Welcome
once again ladies and gentlemen to the annual MOF
Season predictions. Well here we are! The first ever
season on PlayStation 4!! We have seen the era of
the PS3 come and go, and the MOF has stood tall
through all of it, and we are ready to leap into the
next generation! This season will be innovative,
exciting, and alot of other big words that I cannot
pronounce. I wish everyone the best of luck, but
first..
The Season 29 draft was an absolute success as it
only lasted a little over 24 hours with barely any
notice, so good job guys. We saw Beast win the
Season 28 Super Bowl and decide to defend his title
with the Buffalo Bills, we also saw Trigr with the
first pick in the draft take the Seahawks, and that
makes him an instant contender. So without further
ado, let's check out the Season 29 predictions, by
yours truly.
AFC East
Buffalo Bills: Coach Beast10790 - Season 28:
Buffalo Bills (12-4) *Defending Champion*
Miami Dolphins: Coach Braddevito - Season 26:
Tennessee Titans (12-4)
New England Patriots: Coach Pettigrew95 - Season 28: Pittsburgh
Steelers (11-5)
New York Jets: Coach Latinyank77478 - Season 28: New
York Jets (6-10)
Analysis: The AFC East again is set to be a very good division. You
have the defending champion back with Buffalo as
Coach Beast looks to win a back to back
championships. Coach DeVito returns to the MOF as he
is now the head of the Miami Dolphins. Pettigrew is
coaching the very talented Patriots after finishing
11-5 last season, and then you have Coach Alex back
with the Jets and he is always a dangerous team. The
Buffalo Bills have a mediocre team at best, but
Coach Beast gets the most out of his team and just
knows how to play with them. CJ Spiller and EJ
Manuel excel under Beast, and I don't see any
difference this season. We move to the PS4 and
defense seems to be a little tougher, so Beast will
be ready to go as he will be the favorite of the
division. The Miami Dolphins have signed Coach
DeVito and the last time DeVito was here he went
12-4 with the Titans. The pistol offense seems to be
on the mind of DeVito as he drafted Miami over teams
that were clearly better. I except Tannehill to
cause a lot of mis matches and Miami will be a team
to watch as the season goes along. The Patriots have
Coach Pettigrew95 under the helm this season.
Pettigrew has been great in his few seasons here in
the MOF, last season he went 11-5 with the Steelers
and made it to the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Patriots are a better team no doubt about it,
but the division he is in will be a tough one. I
expect him to be right in the fold of the wild-card
race, but as far as the division, I don't think he
will have enough in him. The Jets and Coach Alex are
back once again, and this time Alex is ready to
rumble. The minute the PS4 was released, Alex was in
the lab getting ready. I think out of all the
coaches here , he is the most equipped to have
success. Just like every new edition of a game, Alex
is a beast, and then people catch up to him. I think
he will start off nice, but fall back down to earth
with the Jets.
In Final: This is a tough division, it could
really flow anyway. I think the Bills are the
favorites to win the division, and the team to most
likely to challenge him for the division, would be
Miami. I think Miami, New England and the Jets will
all be fighting for 2nd place and a wild-card spot.
We could even see both wild-cards come out of this
division.
AFC North
Baltimore Ravens: Coach Bigchuck187 - *Rookie*
Cincinnati Bengals: Coach BigDre245 - Season 28:
Houston Texans (11-5)
Cleveland Browns: Coach Classo1999 - Season 28:
Cleveland Browns (11-5)
Pittsburgh Steelers: Coach Coachsmith55 - *Rookie*
Analysis: The AFC North is filled with some
young guns this season! Coach BigChuck,
Coachsmith55, and Classo1999 have either zero or 1
year under their belt here in the MOF. Coach BigDre
is the veteran of the division, and he's going to
have to teach these youngins how to play MOF ball.
We start with the Baltimore Ravens and Coach
Bigchuck187. You know we're never quick to give
rookies any sort of credit until they earn it, and
there will be no difference this season. Although
it's not uncommon to see a rookie make the
post-season, we just won't predict that. The Ravens
have a very good team, good QB and a solid Defense
that will give the rest of this division a handful.
The Bengals have hired Coach BigDre245. The last few
seasons BigDre has had great regular seasons only to
fall short in the playoffs, when will he turn that
corner? Well i think he has to be the favorite to
win this division with the Bengals, and if things
can fall his way he could be battling for the Dolan
Trophy at the end of the season. Coach Classo is
back with the Browns, after an incredibly successful
Season 28. Josh Gordon broke the reception record
under Coach Classo last season, so let's see what he
will have in store this season. Who will be the
quarterback? That's the question. Coach Coachsmith55
will be with the Steelers this season, and another
rookie ready to make his debut with a pretty decent
team. Big Ben is always a threat to take over a
game, and a couple good receivers will keep him
games. The defense is a little old and slow, but I
think he will adjust. The Steelers are a good enough
team to compete.
In Final: This is Dre's division with the
Bengals. However, I do expect Classo to make some
noise with the Browns again and they will compete
for a wild-card spot. I think the rookies will have
a little bit of a learning curve, but I wouldn't be
shocked to see them win some impressive games with
these teams.
AFC South
Houston Texans: Coach Stormdownburst - Season 28:
Green Bay Packers (4-12)
Indianapolis Colts: Coach CheeferD - Season 28:
San Diego Chargers (8-8)
Jacksonville Jaguars: Coach Biglitto - *Rookie*
Tennessee Titans: Coach IGotASxyWife - Season 28:
Kansas City Chiefs (9-7)
Analysis: The AFC South is quite interesting. I
think the return of Cheefer with the Colts is really
going to be the story of this division. He knows the
team inside and out. The rookie Biglitto taking the
Jaguars in the draft is also a pretty interesting
story. Storm and IGotaSxyWife should not be
overlooked, but they will have an uphill battle. The
Houston Texans are not rated very high in Madden,
actually they are lowest rated team in the game. I'm
not exactly sure why, they have a ton of talent. It
looks like Coach Storm is 100% focused this season,
after he was added to the staff, he turned a corner,
so I expect a pretty good season out of him. The
Indianapolis Colts are my pick to do some real
damage this season. Cheefer and the Colts are like
peanut butter and jelly. He will have Andrew Luck on
point, and I really think the Colts will be a very
very good team this season. The Jaguars are coached
by rookie Biglitto. Now what's interesting is that
Biglitto chose the Jaguars over the Falcons and
Chargers which might come up to bite him later in
the season. The Jags have a ton of weaknesses and it
will be a miracle just to win 3 games. The Titans
are coached by IGSW who took the Chiefs to the AFC
Championship last season. Coach IGSW is very
impressive when he gets on a roll, and if he can do
the same with the Titans and Chris Johnson and Co.
He will be very hard to beat.
In Final: This is the Colts division to lose.
I think the Titans will give him a close fight, but
I still expect the Colts to run away with it. The
Texans are a bubble team, they could finish 10-6 or
6-10.. I don't really get a solid feeling out of
them. I think they might be in the race though. The
Jaguars could finish with the worst record in the
MOF.
AFC West
Denver Broncos: MOF Commissioner - Season 28:
Jacksonville Jaguars (8-8)
Kansas City Chiefs: Coach Raydar - Season 28:
Seattle Seahawks (9-7)
Oakland Raiders: Coach TeamKA - Season 28: Oakland
Raiders (13-3)
San Diego Chargers: Coach Qpeezy35 - Season 28: Arizona Cardinals (8-8)
Analysis: This will be a competitive division.
You have MOF Commissioner with the 4th pick in the draft
taking the very talented Broncos, you have Coach
Raydar who made the playoffs last season with the
Seahawks coaching the Chiefs. Then the return of
TeamKA with Oakland once again, who had the best
record in the league last season. And then you have
Qpeezy who landed the Chargers with the last pick in
the draft. The Denver Broncos are no question one of
the best teams in the game, and Dypko will have to
start practicing some more if he wants to win with
them though. It's apparent that PS4 is much
different, and I think he will struggle a bit, and
that will keep him from the post-season. The Kansas
City Chiefs are a very solid team all around, and
Coach Raydar will be a team to be reckoned with.
Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles. They have a lot of
weapons. The Oakland Raiders return with Coach
TeamKA who has had alot of success over the years
with these guys. Last season he finished 13-3 but
lost in the divisional round of the playoffs, so
look for TeamKA to be back with something to prove
here this season. The San Diego Chargers might be
the best team to ever be last picked, and who else
than Coach Qpeezy to land them. Peezy took the
Arizona Challenge last season, and it went well for
a little bit, but he wound up missing the playoffs
at 8-8. The Chargers have a good team, good defense
and good offense.
In Final: The Raiders are my division winners
here, but realistically any one of these teams could
win this division based on the talent and coaches
here. The Broncos, Chiefs, and Chargers will all be
battling for 2nd place and a wild-card spot.
NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: Coach Mindenplaya - Season 26: Seattle Seahawks (9-7)
New York Giants: Coach Wildcats-baby - *Rookie*
Philadelphia Eagles: Coach Gbryan - Season 28: St. Louis Rams (12-4)
*Super Bowl Runner-Up*
Washington Redskins: Coach NYRedsins35 - Season 28:
Washington Redskins (10-6)
Analysis: The landscape of the NFC east has changed with Roclo
leaving the Eagles, and the MOF all together. Coach
Mindenplaya has made his return to the MOF as his
last season here was Season 26 with the Seahawks.
Coach Wildcats-baby makes his MOF debut with the
G-Men, Gbryan takes his talents to the armpit of the
USA, and Coach Betts is back with the Skins. The
Dallas Cowboys have a lot of talent (this might be
the last edition of that) that's no argument, the
argument is can Coach Mindenplaya, aka The Big Hurt,
do some damage with them? It will be a challenge in
this division, but I think he can surprise some
people if everything falls right for him. The New
York Football Giants are headed by the most active
rookie we've had in a while in Wildcats-baby.
Although the name sounds soft, I think he will be
primed and ready to play in this league. Although
the Giants have a lot of holes, in a very tough
division, things will be hard on the rookie. I
expect maybe one shocking victory and a couple other
wins, but nothing crazy. The Philadelphia Eagles are
headed by last season's super bowl runner-up, coach
Gbryan. Gbryan had an amazing rookie season and won
the rookie of the year, and almost won the whole
thing. He will be primed with a great team around
him, let's see what he can do. The Redskins again
are coached by the immortal Coach Betts. Betts
finished 10-6 with his return to the skins last
season. I expect big things out of him and RG3 this
season, possible MVP awards and a division crown.
In Final: This will be a two team race. The
Eagles and Redskins. The head to head games between
these two teams will determine your NFC East winner.
I think Dallas has an outside chance to get a
wild-card but will be unlikely. The Giants will be
the cellar dwellars.
NFC North
Chicago Bears: Coach Pauly2110 - Season 28:
Chicago Bears (8-8)
Detroit Lions: Coach Dagger27 - Season 28: Baltimore Ravens (6-10)
Green Bay Packers: Coach Ukcat98 - Season 28: Indianapolis Colts (8-8)
Minnesota Vikings: Coach Krayzie300 - Season 28:
Minnesota Vikings (2-14)
Analysis: The NFC North is always an interesting one, and this
season will be no different. We have coaches from
last season, none of which were over .500. The Bears
return coach Pauly who won the division by default
last season because of the Lions DQ. The Lions hired
Coach Dagger and he looks like a new man! The
Packers have coach Ukcat98 and the Vikes bring back
Coach Krayzie despite his 4 wins in the last 2
seasons combined. The Bears went (8-8) last season
under Coach Pauly who had an up and down season to
say the least. This season is going to be about the
same with the moving to PS4. Pauly entered this
division thinking it would be a cake walk because of
the coaches records last season, that will not be
the case. The Detroit Lions have hired coach Dagger.
Dagger has been practicing this game like its his
job. He looks like a whole different coach out
there, and I tell you what, he's going to open some
eyes this season, and we all cannot wait to see
that. He is my prediction for comeback coach of the
year no doubt. The Green Bay Packers seem to
underachieve every single season, and we're not sure
why. Coach Ukcat98 has been hired to turn things
around in Green Bay, and he does have the skill set,
so can he do it? Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best
QB in the game, and if you cannot win with him, then
you might want to consider a new hobby. The
Minnesota Vikings have brought back, once again,
coach Krayzie. Krayzie went 2-14 last season with
the Vikings, and he went 2-14 in Season 27 too.
Regardless, Krayzie plays hard and I expect nothing
less than that out of him again this season. When
you have Adrian Peterson, anything is possible, just
remember that.
In Final: I honestly think we are in for a
surprise out of Dagger and the Lions. I see Detroit
winning this division, but Chicago obviously giving
all he can handle. Look for the Packers to be a
force as well. This is probably the hardest division
to predict, it will be a toss up. I do expect
Krayzie to finish last though, sorry bud.
NFC South
Atlanta Falcons: Coach C-Train336 - *Rookie*
Carolina Panthers: Coach Dpanther95 - Season 28:
Carolina Panthers (6-10)
New Orleans Saints: Coach Woody_08 - Season 28:
Cincinnati Bengals (1-15)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Coach Jfon - Season 28: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5)
Analysis: The dirty south seems to always look
the same season after season, and that is because of
the two homers, Dpanther and Jfon always sticking
with their teams, so you have to give them kudos for
that! Well this season we have a rookie in Atlanta,
and a Woody in the big easy, so things might get
weird. The Atlanta Falcons are headed by rookie
C-Train, who has one of the better names in the
league. The Falcons are a very good team, so them
falling to a rookie is quite surprising. Their
defense has some problems, we know that, but their
offense is just as good as anyones in the league. We
will see what he can do with these birds. The
Carolina Panthers return with Coach Dpanther once
again. The Panthers are starting to get better and
better and Dpanther is along for the ride. Last
season he finished 6-10 but this season the game
slows down a bit for him, and he might do some
damage with those Panthers. The New Orleans Saints
are coached by Woody who went an astonishing 1-15
last season with the Bengals, which no one saw
coming. The Saints are a very good team and we
expect Woody to bounce back here with Brees, Graham,
and Sproles. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wont the
division last season under coach Jfon, and he
returns once again. Jfon is always ready for the
challenge, and it looks like he has turned over a
new leaf and is starting to win on a regular basis.
I think this is his division to lose, when you play
with your favorite team you are a bit better.
In Final: Tampa Bay's division to lose. The
Saints will give him some problems, and I think the
Panthers might surprise some people. The Falcons are
a rookie, so we cannot really read him correctly. I
think Tampa wins it, and the Saints and Panthers
battle for 2nd place.
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals: Coach RichVA804gg - Season 26:
Carolina Panthers (14-2)
San Francisco 49ers: Coach Trevpap - Season 28: San
Francisco 49ers (8-8)
Seattle Seahawks: Coach Trigrdan - Season 28: Dallas Cowboys (8-8)
St. Louis Rams: Coach Cowboyearl - *Rookie*
Analysis: The NFC West is a beast of a division.
I remember only a few seasons ago this was the worst
division in the league, and now it's probably the
best. There is no difference with the coaches here.
We see the return of Season 25 champion RichVA in
Arizona, Coach Trevpap's 3rd straight season with
San Francisco, and Coach Trigrdan is ready to make
some serious noise with the best team in the game.
We also see Cowboyearl make his MOF debut in St.
Louis! The Arizona Cardinals have a very good
defense, and Coach RichVA just knows how to win.
Their offense could use some help, as they are
probably the weakest in the division in that
category. I think the Cardinals are a good team, but
with the moving to PS4 and the talent in this
division, I think it's an uphill climb for RichVA to
continue his success. The San Francisco 49ers have
brought back Coach Trev again, he finished 8-8 last
season with the 49ers, and 9-7 the season previous.
The PS4 days are now here, so hopefully Trev can
take advantage of the defensive prowl of the 49ers
and offensive power. I think this is the most
talented team in the game, so we'll see what he can
do. The Seattle Seahawks are just dirty, simple as
that. If they aren't the best team in the game, they
are a close second. Wilson, and that defense are
just scary, and with Coach Trigrdan at the helm,
wow. I expect alot out of these guys. Trigr made the
big dance a few seasons ago with the 49ers, just
imagine what he can do with these guys. The St.
Louis Rams are headed by a rookie once again, this
time Cowboyearl. Another great rookie name. The Rams
last season under Gbryan were 12-4 and made the
Super Bowl. Can he repeat that success? I don't
think so, not in this division. But we wish you the
best of luck.
In Final: I think it will take a lot to pry
the division away from Seattle here. The 49ers and
Cardinals will definitely battle for 2nd place and a
wild-card spot. The head to head games are always
important, but in this division they will mean
everything.
