Eagles. Last season he went 5-11 and so far his MOF career has been lackluster. But this time he gets to start from scratch with the Browns, who are one of the worst teams in the league, but thats the beauty of CFM he can build them into winners. It will be interesting to see if RG3 can return to MOF dominance like he did in Washington. This is a tough division, with some good teams, but i think the Browns could do some damage if they get hot and build their team the right way. Don't forget, Season 36 Coach Bengalsonly had the Eagles at 6-5 at one point. I still think they are a 3rd place team at best, and if things go really well they might be able to steal 2nd from the Ravens or Steelers.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Coach MOF Commissioner
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Atlanta Falcons (10-6)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 303-238 (.560)
Team's Overall Record: 320-263-1 (.549)

Commish has decided to take his talents to the steel city of Pittsburgh. His last 3 seasons in Atlanta were average to say the least, last season of course he finished 10-6 but just missed out on the playoffs. He's one of two coaches with 300 career MOF wins, understandably so, he has the most games played. The Steelers are one of the best teams in the game and it will be difficult to lose with them. With the addition of Ladarius Green at Tight End, that makes their offense that much more dangerous. Ryan Shazier will automatically be an MVP candidate with the MLB skills of the good ole Commish. Barring any catastrophic injuries, the Steelers have to be one of the favorites to win the division.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC NORTH
I believe this is a two team race with the Ravens and Steelers, whoever wins those games head to head will have the advantage, with the other team struggling to earn a wild-card spot. The Browns and Bengals will be fighting for 3rd place.

AFC SOUTH
Houston Texans - Coach Shawtypizzle

Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Buffalo Bills (10-6)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 30-33 (.476)
Team's Overall Record: 283-305-1 (.481)

Coach Shawty is one season removed from winning the whole thing, and what a surprise that was. He had a pretty good follow up season 37, finishing 10-6 and winning the division once again with Buffalo, however he was bounced out of the wild-card round by Qpeezy. Shawty originally drafted the Browns but Houston became available in the partial re-draft and Shawty pounced on them. Houston had some key additions including Brock Osweiler, Lamar Miller, and Antonio Allen. They did loose Arian Foster and Rahim Moore, but the base of their team is basically the same. These guys should be a dangerous team especially with the former champ at the helm.

Indianapolis Colts - Coach Ygold90 ®
Coach's Last Full Season: Rookie
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: Rookie
Team's Overall Record: 290-297 (.494)

Not much is known about rookie coach YGold, the only thing we know is that he has the Colts. Who are a pretty decent team. Andrew Luck is a top notch QB in Madden, and Frank Gore still has a lot left in the tank. TY Hilton is a great receiver with a lot of speed, and these guys can be very dangerous. However, when dealing with a rookie, you know that the MOF is a "show me" before we give any kind of benefit of the doubt. So i expect the Colts to struggle a bit, and be towards the bottom of the division. Losing LB Jerrell Freeman will hurt alot more than they think, and losing Fleener will also hurt these guys.

Jacksonville Jaguars - Coach Krayzie300
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Minnesota Vikings (9-7)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 132-183 (.419)
Team's Overall Record: 306-282 (.520)

Season 36 saw the return of Coach Krayzie with the Minnesota Vikings, his hometown team. He went 3-13 and had a disappointing return, and in Season 37 he turned things around and finished 9-7 and just missed out on a playoff berth. Season 38 he originally drafted the Eagles, but then traded them to the very persistent Coach Mrosado11 for these Jaguars. The Jaguars had themselves a superb Season 35, 36, and 37 under Coach Leet, including a Superbowl ring. Can Krayzie duplicate that success? It's going to be difficult, but if the cards fall right, he could absolutely contend for this division. They have the weapons with the additions of Chris Ivory, and Prince Amukamara. We will all be rooting for Krayzie to get to the post-season.

Tennessee Titans - Coach Texmexgalvan
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 New York Jets (5-11)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 53-125-2 (.298)
Team's Overall Record: 292-298 (.495)

Coach Texmex (now known as Childofgod4life) took over the Jets Season 37 and went 5-11. The team was pretty much changed over by good ole Coach Frizz, so these werent the same Jets that we saw from jump. Tex originally drafted the Saints, but after the partial re-draft they switched to the Titans. They have the better upside in my opinion, with Mariota, Murray and company. They are definitely in an easier division, and if they can get off to a hot start, they definitley have a chance to compete for the division. The loss of Michael Griffin hurts, but i think they will be fine in that department.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC SOUTH
This is a tough division to predict, of course the favorite has to be the only super bowl champion Shawtypizzle. However, i think the Titans and Jaguars will have something to say about this division when its all said and done. I cannot give a solid prediction on the Colts, but they do have a pretty solid team. Im going to give the edge to Houston, but it will be close.

AFC WEST
Denver Broncos - Coach BigDre245

Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 San Francisco 49ers (11-5)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 161-78 (.674)
Team's Overall Record: 311-279 (.527)

Big Bad Dre is back and this time with a Big Bad defense! The Broncos boast one of , if not , the best defense in Madden '17 and with Dre behind the wheel that's baaad news for the rest of the MOF. The last edition of Madden saw Dre take his favorite squad, the 49ers. He made the playoffs two out of the three seasons, but had Beast to deal with in the NFC West. This time, no more beast, but he does have a pretty tough division to deal with. The Broncos lost Danny Trevathen, lost Peyton, obviously that hurts, and losing Osweiler hurts too. But a franchise QB isnt something that they need right now, their run game and their defense will propel them to victory, and they will be one of the favorites to win the division season in and season out.

Kansas City Chiefs - Coach Jdidd
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Dallas Cowboys (11-5)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 76-82 (.481)
Team's Overall Record: 304-267 (.532)

Diddy took his talents from Dallas to Kansas City this season, as he looks to continue his best MOF run in his career. Season 35 saw Didd finish 12-4 and 5 points away from a Super Bowl appearance. Season 36 was a down season, as he finished 7-9 and missed playoffs. However Season 37 he turned things around, finished 11-5 and was knocked out of the playoffs by the eventual champion Jonesy and the Panthers 34-31. I expect Didd to come at the MOF AFC West with the same intensity as he did the last 3 seasons with an underrated Chiefs squad who still has Charles, Kelce, the general Alex Smith and a very good defense. They lost Sean Smith, but they didnt lose much more. The Chiefs will be a team to be reckoned with.

Oakland Raiders - Coach JiggaJP2121
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 New York Giants (4-12) *Partial
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 39-67 (.368)
Team's Overall Record: 286-289 (.497)

JP had himself his best season in Season 36 with the Detroit Lions. He finished 11-5 and won his first ever division title. He took a hiatus in Season 37, and came back as the Giants, with not the same success. He has a fresh start in Oakland, with a young and hungry team. Derek Carr is an emerging stud , and Latavious Murray is a feature back. Amari Cooper is a solid #1 and their defense is very underrated. The only part that scares me is the division he is in. This is a juggernaut of a division, so being in last place is not too far fetched even if he finishes above .500 which i think he will. The division games will be the deciding factor of the Raiders and JP's success.

San Diego Chargers – WLJones228
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Carolina Panthers (15-1)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 15-2 (.882)

Team's Overall Record: 264-321 (.451)

Ladies and gentleman the champ.. is.. here! Jonesy made his impact felt last season as he went 15-1 with the Panthers en route to his first MOF Super Bowl title, first of many we expect. The Chargers made some pretty good moves, adding Travis Benjamin and Casey Hayward also trading for Breshard Perriman before the season began. They did lose Eric Weddle, and TE Ladarius Green but i dont think that will have much of an impact. Jonesy has proven himself to be a top notch coach and with Leet and Beast out this season, he will be the favorite to repeat. This division will be a huge test for Jonesy, but until he is beaten, i expect him to reign supreme.

FINAL ANALYSIS: AFC WEST
Toughest division in the MOF, no question about it. You can make a great case for any of these teams to make the playoffs. I do believe these guys will beat each other up, and that might cost one of these teams a wild-card spot. I think the Chargers win division, and Broncos, Chiefs, Raiders battle for that 2nd place spot..

NFC EAST

Dallas Cowboys - Coach Qpeezy35

Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 214-142 (.601)
Team's Overall Record: 318-268 (.543)

Q originally drafted the Texans, but when Dallas became available due to Beast's retirement, he immediately swapped teams in the partial re-draft. Q had a great Madden '16, making the playoffs in all 3 seasons of the CFM with the Steelers. He never made it past the divisional round, but making the playoffs every season is a great accomplishment. Now he finally has his team, the Cowboys. Dallas originally got rid of Greg Hardy but Q brought him back, so they are basically the same team they were a year ago. The Cowboys have a great offensive line, and a franchise RB in Ezekiel Elliot. Rumors are that Romo might be on his way out as Dak Prescott is showing signs of greatness. Q is a dangerous coach to begin with, and now with his team , he's even more dangerous.

New York Giants - Coach Natureboy
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Chicago Bears (5-11)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 21-45 (.318)
Team's Overall Record: 300-285-1 (.513)

The one team in the division whos not using his favorite team is Coach Natureboy, and the New York football Giants. In fact, he hates the Giants, but still drafted them. Madden '16 wasn't that kind to Natureboy, who joined us in Season 36. His Chicago Bears finished 5-11 and in Season 37 he finished again at 5-11. The Giants absolutely have more weapons on offense, and an improved defense with the additions of Olivier Vernon, Damion Harrison, and Janoris Jenkins. This team is stacked. However, when you're in a division with three guys playing with their favorite teams, its going to be an uphill battle. I expect the Giants to struggle, and possibly make some trades that will improve other teams.

Philadelphia Eagles - Mrosado11
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 San Diego Chargers (10-6)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 11-6 (.647)
Team's Overall Record: 276-311 (.470)

The swindler of the MOF, Coach Mrosado11. Coach Mrosado originally drafted the Jaguars but got his way to the Eagles via trade with Coach Krayzie300. Mrosado made his full season debut last season with the Chargers, and finished with an impressive 10-6 record, making the playoffs in his first full season. Now he has his favorite team, and as i always say, coaches are much more dangerous with their favorite team. The Eagles made a lot of moves in the off-season, drafting Carson Wentz, letting go of Bradford, Sanchez, Murray, and Kiko Alonso to name a few. Signing Leodis McKelvin was arguably their best move, and with Ryan Mathews the feature back now, these guys are more of a pound it out kind of team. I expect the Eagles to be a very good team this MOF Season with Mrosado11 at the sticks.

Washington Redskins - Coach NYRedskins35
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Washington Redskins (13-3)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 274-125 (.687)
Team's Overall Record: 358-232 (.607)

And then there was Betts. Who drafted the Redskins, once again. Last edition, he was the Skins all 3 seasons. Season 35 he left early, and let Storm finish the season, either way they were 7-9. Season 36 Betts made his full return finishing 11-5 and winning the NFC East. He made it all the way to the big dance before losing to Shawtypizzle. Season 37 was his best, finishing 13-3 and even though he was knocked out in the wild-card round, Betts had a great season. The Redskins really only lost RG3 so they basically have the same team coming back. Matt Jones is emerging as the #1 back, and Desean Jackson is back once again with his speed. Cousins will have himself another great season, and that defensive addition of Josh Norman will really help as well. Another coach playing with his favorite team equals another dangerous team. Betts will be in the playoffs, its just a matter of where in the seeding.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC EAST
NFC East is a very close second to toughest division in the MOF. You have 3 out of the 4 coaches playing with their favorite team. I think all 3 of those coaches will be in the playoffs when its all said and done. The Giants are in for a hell of a season, i feel bad for him.

NFC NORTH
Chicago Bears - Coach Kd0tMarxs

Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Miami Dolphins (2-14)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 2-6 (.250)
Team's Overall Record: 338-250-1 (.575)

Coach Kd0t made his MOF debut last season with the Miami Dolphins. He did not complete a full season, so technically he's still a rookie. He finished the season 2-6 and overall Miami finished 2-14. With Chicago he will struggle. These guys are a weak team on offense, and average on defense. The signing of Trevethan and Freeman will absolutely help their linebacking core, but not enough to make an impact in this division. They lost Forte and Bennett, so their only real threat is Alshon Jeffrey now. I expect the Bears to struggle mightily this season, hopefully Kd0t can turn these guys around quick.

Detroit Lions - Coach Sweettaz1
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Oakland Raiders (3-13)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 8-24 (.250)
Team's Overall Record: 302-289 (.511)

Coach Sweetaz had two full seasons in Oakland Season 36 he was 5-11, and Season 37 he was 3-13. Obviously not as good as he wanted to be. This season he has the Detroit Lions, without the recently retired Calvin Johnson. They did sign Marvin Jones to try and make up for the loss of megatron, but that's like trying to replace gold with plastic. The Lions will struggle, in my opinion they will battle the Bears for 3rd place, or to get out of last place (depending if you're a pessimist like myself). Sweetaz has his hands full with rebuilding these Lions into a contender once again.

Green Bay Packers - Coach Lhu27
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Houston Texans (6-10)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 115-72-1 (.615)
Team's Overall Record: 282-307 (.479)

Coach Dolan better known as Lhu27, made his triumphant return to the MOF Season 35 with the Houston Texans. His return did not go as well as planned as he finished 6-10. Season 36 was a bit better as he finished 8-8 with a better QB, but Season 37 was another disappointing year as he went 6-10 once again. Now he has the Packers, his favorite team. The Packers are NOT the Texans, these guys have a great offense, and a pretty good defense. I expect Dolan to make some noise here with the Packers, and maybe get back to greatness. I still think it might take him a season to get into a groove, and that could cost him a playoff berth, however before Madden '17 is through, Dolan will be a Super Bowl contender.

Minnesota Vikings - Coach BigReg
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Detroit Lions (6-10)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 6-8 (.429)
T
eam's Overall Record: 245-340-3 (.419)

BigReg also made his debut last season, with the Detroit Lions. After JP left the MOF, Reg took over and its well known what he did with rookie stud Daryl Barker, he led the MOF in interceptions. He finished 6-8, which isn't terrible, but not good enough obviously. This season he starts fresh, and with a very solid Vikings squad. The Vikes lost Mike Wallace, but that was about it. Sam Bradford is a solid #2 QB behind Bridgewater, and it wouldnt surprise me to see Bradford in a different uniform before the end of the season. The Vikings strength is their run game, with Adrian Peterson, that makes them a top notch team to deal with. The Vikings are going to be a tough out, and i expect them to battle for the division when its all said and done.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC NORTH
You have two teams that will not make an impact in Detroit and Chicago, and two teams that will in Green Bay and Minnesota. I expect it to be a two team race, but im giving the edge to BigReg because he plays more than Dolan. But next season, things might be different.

NFC SOUTH

Atlanta Falcons - Coach Trigrdan
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Green Bay Packers (11-5)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 229-179 (.561)
Team's Overall Record: 282-307-1 (.479)

Trigrdan brings his solid MOF career to the dirty south. Trig had the Packers the last 3 seasons and he finished 11-5, 10-6, and 11-5 respectively. Trig never got through the divisional round of the playoffs, which is a disappointment, however now with the Falcons and the most dangerous player in the game, in Julio Jones, that makes Trig a very stable contender for the chip. Roddy White hung up the cleats, but the addition of Mohammad Sanu is a big one, and will help out an already decent pass game. Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman provide arguably the best 1/2 punch in the MOF as well. I expect Trig to run away with this division.

Carolina Panthers - Coach Dpanther95
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Cincinnati Bengals (7-9)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 122-235 (.342)
Team's Overall Record: 286-303-1 (.486)

Dpanther is finally back home! It feels good to see him back in Carolina, where he belongs, running his team. The last 3 seasons were not very kind to Dpanther in Cincinnati. Season 35 (6-10), Season 36 (8-8), Season 37 (7-9). Dpanther never gives up, and thats a trait that will always stick with him. He gives his all season in and season out, game in and game out. He never complains, and takes his wins and losses like a man. There is something to be said for that. There is no one more deserving a playoff berth and success than Dpanther. So thats why we are rooting for his Panthers this season. Although, i think the first season will be a learning curve, i think he will show signs of greatness and really contend for a wild-card berth.

New Orleans Saints - Coach Haneytx ®
Coach's Last Full Season: Rookie
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: Rookie
Team's Overall Record: 316-272 (.537)

The Saints. The most cursed team in the MOF over the past few seasons. We literally had about 6 or 7 coaches in 3 seasons. Thats not an exaggeration. We're not really sure why but for whatever reason, the Saints attract the most unsim coaches we've ever come across. Coach Haneytx looks to break the curse. Haney is a rookie, which already hurts his stock, but he also has a team that cant stop a swift breeze. The addition of James Laurinaitis is a good one, but not enough to stop teams like Atlanta or Carolina. The Saints have a very good offense, and still have Drew Brees and Brandin Cooks, but we believe he will struggle in his first season here in the MOF. Develop that defense, then we can talk.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Coach Jfon
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-10)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 169-181 (.483)
Team's Overall Record: 282-293 (.490)

Jfon is back again with the Buccaneers, like clockwork. Last edition he finished 8-8 twice and 6-10 in Season 37. Jfon is a tough out, but always seems to finish around .500. I dont think much will change this season. The Bucs are an improved squad, no doubt about it. Especially with the addition of Robert Ayers. Jamies Winston and those giant receivers are going to be tough to cover. As well as Doug Martin and Charles Sims on the ground. The Bucs will battle the Panthers for 2nd place in the division, but i believe will fall short in the battle.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC SOUTH
Im very high on Trig's Falcons, i think that team really fits him well and Julio Jones is a beast, believe me. The Panthers and Bucs are 2nd tier teams in the MOF, and could definitely contend for a wild-card if an NFC east team slips up. I believe the Saints have a lot to prove to be taken seriously just yet.

NFC WEST
Arizona Cardinals - Coach Pettigrew95

Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 New England Patriots (7-9)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 127-64 (.665)
Team's Overall Record: 224-364 (.381)

Pettigrew kind of lost his way last Madden with the Patriots. After his 11-5 Season 35, where he was beat in the AFC Championship, he started to decline. Season 36 he finished 8-8, and missed the playoffs. Season 37 he finished a career worst 7-9. So what is going on with Pettigrew? He got married... no but in all honesty, he lost a step and looks to get it back in Arizona. The addition of Chandler Jones to an already stacked defense makes these guys one of the favorites in the NFC West. But how will Pettigrew bounce back from his two poor seasons? I'm not quite sure, but i think he will struggle at times, and at times he will look like the old Pettigrew. It might take him a season to get back to prime, but he definitely has the right team for his strengths.

Los Angeles Rams - Coach Kalikarpenter
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Cleveland Browns (7-9)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 24-24 (.500)
Team's Overall Record: 279-312 (.472)

The Rams moved to LA in the offseason, and Kali is happy to be part of the move to Cali (see what i did there?). Kalikarpenter had signs of greatness and signs of poor play. Season 35 he was 4-12 with the Browns, then miraculously he went 13-3 in Season 36, only to come back to earth and finish 7-9 in Season 37. So how good is Kalikarpenter? I'd say he's more Season 37 than 35 or 36. He's probably a .500 coach who when puts time in, is above average. Kali has a great defense in LA, but a rookie QB in Jared Goff. Todd Gurley is a beast, as we know, and Tavon Austin is a speed demon. These guys lost Chris Long, Janoris Jenkins, and James Laurinitis. But still have a very good defense. I think Kali will fight Pettigrew for second place in the division, but only to fall short because of the lack of a solid QB.

San Francisco 49ers - Coach Astro2trill22 ®
Coach's Last Full Season: Rookie
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: Rookie
Team's Overall Record: 327-263 (.554)

The 49ers were originally drafted by MaddenUSA but as per usual, MaddenUSA disappeared and quit the league without explanation. Insert Coach Astro2trill22. He will be making his debut in the MOF this season, and with a very poor 49ers team. That usually spells disaster, but i have an odd feeling Astro will be pretty decent. The 49ers still have a solid defense with Bowman, Eric Reid, and newly drafted Deforst Buckner. Their QB situation could be better, and we're not sure who Astro will start if it will be Gabbert or Kaepernick. The run game is solid with Hyde and Draughn. Their receivers need help. The 49ers will be in last place, i have no doubt in my mind, and hopefully Astro has a good time rebuilding these guys.

Seattle Seahawks - Coach Bubbaduran07
Coach's Last Full Season: Season 37 Baltimore Ravens (10-6)
Coach's Overall Regular Season Record: 61-51 (.545)
Team's Overall Record: 318-268-2 (.543)

Bubbaduran had himself an up and down Madden 16. Season 35 he finished 6-10, Season 36 he was again 6-10, but in Season 37 he turned it around in Baltimore finishing 10-6 and winning the division. Not only that, but he won his wild-card game too, only to lose to Pauly's Chiefs in the divisional round. Bubba had great success with his speed receivers in Baltimore, in Perriman and Hester (drafted) and he looks to try and replicate that success in Seattle. Except Seattle doesn't really have the speed at receiver that Baltimore did. However, their secondary is still in tact, their defense is still very solid, and the loss of Marshawn Lynch hurts but Thomas Rawls should be able to handle the load. I expect Bubba to do very well in this division, by default.

FINAL ANALYSIS: NFC WEST
Normally i'd say its a 3-team race, but im leaning towards Seattle to win this division with the Rams and Cardinals battling for 2nd place. The 49ers will struggle, like we mentioned.
