Welcome
once again ladies and gentlemen to the annual MOF
Season predictions. This is the first season of
Madden '15 and we're all extremely excited!! We were
able to conduct a pretty accurate set of predictions
based on previous seasons and team ratings.
The Season 30 draft was an absolute success as it
only lasted a little under 24 hours, and we saw a
couple surprises, like GBryan taking the Redskins
ahead of Betts, and Coach Pauly finally getting his
Eagles! We have a lot of coaches going "home" to
their favorite teams this season, so it should be a
fun one.
So Season 29 ended a few months ago, and we saw
Pettigrew95 win his first ever title with the New
England Patriots. He defeated Coach Pauly and the
Bears in the Super Bowl. Pettigrew has decided to
defend his title with the Patriots. We will now
break down each division, and at the end of the
article, you will see my predictions for the
upcoming season! Enjoy!
AFC EAST
Buffalo
Bills
Season 30 Coach: Beast10790
(Previous Season - Season 29:
Buffalo Bills (14-2)
Season 29 Team Result: 14-2 (Coach Beast10790)
The Buffalo Bills are back this season with
Coach Beast and he is 1 season removed from his
championship season back in Season 28. Last season
he fell short in the playoffs against the eventual
champion Coach Pettigrew. The Bills lost Stevie
Johnson but drafted Sammy Watkins, and they are
returning the speedy CJ Spiller and backup Fred
Jackson. They also added Bryce Brown for a very
solid backfield. We all know the talent that Beast
has, and we cannot remember the last time, if ever,
he has coached anyone else than the Bills. We expect
alot out of Coach Beast this season, he not only
takes pride in his game, he loves his Buffalo Bills.
Expect them to be a top the division and conference
when it's all said and done.
Miami
Dolphins
Season 30
Coach Monsterzx6r - *Rookie*
Season 29 Team Result: 9-7 (Coach BradDevito)
Coach Monsterzx6r is making his MOF debut this
season, and although he is still having some
confusion on whether we're a CFM league or not, he
is coaching his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins.
Everyone is always more dangerous when they have
their team, we've always said that. The Dolphins
have weapons, there's no denying that. Mike Wallace,
Brian Hartline, Charles Clay, etc. The question is
can Ryan Tannehill get the ball to them? The
backfield got crowded when Miami signed Knowshown
Moreno in the offseason, along with Lamar Miller
they have a pretty good backfield as well. Miami's
defense is also pretty solid with Cameron Wake and
Olivier Vernon. The question will be can Coach
Monsterzx6r shake the rookie jitters and compete in
one of the toughest divisions in the MOF?
New
England Patriots
Season 30
Coach Pettigrew95 (Previous Season - Season 29:
New England (14-2) *Defending Champion)
Season 29 Team Result: 14-2 (Coach Pettigrew95)
The defending champion Patriots return with
Coach Pettigrew95 who won Season 29's Super Bowl
over Pauly2110's Chicago Bears. Pettigrew currently
holds the Dan Dolan Trophy and looks to defend it
with a stronger Patriot team than last season. They
added Tim Wright at Tight End, and Darrelle Revis
and Brandon Browner in the secondary. Of course they
have Tom Brady at the helm, and as long as you have
Mr. Gizelle Bundchen, you have a great shot at
winning. Gronkowski is a top tight end virtually and
it's a good thing injuries don't carry over in the MOF. We expect Pettigrew to again be a top the
division, and a top the conference. We expect him to
really battle with Coach Beast once again, which is
turning into one of the best MOF rivalries of all
time.
New
York Jets
Season 30
Coach Latinyank77478 (Previous Season - Season
28: New York Jets (6-10) *Last Full MOF Season*)
Season 29 Team Result: 1-15 (Coach Cookies10)
The MOF gives a warm welcome back to Coach
Latinyank. He had last season off, and now is ready
to roll again with the New York Jets. The question
will be will Geno or Vick be the starting
Quarterback for Coach Latinyank? Also with the
addition of Chris Johnson, this team has become much
more dangerous. The Jets defense will always be a
strong point on a Rex Ryan team, but their defensive
line honestly is one of the best in the game. The
Jets could really surprise some people this season,
but in a division with the last two champions, it's
going to be tough to compete. We expect the Jets to
battle for a wild-card spot, but nothing more than
that. Unless Coach Latinyank finds something special
and runs with it.
SUPER
ANALYSIS: AFC EAST
The division will belong to the
Bills and Patriots. These two guys have proven that
they are the cream of the crop of the MOF. The head
to head games these two will play will determine the
division winner. The Jets might get a victory over
one of the two teams, but I really don't expect them
to be a threat to the Pats or Bills. The Miami
Dolphins will be in the basement, but I expect them
to get some surprise victories.
AFC NORTH
Baltimore
Ravens
Season 30 Coach: Ukcat98
(Previous Season - Season 29:
Green Bay Packers (11-5)
Season 29 Team Result: 1-15 (Coach Bigchuck187)
Coach Ukcat98 was suspended for the last few
games of Season 29 for unsportsmanlike conduct
towards an opponent, he's apologized since, but the
error forced him to miss the post-season. Ukcat has
had his ups and downs in the win loss columns during
his MOF stint. However relatively he's been
successful. This season he looks to contend with the
Baltimore Ravens. The once stout defense has taken a
few steps back with the losses of Ed Reed and Ray
Lewis, but they still have Terrell Suggs, Dumervil,
and Mosely. Joe Flacco looks to improve his offense
with the signing of former Panther Steve Smith. With
the wife beating back Ray Rice in the backfield,
they are very set on offense. Can Ukcat bring the
glory back to Baltimore after their 1-15 Season 29?
Cincinnati
Bengals
Season 30 Coach: BigDre245
(Previous Season - Season 29:
Cincinnati Bengals (8-8)
Season 29 Team Result: 8-8 (Coach BigDre245)
BigDre is on the rise, and he's one of the
sexiest picks for some experts here in the MOF.
BigDre had a tough Season 29 with these same Bengals
finishing 8-8, but he still won the division and put
up a good fight against the eventual champion
Patriots in the 1st round. The early
pre-season games that Dre has been playing is making
him one of the favorites in the MOF with his
incredible defense, and AJ Green. Andy Dalton is
getting better and better as he matures into a top
QB, and Gio Bernard is turning into a top tier
running back. The Bengals defense is where its
at, and what makes them the favorite in the AFC
North. Vontaze Burfict, Geno Atkins, and Rey
Maualuga mans up one of the best D's in the league.
Cleveland Browns
Season 30 Coach: Uccbrett
(Previous Season - Season 28:
New England Patriots (9-7) *Last Full MOF Season)
Season 29 Team Result: 6-10 (Coach Classo1999)
Johnny Football is all over our TVs and Interweb
screens, it seems you can't put any sport show on
and not hear his name. Coach Uccbrett has a decision
to make, will he start Manziel or Hoyer? Coach Brett
took last season off, but his last full season was
Season 28 where he finished 9-7 with the Patriots.
He won the Super Bowl back in Season 27 with the
same Patriots. Brett looks to take his incredible
MOF history to Cleveland and to turn around a
franchise that has been one of the worst in MOF
history. With the addition of Ben Tate in the
backfield, and Josh Gordon and Miles Austin at
receiver, these guys are very dangerous offensively.
With the addition of Donte Whitner and Justin
Gilbert the secondary of Cleveland will also be much
improved.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Season 30 Coach: Raydar
(Previous Season - Season 29: Kansas City Chiefs
(9-7)
Season 29 Team Result: 8-8 (Coach Coachsmith55)
Coach Raydar had a mediocre season with the
Chiefs in Season 29 and looks to rebound from that.
The Steelers run game has improved greatly with the
emergence of LeVeon Bell and additions of LeGarrett Blount and Kent State rookie Dri Archer.
Antonio Brown and Heath Miller need to step up the
pass game for Big Ben after the loss of Emmanuel
Sanders. The defense is a year older, but a healthy
Troy Polamalu makes a huge difference. The Steelers
are a wild-card kind of team, they could be really
good, or they could be really bad. With the mixture
of veterans in this division, Raydar is going to
really have to get the most out of these Steelers to
really have a shot of knocking any of them off.
SUPER
ANALYSIS: AFC NORTH
The Bengals and Dre are the team to
knock off here. I believe he will win this division
by a few games. The Browns will be there fighting
with the Ravens for 2nd place and a wild-card berth.
If things fall right for Brett, he could actually
challenge Dre's Bengals for the division. The
Steelers are going to be in last place, unless Ukcat
really drops the ball in Baltimore.
AFC SOUTH
Houston
Texans
Season 30 Coach:
Stormdownburst
(Previous Season - Season 29:
Houston Texans (8-8)
Season 29 Team Result: 8-8 (Coach Stormdownburst)
Coach Stormdownburst is becoming one of the
MOF's greatest voices and staff members in league
history. His dedication to the league is second to
none, and he's really stepped up over the past year
and a half and become the Commish's right hand man.
His gameplay is also getting much better as he
clinched a playoff spot last season with these
Texans while going 8-8. With the recent trade for
Mallett the Texans have themselves a pretty good QB
tandem along with Ryan Fitzpatrick. Arian Foster and
Andre Brown are in the backfield. The Defense is
also very good with JJ Watt, and the #1 pick Clowney
heading them. The Texans have a decent shot at
returning to their once dominant form.
Indianapolis Colts
Season 30 Coach:
CheeferD
(Previous Season - Season 29:
Indianapolis Colts (6-10)
Season 29 Team Result: 6-10 (Coach CheeferD)
Coach Cheefer is back again with the Colts after
a disappointing Season 29. However, the lack of
activity is the main reason for his 6-10 finish.
Andrew Luck is going to have a big season, we can
feel it already. With the addition of Hakeem Nick
and emergence of their dual TE threat with Allen and
Fleener, the Colts offense is very very good. The
defense could use some help, without really
replacing Bethea they will need to improve the
secondary play to compete for the AFC. The division
should be theirs barring any strange rookie play
from the Jags and Titans. Storm's Texans will
provide some nice competition but the Colts have to
be your favorite going into Season 30, especially it
being Cheefer's favorite team.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Season 30 Coach:
Dyero_ *Rookie*
Season 29 Team Result: 2-14 (Coach Triggaman214)
Coach Dyero_ makes his MOF debut with the
Jaguars this season. Which is surprising because
Dyero had the 27th pick (28th overall) and decided
to pass up on Tennessee, the Jets, Miami, and St.
Louis. Kind of odd, because Jacksonville is probably
the worst offense in the game, by far. Blake Bortles
has to be your starter going into the season, Toby
Gerhart will be the starting runningback now that
MJD is in Oakland. Cecil Shorts is their #1
receiver, and Marcedes Lewis will still be their
tight end. Chris Clemons was picked up in the
off-season to help that rush. However the Jags are
very young, and very inexperienced to really compete
for any kind of division or wild-card, couple that
with the fact that there is an MOF rookie coaching
them, these guys are in for a long season.
Tennessee Titans
Season 30 Coach:
Cookies10 *Rookie* (Previous Season - Season 29: New
York Jets (1-15) *Only Played 7 Games (0-7)*
Season 29 Team Result: 10-6 (Coach IGotASxyWife)
Coach Cookies10 will compete in his first full
MOF season. Season 29 we saw him take over for the
Jets for the remaining 7 games of the season, losing
all 7 games. So not only is he starting his first
full season, he's looking for his first MOF win! The
Titans lost Chris Johnson in the offseason but Shonn
Greene and Bishop Sankey look to pick up where CJ2K
left off. Jake Locker will be the biggest question
coming into the season, can he provide enough to
make Cookies Titans relevant? The Titans defense
remains strong, with Jurrell Casey and the addition
of Shaun Phillips. The loss of Alterraun Verner will
hurt the Titans secondary, but they signed Bernard
Pollard to try and combat that loss.
SUPER
ANALYSIS: AFC SOUTH
The Colts
will be the champs of this division. I wouldn't be
shocked if the Texans snuck ahead of them, but
either way both teams will be in the playoffs.
Cheefer will be too focused to let the Jags or
Titans jump ahead of him. Storm also will be ready
for a great run with the Texans as well. I look for
the Titans to surprise some people, and win
some upsets, but nothing too crazy. The Jaguars will
be lucky to win 3 games.
AFC WEST
Denver Broncos
Season 30 Coach:
Classo1999 (Previous Season - Season 29: Cleveland
Browns (6-10)
Season 29 Team Result: 5-11 (Coach MOF Commissioner)
Coach Classo1999 has been known for his
incredible record breaking skills with Josh Gordon
of the Browns, breaking the single season reception
record, so what will he do with the greatest regular
season quarterback in history? It's scary to think.
The Broncos are obviously an amazing team, but they
aren't always the best team to play with in Madden.
Not alot of speed, not a great run game, and Peyton
doesn't have the best throwing power. So it makes
them vulnerable. The defense is much improved with
the additions of Ware, Ward, and Talib. There is no
question that Classo will have a great time with the
Broncos this season but again, the speed issue
really will come into affect when it matters most.
Kansas City Chiefs
Season 30 Coach:
IGotASxyWife (Previous Season - Season 29: Tennessee
Titans (10-6)
Season 29 Team Result: 9-7 (Coach Raydar)
The Chiefs are your classic Madden team. Jamaal
Charles' speed, Alex Smith's accuracy, and Dwayne
Bowe's size. Coach IGSW had a great Season 29 with
the Titans, winning the division at 10-6, and is
about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame,
deservingly so. The Chiefs fit IGSW's style very
well, he's a smash mouth kind of player, with a
great defense, and the Chiefs are exactly that.
Justin Houston and Tamba Hali are great pass rushers
on that defense, and Eric Berry patrolling the skies
in the secondary makes offenses think twice about
putting that ball up in the air. Dont forget about
Derrick Johnson and Dontari Poe as well. The Chiefs
have to be one of the favorites to win this AFC West
in Season 30.
Oakland Raiders
Season 30 Coach:
Maddenusa2009 (Previous Season - Season 27: Houston Texans (3-13) *Last Full MOF Season*)
Season 29 Team Result: 7-9 (Coach TeamKA)
Season 30 sees the return of Coach Maddenusa,
and he is running with his favorite team, the
Oakland Raiders! The Raiders drafted their next
"future" QB in Derek Carr, and they are hoping not
to ruin him like the Texans did to his brother
David. The loss of Rashard Jennings will hurt, but
McFadden is a great Madden RB with his speed, and
ability to break tackles. Marcel Reece is a great
hybrid FB that can play TE and RB as well. The
addition of Justin Tuck on defense, along with
Antonio Smith will improve their rush attack.
Woodson and Branch also head one of the better
safety tandems in the league. The Raiders need some
help to really compete in this division with Denver
and KC, but Maddenusa knows how to win with them, so
we'll see what happens.
San Diego Chargers
Season 30 Coach:
Dagger27 (Previous Season - Season 29: Detroit Lions (10-6)
Season 29 Team Result: 12-4 (Coach Qpeezy35)
Coach Dagger had a tough Season 29, finishing
10-6 with the Lions and still missing the playoffs.
This season he drafted the Chargers, and seemed very
happy about that. The Chargers are a lot like the
Broncos, in the sense that they are a good NFL team,
but not always the best MOF team. It's the throwing
motion and power of Rivers that holds them back. He
is very accurate, and Antonio Gates causes massive
matchup problems, but you really have to conform to
these guys to have success. Qpeezy had a lot of
success last season with them, and Dagger will have
to follow that blue print. The additions of Jason
Verrett and Brandon Flowers really helps their
secondary, and that's always good when you play
Peyton Manning twice a year.
SUPER ANALYSIS: AFC WEST
The
Broncos and Chiefs will battle each other for this
division. I think it will be tough for two teams to
come out of this division for the playoffs, so
winning that division will be extremely important.
The head to head games will make the most
difference. I believe the Chargers could surprise
some people if Dagger can figure them out, but by
the time he figures them out, it might be too late.
Same goes for Oakland, he might win some surprising
games, but in the end, Oakland and San Diego will be
the bottom 2.
NFC EAST
Dallas Cowboys
Season 30 Coach:
Canesbucs1 (Previous Season - Season 21: Baltimore Ravens (14-2) *Last Full MOF Season)
Season 29 Team Result: 11-5 (Coach Mindenplaya)
The return of the messiah Coach Canesbucs1 has
finally returned to the MOF. His last full season
was Season 21 with the Ravens, where he finished
14-2. The Hall of Fame coach is going to adjust just
fine to PS4 and we expect big things out of
Canesbucs as we usually do. The Dallas Cowboys
however are a tough team to win with. Their offense
isn't the problem at all with Romo, Bryant, Witten,
and a very good running game with DeMarco Murray.
Their defense is the problem and adding to the
problem is the loss of Demarcus Ware. They will have
to outscore their opponents, and Coach Canesbucs
isn't really used to that, being a defensive mind.
So the Cowboys will be a challenge for him.
New York Giants
Season 30 Coach:
Hovadagod23 (Previous Season - Season 28: Atlanta Falcons (3-13) *Last Full MOF Season*)
Season 29 Team Result: 6-10 (Coach Fasterblack21)
Coach Hovadagod is back in the MOF after a 1
season hiatus. When the MOF moved to PS4 Hova took
the season off, but now he's ready to compete. His
last full season in the MOF was disappointing as he
went 3-13 with the Falcons. He looks to take that up
a notch with the New York Giants this season. The
Giants have some issues, there's no questioning
that. Their run game is kind of non existent, and
Eli Manning is the most inconsistent Super Bowl MVP
in history. The Giants lost Justin Tuck in the
off-season, but they signed DRC adding to Antrelle
Rolle and Stevie Brown in a very good secondary. If
Hova can limit his turnovers and get a run game
going, these guys might surprise you.
Philadelphia Eagles
Season 30 Coach:
Pauly2110 (Previous Season - Season 29: Chicago Bears (13-3) *Super Bowl Runner-Up*)
Season 29 Team Result: 11-5 (Coach Gbryan)
Good old Pauly is back after an extremely tough
Season 29 where he had a great season with the Bears
and lost in the Super Bowl to Pettigrew. That marks
Pauly's 3rd Super Bowl loss in as many appearances.
He is a hall of famer either way, but Pauly looks to
take the next step this season and looks to win the
big one. The Eagles are a great team to do that
with. They lost DeSean Jackson, which is huge, but
they signed Darren Sproles and with McCoy in that
backfield these guys are going to be a screen and no
huddle machine. Trent Cole will lead an underrated
defense that also have three cornerbacks with 80+
overall ratings. Can Pauly repeat his Season 29
performance in a very tough division? We'll see.
Washington Redskins
Season 30 Coach:
Gbryan (Previous Season - Season 29: Philadelphia Eagles (11-5)
Season 29 Team Result: 13-3 (Coach NYRedskins35)
Coach Gbryan returns to the NFC East after his
11-5 performance last season with the Eagles. It
looks like he followed DeSean Jackson to Washington,
as the most explosive player in the division. RG3
will be at the helm, with the best speed at the
position in the MOF. Alfred Morris heads a pretty
good running attack and with the above mentioned
DeSean, they also still have Santana Moss and Jordan
Reed. The defense led by Brian Orakpo and Ryan
Kerrigan is also very good. Can the Redskins stay
healthy during their games though? That's the thing
that Gbryan is going to have to deal with, RG3's
health and their secondary trying to stop the other
teams in the division, it should be interesting.
SUPER ANALYSIS:
NFC EAST
The NFC
East is always a tough division, and this season is
no different. The Cowboys, Eagles and Redskins can
all make an argument about being the best team in
the division. I think we will see two teams make it
to the playoffs out of this division, I think the
Eagles are my front runners for the division, and
the Cowboys are my next team in line. The Redskins
will give Dallas a fight for 2nd place but i think
will fall short. The Giants are going to have a
tough time in this division.
NFC NORTH
Chicago Bears
Season 30 Coach:
Trevpap (Previous Season - Season 29: San Francisco 49ers (10-6)
Season 29 Team Result: 13-3 (Coach Pauly2110)
The greatest franchise in MOF history the
Chicago Bears fell short last season in the Super
Bowl against the Patriots. They made a change at the
helm, as Coach Trevpap now returns to Chicago to try
and push them over the top and to their 7th Super
Bowl title. Coach Trev took the 49ers last season to
a 10-6 mark but fell short in the wild-card round to
the Cowboys. This season we see Trev work with Jay
Cutler, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey, and Matt
Forte in what should be a very explosive offense.
They of course lost Julius Peppers, but signed Jared
Allen to replace him. Jon Bostic is also a very good
linebacker. The Bears will have to compete in a very
strong division, so we'll see how Trev does.
Detroit Lions
Season 30 Coach:
NYRedskins35 (Previous Season - Season 29: Washington Redskins (13-3)
Season 29 Team Result: 10-6 (Coach Dagger27)
Coach NYRedskins35, better known as Coach Betts,
will not be running with the Redskins this season,
shockingly they were taken only a few picks ahead so
Coach Betts had to settle with Detroit. Although on
paper, the Lions are a much better squad. Matthew
Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush and the
addition of Golden Tate makes this offense one of
the best in football. Couple that with Betts'
talent, and the Lions have to be one of the
favorites coming out of the NFC for Season 30. Don't
forget Eric Ebron and Brandon Pettigrew at TE. Nick
Fairley and Ndamokong Suh at DT is really a treat
for Betts in a defense that is very underrated. Look
for Stephen Tulloch to have a breakout season.
Green Bay Packers
Season 30 Coach:
Woody_08 (Previous Season - Season 29: New Orleans Saints (6-10)
Season 29 Team Result: 11-5 (Coach Ukcat98)
Coach Woody is looking to turn his fortunes
around from last season where he went 6-10 with the
high powered Saints. This season he has the high
powered Packers and looks to make a difference.
Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best quarterback in
the game and it's very hard not to win with these
guys. Eddie Lacy mans the backfield and James Starks
is there to spell. The Packers have added Julius
Peppers to their defense to try and help out that
secondary. Clay Matthews and AJ Hawk are a great
linebacker duo. Ha Ha Clinton Dix will do his best
to replace Charles Woodson who they lost in the
offseason. The Packers definitely have the most
talent in the division, but can talent overcome
coaching?
Minnesota Vikings
Season 30 Coach:
Krayzie300 (Previous Season - Season 29: Minnesota Vikings (3-13)
Season 29 Team Result: 3-13 (Coach Krayzie300)
Coach Krayzie300 is back with the Vikings, as he
went 3-13 with them last season. Coach Krayzie
hasn't had the best success with the Vikings, even
though he loves to pick them every season. The
addition of Terry Bridgewater should help the QB
situation, but no word has been made whether if
Krayzie will be starting Matt Cassell or
Bridgewater. Adrian Peterson of course is the main
man on offense, and why defenses will most likely be
playing 8 or 9 in the box at all times. Coradelle
Patterson will look to make defenses pay for that
kind of philosophy in the air. The defense of the
Vikings will be the weak point, Chad Greenway will
be the veteran on the squad, Floyd and Rhodes will
be the youngins trying to get it done.
SUPER
ANALYSIS: NFC NORTH
Whenever you have Coach
Betts involved, he has to be the favorite. The Lions
have a wonderful offense with Calvin Johnson and
Reggie Bush. The addition of Golden Tate just makes
them that much more dangerous. The Packers are
obviously a great team too, but Coach Woody needs to
show the rest of the MOF that he has arrived, and
can compete with the best. The Vikes and Bears will
be battling for 3rd place all season.
NFC SOUTH
Atlanta Falcons
Season 30 Coach:
TeamKA (Previous Season - Season 29: Oakland Raiders (7-9)
Season 29 Team Result: 7-9 (Coach C-Train336)
TeamKA decided to go against picking the Raiders
this season, and went with the Dirty Birds, the
Atlanta Falcons. How can you blame TeamKA though? He
is a few seasons removed from appearing in the Super
Bowl with the Raiders, but since then has declined
with them. So now he goes with Matt Ryan, Roddy
White, and Julius Jones. What a great tandem. The
loss of Tony Gonzalez hurts, but i think they will
be fine. Steven Jackson and Jacquizz Rodgers will be
in the backfield trying to control the clock. The
defense had some bit of a makeover with the
additions of Paul Soliai and Tyson Jackson to try
and stop the run which they usually have a problem
with. The key factor will be how they pass without
the Tony G blanket.
Carolina Panthers
Season 30 Coach:
Dpanther95 (Previous Season - Season 29: Carolina Panthers (7-9)
Season 29 Team Result: 7-9 (Coach Dpanther95)
The Panthers again re-up with Coach Dpanther who
again will be coaching the Panthers. Last season was
a little bit better for Coach Dpanther, as he
finished 7-9 and had some very impressive wins. The
team is getting better, there's no doubt about that,
but they lost Steve Smith in the off-season which
really hurts their pass game, especially since they
really never replaced him. That running game will
shine though, with DeAngelo, Stewart, Tolbert, and
of course Cam. The Panthers defense is great. Greg
Hardy, Charles Johnson, and Star Lotulelei are one
of the best fronts in football. Luke Kuechly and
Thomas Davis at linebacker are also great. Their
defense will win them games, but can they score
enough to compete against the top squads?
New Orleans Saints
Season 30 Coach:
Bigchuck187 (Previous Season - Season 29: Baltimore Ravens (1-15)
Season 29 Team Result: 6-10 (Coach Woody_08)
The first MOF season for Bigchuck wasn't the
best, you can say. He went 1-15 in his inaugural
season with the Ravens. Bigchuck fit in great with
the league, as he was named rookie of the year by
his peers. His awful season earned him a top pick in
the draft, and that's where he was able to select
the New Orleans Saints and their high powered
offense. The Saints lost Darren Sproles, yes, but
Jimmy Graham, Colston, Stills, Meachem, Ingram,
Thomas, and Robinson im sure will make up for the
lost touches that Sproles commands. The defense
improves with the addition of Jairus Byrd and
Cameron Jordan looks to continue his improvement.
The Saints will be a top team to watch out for in
the MOF this season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Season 30 Coach:
MMXcalibur (Previous Season - Season 27: Kansas City Chiefs (8-8) *Last Full MOF Season*)
Season 29 Team Result: 9-7 (Coach Daghostshadow)
Coach MMX returns to the MOF after 2 seasons
off. His first choice usually always is the Chiefs,
and his 2nd choice is usually the Cardinals, but
both teams were taken when his pick came up. So who
did he take? The Buccaneers. Coach MMX went 8-8 in
his last season here in the MOF back in Season 27.
MMX has made Super Bowls in the past, and has the
best MOF resume out of anyone in this division. The
Bucs have a very solid team outside of Quarterback.
Doug Martin, Vincent Jackson are two great offensive
weapons. Josh McCown or Mike Glennon will be the
starting Quarterback. The defense of the Bucs is
very good, with Gerald McCoy leading the way. Mason
Foster has been a great linebacker, and the
additions of Goldson and Verner will help an already
strong secondary.
SUPER
ANALYSIS: NFC SOUTH
This was a tough division to
predict. You can really make a case for any team to
win the division. Carolina has to be the weakest of
all 4 teams, only because Coach Dpanther has never
made the playoffs. Then the Saints, with the season
Bigchuck had last season, is tough to say that they
will be a contender here. So i'm going to say it
will come down to Atlanta and Tampa Bay, and I like
MMX here. I think the Bucs have the best shot at
winning this division.
NFC WEST
Arizona Cardinals
Season 30 Coach:
Qpeezy35 (Previous Season - Season 29: San Diego Chargers (12-4)
Season 29 Team Result: 7-9 (Coach RichVA804gg)
The Arizona Challenge is being taken by Coach
Qpeezy who took the Challenge back in Season 28, and
finished 8-8. Last season was a very good one for
Coach Qpeezy, who finished 12-4 with the Chargers,
winning the AFC West, and being 1 win away from the
Super Bowl. Being in the NFC West, things will be a
little different this season, it seems. Carson
Palmer will be the QB for the Cards, and they will
still have Larry Fitzgerald along with Andre
Ellington in the backfield. The defense is the
Cardinals bread and butter. Calais Campbell, John
Abraham, and Daryl Washington are part of a very
good front 7. The addition of Antonio Cromartie will
make a good secondary great. Can the challenge be
defeated this season?
San Francisco 49ers
Season 30 Coach:
MOF Commissioner (Previous Season - Season 29: Denver Broncos (5-11)
Season 29 Team Result: 10-6 (Coach Trevpap)
The MOF Commish is back with his favorite team,
the San Francisco 49ers. The debate was a long
thought out one though, between Seattle and San
Francisco, but in the end Commish decided to go back
home to the 49ers. History is on the Commissioner's
side, the last three times he coached them, he went
on to win the division. The offense of the 49ers has
been improved, with Kaepernick at QB, and additions
of Brandon Lloyd and Stevie Johnson to go along side
with Crabtree and Bolden. Frank Gore is a year
older, but Carlos Hyde and Kendall Hunter look to
spell him. The defense is the strong suit with
Willis, Bowman, Aldon Smith, Justin Smith, to name a
few. The 49ers are a great team, and they should do
some damage.
Seattle Seahawks
Season 30 Coach:
Trigrdan (Previous Season - Season 29: Seattle Seahawks (8-8)
Season 29 Team Result: 8-8 (Coach Trigrdan)
Trigrdan returns to Seattle after an 8-8 finish
last season. The Seahawks are the best rated team in
the game, and deservedly so. That defense is second
to none, with Richard Sherman and the rest of the
Legion of Boom. Russell Wilson is rated a whopping
93 in the game to lead the Seahawk offense. Marshawn
Lynch is still running the ball well. The receiving
corps took a hit with the loss of Sidney Rice and
Golden Tate. However when you have Percy Harvin,
things are just going to be okay. Again, the defense
is where its at with the Seahawks. Where do you
start? Mebane and Bennett and Avril? Wagner and
Smith, Sherman, Chancellor, and Thomas. The defense
will be the reason this team succeeds.
St. Louis Rams
Season 30 Coach:
AHart62 - *Rookie*
Season 29 Team Result: 5-11 (Coach TG-Bigwahoo)
The debut of Coach AHart62 will take place in
St. Louis this season. We don't know much about
Coach AHart but we do know that he's an active guy,
which means everything. However, he's in the NFC
West which means that he has to deal with Arizona,
Seattle, and San Francisco. It's a good thing real
injuries don't carry over to the MOF, because Sam
Bradford is an important part of this teams offense.
Zac Stacy has emerged as a very good option at back,
and should give them the rushing attack they desire.
Tavon Austin is not only good at receiver, he'll be
a dangerous return man too. Robert Quinn and Chris
Long are great at the end spots and James
Laurinaitus is a very good MLB too. The question
will be how will they compete with the top teams in
the division?
SUPER
ANALYSIS: NFC WEST
Three way battle for the division
in my eyes. Arizona, San Fran, and Seattle. I like
San Francisco based on the fact that the Commish has
very good success with this team. Seattle is a very
good team, its hard not to win with them, so i think
Seattle will finish a close second, and Arizona will
be right there too, but might be on the outside
looking in. St. Louis will have a rough road in
AHart's rookie season.
